    Honey Garlic Boneless Wings

I ordered the honey garlic chicken for the first time at this location and it is delicious! The chicken is cooked well and is very crispy and flavorful. The woman at the counter was very kind and I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my food to finish cooking. The store is small but there is plenty of lighting and sunlight so the atmosphere is quite nice.

I saw that this place has good review, so I decided to try it. I ordered several items to go via their apps. I ordered mala ddeokbokki and ros ddeokbokki. These are delicious. The restaurant is small with limited seatings, so I'd say it was a good decision on my end to order for pick up. Server was nice and friendly when I picked up my foods.

Walking into the shop, there's not much seating room, but it did give a more takeout vibe. Quincy is very residential, so it totally makes sense. I realized they tried to jam-pack so many machines in the little hallway. It's ok, but an eyesore for certain! The chicken was as good as always, but something was a bit off. We ordered about 30 minutes before closing, so maybe they rushed. Still, not a great excuse! The Rose Ddeok-Bokki was made first. It was really good but since it was made about 15 minutes before everything else was finished, the cheese was no longer gooey, more like congealed consistency. The chicken was also packed right away. I wonder if the condensation from the packaging caused it to be a little less powdery. With these things into consideration, I wish I could give 3.5 stars. Service was just the bare minimum I definitely would order again at this location if it's close by, just because I love BBQ cheesling. However, if I could choose another location for BBQ, I certainly would.

I love BBQ chicken! Their chicken is unbeatable and they're my go to place for Korean Fried Chicken. This location is small and most of the business here is take-out. I'm a fan of their lunch special that's available Monday - Friday 11am - 3pm. For $10.95, you get to choose from 9 different boneless wings flavor, french fries, and a soda. The only con is that the meat is white meat. If you dine in, there is seating with a few bar seats and a big table in the middle. They have a self serve station with condiments, utensils, and napkins by the side. The chicken is made to order so it can take 10-15 minutes or so after ordering to get the food. My favorite flavors are the soy garlic, spicy galbi, gangjeong, and gangnam style. The sauce is delicious and the meat is flavorful. However, I prefer the Allston location as the menu is bigger there, serves alcohol, and has more space inside.

The restaurant is located in a busy area in Quincy with limited parking. The restaurant is really small has doesn't have much seating. This appears to be more of a takeout spot. I was only looking for a snack so I got the spicy chicken sandwich. I definitely want to come back for the wings. The chicken in the sandwich was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It wasn't spicy and came with a sauce you can add that was more sweet than spicy. Overall, it was a good sandwich. I think the wings would have been better.

This is the sign that literally says they are hiring lol.

Normally go here for the wings and kimchi fried rice. It's a hit or miss and depending on the chicken used in the kimchi fried rice ( in my opinion) the rice has its fats as well. But today I went in and saw they were hiring, I called to ask ( I should have known better, but I tried my luck) and the lady told me there's no hiring sign on the door and they're not hiring. I told her I just saw the sign and she kept telling me no, then hung up. I went to the store to follow up because I'm hoping it's a mistake. But nope , it wasn't a mistake and she explained to me that they do not hire Black people. So that was awkward. Because in this great land , that was my first experience for that to happen . At least if there's racism , discrimination and all of that, the food should taste good at least majority of the time .

I was so excited that the South Shore finally has a Korean fried chicken spot. I have tried this place a couple of times but unfortunately, they are never consistent with their wings. Sometimes, the fried chicken wings has too much sauce and other times, the wings are too dry and hardly has any sauce. My faves are definitely the honey garlic and soy garlic. However, I think their wings have too much batter compared to BonChon and Mad for Crave. Their ddeok-bokki is pretty good but very spicy and the golden original chicken sandwich was also on par. I wish they had the kimchi fried rice and the bulgogi poutine like they do in the Allston branch. Overall, I give this place a 3.5 stars.

Then Covid came, and this restaurant rebranded itself as an a-la-cart Korean BBQ and sushi restaurant. I tried it once after the rebranding. It was relatively expensive, and neither the hotpot nor the sushi stood out. With food that was middling at best and a higher than average price, I didn't feel it was worth returning to. So I haven't visited this place since 2022. Fast forward to last night, my family stayed up to watch football, and we got hungry and wanted to buy some takeout. Many places that we were interested in were closed by 10 PM, and Royal Hotpot was still open. So we bought several items from them for takeout. We live 20 minutes away and did our own pickup. When we got home with the food, we found the following: I had a beef Bibimbop. 20 minutes after pickup from the restaurant, it was already cold. Not ice cold, but room temperature at best. There was no sauce. You eat a Bibimbop by first pouring in the special Bibimbop sauce and getting its taste onto everything. But, as I said, no sauce. The Bibimbop itself? A relatively small bowl that had plenty of rice, a boatload of seaweed that smelled fishy, and not much beef even when I stirred the food around to find what beef I could. There was not much. So, I put a spoonful of rice into my mouth. All I could taste was the fishiness of the seaweed,. There was no beef taste or any other taste that I could discern. So for almost $30 bucks I got a dry bowl if rice and mostly seaweed that was devoid of any taste you could enjoy. It was basically dry seaweed rice, with very little meat, and no sauce. I have eaten Korean food in general and Bibimbop in particular from maybe 20 restaurants in the Greater Boston area. I would rate this one the worst, by a significant margin, that I have ever had. I ended up putting the entire bowl, after two bites, into the fridge. Why didn't I throw it away? I feed stray cats behind my house, and this will go to the cats tonight. The two mouthfuls that I tried to eat? I spit those out into the garbage because it tasted so vile in my mouth. As for the other order, it was mostly sushi. My family member who absolutely LOVES sushi of any kind did eat his order, but he muttered that it was definitely subpar. So there you have it. If you ever have a yen for Korean or Japanese cuisine and you don't find many places open, don't come to this place. Eat some canned food from home, or make some instant noodles. This place, for me, was an awful choice. After putting Royal Hotpot's food away, I made an instant noodle to fill my hunger. that instant noodle was 5 times better than my expensive takeout. Note: I only give 1 star reviews for food that is literally spoiled, or when restaurant staff give egregiously awful service, 2 stars is the rating I generally give for really bad, unenjoyable food.

Visually - the restaurant is beautiful and they present ingredients really well - especially the hot pot displays. I was super impressed. Food wise - the meat we ordered for hot pot was super yummy, the Tom Yum broth was flavorful, and the sauce bar had a lot of options so you can make your own dipping sauce to your liking. The KBBQ was ok, I was more impressed by the hot pot. If I were to come back, I would try their sushi. The menu is very extensive - wish they offered AYCE option a long with the a la carte, but overall great experience!

I started with the Gyoza. The owner/chef advertised these as home-made, and it definitely shows. The dough is delicate, and the meat and vegetable inside are balanced and nicely seasoned. I think there are a few glass noodles thrown in for texture as well. The Dolsot Bibmbop was great! It came out on a sizzling, hot stone bowl and had flavorful and tender meat and a wide assortment of veggies. Everything was cooked just right, and had a spot-on amount of seasoning/salt/spice. I also loved how the rice on the hot stone came out with a lovely crunch! Finally, we eat with our eyes (though some Yelpers eat with their cameras) and visually it was colorful, and could beat out some works of contemporary art, if I may say so! Where it comes to the Banchan, I am much less thrilled. All but one of these had a hefty dose of an overpowering, fiery, and heavily acidic sauce. Thus, it made 4/5 of these variations on a theme. Service-wise: When I visited, it appeared to be a one-woman army. One person appeared to be the owner, chef, and server in one! She was friendly, kind, and there wasn't a hefty wait for the food. On the flip-side though, doing my research I find that some questions were left unasked. This includes if I wanted to gyoza steamed or fried, and what protein I wanted with the bibimbop. Value-wise, I find their prices are reasonable, especially considering the filling portions. Thus, while nothing was mind-blowing, I found the food tasty and authentic and the value reasonable. While the service was very welcoming, it would've been nice to have been asked about the options in the menu. Last, the Banchan was enough of a miss that if I return, I will ask to skip them.

We walked up to a straightforward counter setup within the busy food hall, where the menu offers a good variety of traditional Korean comfort foods that make it an easy place to grab a quick meal while shopping or if you are craving something simple and filling. The shared seating area nearby makes it convenient to sit and enjoy your meal, though the overall experience is more about the food than the atmosphere. We tried a variety of the snack items, and overall the food was decent. The kimbap was freshly made with a good amount of filling, the rice holding together well and the vegetables and meat adding a balanced texture. The tteokbokki had a flavorful sauce with the chewy texture you would expect, and the heat level was noticeable without being overwhelming. Everything tasted well prepared, but nothing particularly stood out enough to make us want to go out of our way to order it again. The menu has enough variety that there are plenty of different items to sample if you are visiting for the first time, and the portions are reasonable for a snack stop. The food came out fairly quickly during our visit, and the staff were friendly, making the process feel smooth and efficient. BOON by Mukshidonna is a solid option for Korean street food inside H Mart. The food is enjoyable and offers a nice selection of popular snack dishes, though the pricing felt a little high for what you receive. If you are already at H Mart, it is a convenient place to stop, but it is not necessarily worth a special trip. The quality is consistent for a quick bite, and the variety across the menu gives you room to try different items on repeat visits, though the overall experience is more about convenience than standout flavors.
