Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a review. This is a play by play experience, like none else that…read moreyou've yet to experience. I shall call it "Wendy's: The Fiasco" It began as many I'm sure have experienced. A long road trip, a great need for sustenance, and a call from nature, which I had put on hold for the last 3 hours. We enter the building, with somewhat low expectations, as we had read the reviews of the restaurant before we purchased food. We ignored these warnings, which we will call the first of many mistakes. It seemed fine, the restaurant. There was a family inside, already eating, and the customer service seemed ready to attend us. We approach the counter, orders ready, and stomachs empty. If I had to describe the employee in one sentence, it would be "A blunt and dismissive fellow, hopefully in an attempt to maximize efficiency." The conversation went as follows: Me: "I'd like a Dave's Double please" Blunty, the employee: "No onions." Me: "What?" Blunty: "We don't have onions." Me: "Okay, um I saw a sign outside for a DC kids meal?" Blunty: "You want a kids meal?" Me: "The DC kids meal." Blunty: "We've never sold those." Me: "There's a sign outside for it." Blunty: "I don't know what you're talking about" Me: "Okay well just the Dave's doubles then" Should we talk about the food? Let's talk about the food. In all honesty, the burgers were, albeit a little strange in sauce proportions, it was fine. The fries however, resembled something like those chewy dog treats, not fries. I can say on the bright side however, my jawline has seen significant improvement after that meal. But the drinks. Oh, the drinks. Have you ever smelled turpentine? Or perhaps lighter fluid? Carbonate it, and BAM, a Wendy's root beer. For our own entertainment, we tasted every drink they had to offer. It was stunning, to say the least. Never before have I gotten a seizure from overly sour minute maid limeade, and whoever thought the "Xtra Sour Powerade" was a good idea should probably see a therapist. Or a health inspector. Either works. It was awful. Needless to say, after trying almost 20 different drinks, a bathroom was in great demand. The facilities, unfortunately, were vile. Urine on the seat, trash piling in the corners, and I still don't what was on the faucet. Honey? Syrup? Sap? It was translucent. It was sticky. It was brown. I believe my hands were dirtier after washing, not before. All in all though, it was a funny experience, with surprises all over the place, and laughs everywhere. However, I can still taste the Powerade. And my jaw is sore. So at the end of the day, 1/5 stars, will not go again and I suggest you don't give it a try.

When I asked what kind of Salsa they had, he asked if I wanted "breakfast salsa." I was confused by this because I seem like most places they would have at least mild, medium and hot. When I inquired further, he told me that they had "breakfast salsa, red salsa, and green salsa." I asked for one breakfast salsa, and one red salsa. I was surprised when I arrived at my hotel to find that I had received 7 packets of breakfast salsa. I was even more surprised to discover that the Red salsa did not appear to be premade, and it looked and smelled like enchilada sauce. Given that Taco Bell is a huge franchise, I assume that all of their salsa should come premade in plastic packets. I googled and discovered that Taco Bell is supposed to have at least five different salsa is available, all of which are premade and packaged in plastic. I'm not sure what happened at this location. Did they run out of salsa and have someone run to the storebto pick up salsa, and they accidentally picked up enchilada sauce instead? Or did they pinch hit and just start scooping enchilada sauce into their own plastic contsinets thinking the customers wouldn't be able to discern the difference? I don't expect much from Taco Bell, but expect a little better service than this, and certainly a higher quality control re: the food. I don't know who owns this location, but they need to spend more time training their employees. I'm giving this location a generous two stars because my crunch wrap was edible, even though I didn't have any decent salsa to accompany it.

Heard my concerns and turned and said something to somebody and then I waited thinking they were gonna get me something new. I asked her are you getting me new chicken nuggets? She threw her hands in the air and looked around. She's like well I guess somebody's gonna go and I said wow great customer service skills specially for a manager. This is going on yelp and she still didn't address my concerns in anyway she did however tell me that well I'm doing this order here Like she can't multitask or something. She should probably be demoted if she cannot multitask ridiculous. Worst service at a McDonald's I've ever experienced and I'm 58 so I've been there a few times.
