Call me nostalgic! Passing through town & I see they had an Abby's Legendary Pizza! So you know I had to stop! Decided I'd order something off the menu with a small change. They have so many options and I decided on a small. Pepperoni Mushroom & Olive with a small drizzle of BBQ sauce. If you haven't had it... you must try it! First bite crust was perfectly crunchy and tasted amazing! Growing up I had an Abby's down the street from my house. So this brought back so many memories! They have Salads and Fountain drinks also. Some beer on tap! This place based on my experience I had to give it 5 stars. Nostalgia took me over and my emotions ran high like a little kid again. Delicious pizza & friendly staff. Average pizza. We stopped in for dinner on a cross-country trip. Ordered a Hawaiian pizza and Greek salads. The Greek salad was generously sized. The restaurant ambiance was okay, seemed geared for families with a popular arcade on one side where kids were enjoying themselves. Restaurant could have been cleaner (seats) and had a slight greasy odor upon entering our booth. Staff was friendly. Anyone who knows me knows that I avoid national chains and prefer to support local businesses wherever I travel. Abby's is kind of in the middle because, for the most part, they are an Oregon chain with stores in many small towns. Wanting a small pizza and not seeing any great options - and since I haven't been to an Abby's - why not? Greeted by Lissa (her spelling not mine) who was friendly and welcoming. Ordered to go so I could finish some paperwork in my hotel room. Didn't really care if it was thick or thin so I ordered thin with pepperoni, black olives, and sausage. The result was better than expected - but on par with those national outlets. Also, tried some cinnamon knots. Blick. Over done and so hard I thought I'd have to register the knots as a weapon. Seriously, I could throw one at someone and cause serious injury. (Not that I would!) The ambiance had that 70s-80s feel to it and there were some arcade games in the back for kiddies and big "kids" who haven't grown up yet. Now I am a pizza snob from my work as a kid in a local Italian restaurant in San Diego. We made the best pizza along with great pasta selections, sandwiches and more - all from scratch. Our pizza dough was made fresh every day and all toppings were fresh. We made our pizza in this order: sauce, toppings, and cheese. What, last? Yes. It held held the toppings in place so they didn't slip off the pizza when eating. I've only found one place in Oregon that does that and they are a local joint in Tigard. Enough said. Bottom line: Good, but for me, not in a hurry to rush back. Got feedback from the manager about 100% legendary pizza. I didn't complain (too much) about the pizza. It was 100% good not not 100% great. And, the Cinnamon knots were terrible and manager didn't mention that. read more

I have always loved Abby's pizza. I used to go there frequently when I worked at Kaiser Rockwood.

Ordered delivery and the pizza arrived within 30 minutes. It was still hot and tasted great.

This review is based on delivery service only. We were so excited to see an Abby's Pizza location only 1/4 mile from the Motel 6 we were staying at for the night. I called in my delivery and was told it would take an hour. An hour and a half later, our order showed up. I tipped and sent the driver on her way. Once I checked the bags, I realized there was no fork for the salad, and absolutely no white sauce for dipping. It was pretty frustrating because I had called them back, 10 minutes after placing my order, to ensure they would include paper plates, napkins, utensils and EXTRA white dipping sauce because we also ordered garlic knots. So, I called right away to let them know, and the lady who answered said she would send the driver right back. She did come back, with two forks and only two dipping sauces. I appreciated the timely semi-fix, but the pizza was already 30 minutes late, and to wait another 10-15 minutes for the semi-complete order was disappointing. I can't believe they only send two dipping sauces with a small pizza and 6 garlic knots. Overall, the pizza and garlic knots were good. The side salad was ok. We love Abby's Pizza, but I'm torn on whether or not I would try this location again. read more

Easy access, just off the interstate. Plenty of parking, and room for trailers. Pizza was great! We had the chicken garlic and it was one of the top five best pizzas I've ever had. Casual atmosphere and decently priced. Service was fast and staff were attentive; order at the counter but we were asked several times if we needed anything. They wouldn't give me a voucher to replace my personal pizza that was so gross; they insisted on a full sized pizza voucher. I told them I didn't want it because I'm one person and I won't have a fridge with me, driving for 14 hours. But they insisted. It delayed in coming but it did come. They have super easy online ordering so we were able to place our order, tip, pay ahead of time so all we needed to do was run in and grab it. When I opened the box I was thrilled with the toppings! Pendleton, Oregon location If I could give 5 NEGATIVE STARS I would. What an awful experience my husband and I just had! We ordered two 7 inch pizzas and then proceeded to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT... Apparently they don't process people's orders as they come in because I watched table after table of people who came in AFTER US getting food before us. Then we asked where our pizzas were. Twice. The manager blamed being "under staffed" for the issue, but that was HARD TO BELIEVE AS FOOD ARRIVED TO OTHER TABLES who came in after us. Or perhaps the manager forgot to put our order in (which I think may be the real truth but she wouldn't admit it). It seems like we got our pizzas about 10 minutes after we first asked about them. The manager finally brought the pizzas out, gave us our money back, but then she said loudly - so that everyone in the restaurant could hear - that the reason for our late pizzas was the "understaffing" situation - apparently to shame me! She also said, "You act like this is all about you". Well, yes, it is. I'm the customer! When you treat customers like c*** then you should be fired. I was so furious, I didn't even want to eat the pizza there. So we boxed it and left. Then I realized they didn't put mushrooms or garlic on my pizza as they were supposed to. Unbelievable. We were road tripping and looking for a place as we came into town that had gluten free options for my wife who is a diagnosed celiac. She gets sick with any cross contamination. They assured us they had a separate line of ingredients and they change gloves when preparing GF. Well my wife enjoyed a delicious pizza and they did it right. She did not get sick at all!! Everyone in our party (of 6) thought the pizza was great as the toppings were stacked high and to the edges so there was no real "crust" that didn't get eaten. I love this place and will return as the pizza is my jam; however, the manager Melissa gets one star and this rating is due to her behavior on the job site. She is running around like a mad woman berating employees in front of customers, and just said to a customer with a line behind him, "I just had one of my best employees walk out. People need to grow up". My pizza was also absent pepperoni which was on my receipt. Not even going to raise a stink about it as I may get yelled at too lol. Maybe she is just having a bad day. I hope she is in a better mood tomorrow for the sake of her employees. UPDATE: So as we were leaving, the Assistant Manager was kind and cordial and said thank you for coming, how was everything?
