I've always wanted to try raising cane's and had to jump at the chance while visiting Boston. The location was very busy. I had to wait in a small line to order. I went with a kids meal, which gets you two chicken strips, side sauce, and a drink. I wanted to try the lemonade and had to pay an up charge to do so. The decor was fun. The table I sat at had disco balls above and illuminated my food as I ate my food was served to me relatively fast. Everything was hot and fresh. I enjoyed my food. The fries were basic in my opinion. Nothing special, your average fast food fries I wish they were a little better. The chicken strips are where it's at. I could see myself coming back for more if we had one locally. Paired with the signature sauce, it was a delightful combo. Even when I was at my seat I felt like there were people basically sitting on my lap due to how close they were to me. It makes sense for the location though and it wouldn't stop me from going back. We ended up both ending up getting our orders mistaken for the "Box combos", which granted us each one extra chicken finger, but my girlfriend got only one side of cole slaw in place of her fries, and it would have been ideal if she had gotten two. The food in general was pretty good for Canes (I favored this location over the BU location), though the Dr. Pepper was watered down. I swapped it for a Coca-Cola however and that was pretty solid. The taste of the food is why they are getting stars, tbh. Aside from the food, the service was okay but the bathrooms were dirty, and the store needed to be restocked. This is the second time I've been to this specific location. I've always had good experiences at Raising Cane's, restaurants, and other locations I've been to. But this location over Sal their fries so much that it makes them in edible for me. The first time I went, my fries had way too much salt, so I asked for new batch. And, after they took unreasonably long to finally get me a new batch it was barely half a portion, but with twice the attitude. After several months, I thought I'd give it another shot today. But it was the same issue. Way too much salt. So I asked the lady sitting next to me if she had eaten any of her fries yet. And she said the same thing WAY, way too much salt! But, today I don't have time to stand around, waiting for them to get it right. So I just won't go back there anymore. Glad this location finally opened up. I was surprised it was relatively clean, at least compared to the one by BU. The interior is a mix of original Cane's interior with a mix of modern, like modern contemporary chandeliers. Service to get order was ok, a little wait but not too bad. Wasn't a fan of the call system where they shout your name from the counter. Its a pretty crowded area at the front so everyone crowds up front. I ordered a combo that I saw on the menu as specifically coming with chicken tenders, toast, fries, and coleslaw - something I remember distinctly being both online and on the physical menu. However, the front of house employee confused me when they mentioned it not coming with coleslaw and didn't do the best job clarifying. Despite it being crowded, we got two combos with drinks super quickly and there was adequate space for seating. I subbed my fries for coleslaw, which was a good decision on my part. Crinkle cut aren't my favorite, and while they were good they were a bit on the drier side, and so was the chicken. It wasn't breaded as evenly as I've seen with other chicken tenders in the past. The toast was absolutely delicious, I wish they gave bigger pieces of bread! The cane's sauce is also great as well. The fountain drinks are good too, but I'd skip the Dr. Pepper.
