Get an extra star for being in the same place. I have never been inside this place, just through the drive through on many occasions. My chiropractor is pretty much right next door to this place. The best part about them being together is you can get KFC hot sauce with your Taco Bell taco. If you have never tried it you should. Besides that it is just like all the rest so do not be overly excited about the service or quality of product. We waited nearly 30 mins for 5 hot wings. I kid you not. 5 effin' hot wings. Somehow they messed up our order and charged us $34 for someone else's drive thru order. Instead of realizing that our order was messed up and clarifying it with us, they just let us sit to the side for hella long. I usually like their hot wings as a quick snack, but this experience was pretty bad and it was nothing, but quick. However, I gave them 3 stars instead of 1 star only because another employee that helped us refunded us the overcharge and doubled our order to 10 wings for free. Went to KFC for a fried chicken and mash potatoes fix. The drive thru line was super long, so I parked and went inside instead. Drive thru waits are extremely long, especially if cars don't know how to move up properly. There will be a line leading onto the city street, which is a major inconvenience and hazardous to oncoming traffic. Perhaps these owners should think about reconstructing a new drive thru solution and/or update drive thru operator task to more efficient speeds. Taco Bell & KFC are two of my personal favorites, so I don't like to see them struggling like this. Losing business over poor construction and lack of moral in workers. Breaking away from the traditional one menu option that plague so many restaurants in San Jose, this KFC/Taco Bell (all of the powers, none of the weaknesses) gives you TWO whole menu options. Because really, who can truly decide between the Mexican Pizza or the 3 piece meal? Thus sprang forward an invention that must have been the result of high times at Ridgemont High. This location isn't bad. Both menus seem to be complete with requisite items. Service is spotty at times, but I understand it's a fast food joint with staff that's overwhelmed/overworked/underpaid. Make sure to always double check your order. On my last two visits, in my haste to stuff my face with fast food, I forgot to check the bag and I missed a few items. My go to items at KFC are their Hot wings and Mash Potatoes and Gravy. Beside the fact that their food quality has gone way down, those were the items I could still count on when I go there.. until yesterday! If you are like me, I loved their original hot wings and how it was lightly battered, perfectly crunchy, well seasoned with a nice hint of the spicy kick, but when I purchased them yesterday it was the worst wings I've ever eaten. First of all the chicken tasted super old too, like its been re-fried too many times. The battered are heavily coated on the wings that with each bite it actually taste like raw flour. As if that wasn't bad enough, it was extreme lack of its spicy kick and overpower with saltiness. Speaking of salty, eating their potatoes wedges was like having a ton of salt packed in your mouth every bite! And my goodness their mash & gravy, overly buttered and spices. Whats going on?! I love this KFC! Everything's always great. I don't know what's going on today but the manager on duty must be an assistant (younger man) Hes rude for no reason. I come through the drive thu all the time and I guess the register didn't have enough change today? IDK or they are trying to force tip themselves IDK. Just now the window cashier asked me for .42 cents change to round off to a dollar which is fine that happens everywhere. So have it to him .42 cents but it didn't do anything. I paid with $10.00 my change was suppose to be $5.42 He just gave me $5.00 back so I had to park to ask for the .42 cents I gave him . It didn't do anything but another associate short changed me and gave me .32 cents back. So I asked for the difference and she went to get it and then the Assistant manager on duty ask what was going on and I explained and he got upset with me saying "well give him a break" twice with an attitude saying I'll get your change right now but everything was fine the girl was helping me so I don't know why he got upset at me for hanging around waiting for the change from the girl and I tried to explain to him No, the girl gave me .32 cents change and he said well here is your 10 cents.. Bad service, always giving me a hard time whenever I want to order something. I only go here to buy my sister food since she likes to eat the fried chicken here. Whenever I ask this location to replace the drink for coleslaw included in the $5 fill-up, they always so no. That is fine, but at least don't charge me for the drink if I don't want a drink. On October 15, 2017 at 10:17pm I ordered the Fill up meal and the popcorn chicken combo. I asked if they had a spicy flavor and the lady with Pink hair replied in a smart remark, "this isn't Popeyes." Once I got to the window I thought I had my order but parked in the parking lot to make sure I got my order. My order was missing the popcorn chicken and potato wedges. So I had to wait another 15 minutes in line to get to the window. I told the person at the window that they missed my order and that the lady with the pink hair needs to stop being rude and needs to pay attention when taking orders. Now here is the two things that pissed me off. I asked why i didn't have my popcorn chicken and potato wedges. She said Im sorry were out of potato wedges and our manager isn't here and we are short staffed. I don't understand why you would sell a product knowing your out of one of the items, thats Fraud. They gave me the popcorn chicken but when I got home it was literally chicken batter. The people that work there do not care about consistency when it comes to representing KFC brand.
