Haven't been to KFC in years but we love a good chicken tender and the commercials look great! So we decided to give it a try. We visited the restaurant in Quincy, MA. First of all, we waited a long time. Did not feel like fast food at all! I will say the staff was good though slow. We could not believe the prices but thought we would still give it a chance. The chicken was ok but each tender was small. The total for 12 tenders and 3 sides is $44!!!!!' If we just got the tenders it would have been $31! Tenders were small and sides are small!!! This was nearly enough food for 2 people. We could get 12 delicious tenders at Stevie's in Milton for $16! We could got out to dinner and have full meals for $22 each! i got kfc for me and my 4 year old. we barely finished it we got chicken, mashed and a roll. within an hour we were both violently ill. i was sick for hours afterwards my stomach was in the worst pain, i was sweating and shaky and couldnt get off the toliet. i couldnt shaked the feeling it was so bad i stuck my fingers down my throat hoping to puke and try to feel better. nothing helped. we both took naps and were afraid to eat rest of the day. the next day i went to kfc in wolly and all i did was ask for my $15 back on a gift card so i could use it at the taco bell (never issues there before) and the manager who had the incorrect name tag on his shirt said he cant do that he said come by the next day and its on him. so i tried something different a pot pie and it was so gross and bones in it and the soda was even flat. u couldnt pay me to EVER eat there again. place is horrible. read more

I hardly ever come here, mainly because KFC chicken is just average and this location was a dump. But I went recently and found that the store was given a new paint job (earth tones, woot!) and the dining area is much cleaner. Service was much improved over my previous experiences, though that's not saying much. Just taking my order, not giving me attitude, which is all bare minimum, is an improvement. Hello: Why is this location charging me 75¢ to change my sides? I ordered a family meal yesterday and I was offered coleslaw and mashed potatoes for my sides. I informed the drive thru rep that I wanted potato wedges and mac and cheese instead. They informed me that these were premium items that necessitated an upgrade charge. The kid taking the order was very confused because they ran out of chicken thighs and only had dark meat. Another kid walks up with a attitude and a smirk saying same thing so I said well can you give something else of white meat. After they continuously said dark meat for thighs I finally said I don't like dark meat it's gross finally they realize I'm saying I'll take anything in white meat not just dark. The chicken isn't bad at all. The counter help here is pretty good and I usually receive my order pretty fast. The only thing that I really don't like about this location is that it isn't kept very clean. I very seldom eat in the dining room but every time I do there is always debris on the floor, the trash cans are filled to the max, the tables need to be wiped down and even the beverage center does not seem to be kept up very well. I can't say what the restrooms are like because I never use them when I am there. This location is probably better for takeout since the food is perfectly good and it's just the interior of the restaurant that needs work. On a busy night you might have do drive around the block a few times to wait for a parking space to open up because the lot here is very small or you can park on the street. read more

I've been parked at the drive through for 30 minutes and I see two workers go to the shed, one took 5 minutes to grab one bag of to go boxes and the other was standing outside smoking and then offered the second person a smoke. If this establishment wasn't the closest one to my home I would never come back. The workers are all extremely rude and would refuse to read back my order and then would tell me I was at fault when my order was messed up. What happened to decent customer service? The second time I came here I waited an hour which is ridiculous but i was craving fried chicken, I've decided to stop waiting and drive past the window and saw all of the workers talking in a group at the front end and there was at least 6 of them. read more

This place is a nightmare. It is close to my home, so I have swallowed hard and tried to patronize it several times, but I will not do so again. The place is usually messy and filthy. The staff do not care about anything. In my few visits, I have seen them in verbal confrontations with customers more often than in any other restaurant. The dining room is supposed to remain open until 10:00 PM. On two occasions, I showed up at 9:55 (coming from the T), and the door was locked and the chairs already placed on top of the tables. I went to the drive-in window to complain, and the employee said: "According to our computer, it is 10:00, so we can't help you." I complained on-line to KFC, and after two weeks of silence, I received in the mail a $5 coupon. So, I tried again to use the coupon - at 9:55 PM. Same response. I double checked the time on my iPhone and on the clock at the 7-11 next door. The KFC computer clock was set 10 minutes fast. But the nasty attitude of the employee what was really turned me off. It was just chicken and they were the same price. She threw a huge tantrum and started slamming my bag of food around. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to go there, but I took a chance because it's the closest to where I live. First, the overhead menu is a sea of confusion. But the guy at the counter helped me out (even though it was hard to understand his English). I haven't eaten at Kentucky Chicken in 10 years, and was taken aback at how salty everything was. You can't run a business with chicken in the title and run out of it a full two hours before you even close!!! Was just here and walked in. No one waiting in line. Great!!!! Unfortunately I had to wait 20 minutes for someone t acknowledge me and possibly start my order. No chance. The counter person was off to the side having a loud conversation with another customer. After waiting as long as I did, the cashier decided it was time to take my order. Well as I started he continued his conversation. I had to interject and angrily ask him to STOP his conversation and PLEASE finish my order. He stated to me "that is my friend". Not caring I stated, just take my order and you can go back to talking. At this point, there is now a line that was out the door. Piss poor customer service. I tried calling the store on my way home. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! If you think you should get polite service for the money you're spending, don't waste your time. The woman who took my order was rude, not helpful at all. Just contented herself with telling me what they didn't have every time I asked for something. Then, when I went to pay, the teenager at the window didn't greet me, didn't tell me how much I owed, just took my money and gave me the change. No speaking whatsoever. No, "thank you, have a nice day"....NOTHING. Then, there was non fork or spoon provided with our ordered food. The food was so hot that it burned my son's leg. I'm so disappointed because there used to be a fantastic young black man who worked there. He was so pleasant and helpful. KFC at this location is not worth going to unless the managers take this review seriously and gets his/her employees some much needed customer service training. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a total embarrassment to KFC. First, let me say the young female working the register last night (around 5pm on May 17), needs some serious customer service training. I started to order and all I got out was, "I'd like the 8-piece family deal, extra crispy...." and was interrupted with a finger being pointed at me, indicating that she wanted me to stop speaking. She turned around, fumbled with some chicken, then returned and said, "we ain't got no extra crispy wings." Then when we got home, I realized there were no biscuits in the bag. I went to KFC in Quincy ma yesterday. I haven't been in years so I thought I would give it a try. The people at the window had no personality at all. I ordered a bucket with sides. When I arrived at home I opened the bucket and saw that the chicken which I could barely recognize as chicken was all squished in the bucket. When I put it on the plate, the chicken was ALL bones and no meat. My son who has been asking for this for dinner couldn't even eat it he said it was so greasy and disgusting he choose to eat only thing edible the potatoes. I made an order for 12 piece strips, large wedges, large mashed potatos, and 1 chicken breast at 6:51pm. Here's what happened. We waited until 7:15, after everybody was served and we're the only one waiting for food. At this point, the people at the register asked what number we were and we said what number we were. We were already angry since we've been waiting for 25 minutes and then they said, "Sorry, but we don't have any breast at the moment, it'll be another 20 minutes." Then we started arguing with them since it's ridiculous to wait 45 minutes for a single piece of chicken breast at a fast food chicken restaurant... We just wanted our food and started to argue with the staff there. One of the workers there had the nerve to stand to the side, in plain view from us, and laugh at us while we're arguing. The manager didn't even have the courage to talk to us about the problem! When we demanded the manager, she was talking to us, from across the kitchen, saying she was busy with another customer. Regardless if she was helping another customer, we were there way before the other customer she was helping. We demanded our money back and we had to argue with them until they would actually give it to us. At this point, we've already been waiting for over a half an hour. We wanted something for the huge waste of time and they really didn't want to give us anything. We had to keep arguing until they basically threw a box of strips at us. And to top it off, the strips were old and cold. So in the end, we got old food, had to argue for our money back, was treated with awful service where the manager refused to talk to us, and were laughed at.
