As I arrived at the outdoor pickup window a young gentleman welcomed me and stated they are waiting on my sandwich. A few moments later a young gal approached the window and stated the same. Both were very pleasant and smiled. I was addressed by my name as my order was ready. Super customer service. Thank you. I can't comment on ambiance of the inside since I stayed outside. The outside was clean and inside workers appeared organized for pick up orders. The order consisted of a spicy chicken sandwich and side of spaghetti. The breading on the sandwich was crunchy and flavorful while the chicken was extremely moist. I made the mistake to not include the jalapeños as they were hot. I don't know what it is, but the spaghetti was sweet-fully flavorful and out of the world. It did not taste like tomato, had minimal ground beef and only one lil slice of hotdog. I certainly enjoyed it but do suggest that a bit more sauce may be more beneficial. The spaghetti noodles were cooked to perfection but for the price of $4.99 I expected a tad more. read more

I also couldn't help but notice the quality of the finishes. The tile alignment is inconsistent, transitions and edges appear unfinished, and there are construction details that are difficult to overlook. It feels rushed rather than thoughtfully executed. What makes me saddest isn't just the design - it's that the renovation seems to have stripped away the identity that made Jollibee feel uniquely Filipino (teal tiles! Come on...) Walking through the doors no longer gives me that familiar feeling of home and nostalgia that so many Filipinos associate with the brand. That said, one thing that hasn't changed is the people. The customer service is still warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The kind of hospitality Filipinos are known for. The staff continues to make customers feel appreciated, and that warmth is something I truly value and hope never changes. Modernizing a space doesn't have to mean leaving its cultural roots behind. Great design can be contemporary while still celebrating heritage. I wish this renovation had found a way to combine a fresh, updated look with the warmth, color, and unmistakable Filipino personality that has always made Jollibee special. I'll still be back for the Chickenjoy, Palabok, Peach Mango Pie, pineapple Drink and everything else I love on the menu. A very delicious meal, we used the kiosk to order, it was super easy. We ordered the six piece bucket with adobo rice and regular fries, also a few of their tasty drinks. The meal was ready in 5 minutes, chicken was hot and juicy, adobo rice was on point, fries were hot and crispy, they were super friendly and accommodating. Tables were clean. I love Jollibee! Best takeout fried chicken since Church's Chicken! I come to this location often and I prefer to order pickup versus standing in line. The lines here can get backed up and the pickup order gives me time to stop by Food Maxx if I need to pick up extra dinner side dishes. I usually order a family bucket deal and pick either the spaghetti or palabok. Hot, crispy fried skin on the outside, juicy tender meat on the inside. I love the gravy, I can pour it over everything! I like to have a hot pot of rice waiting for me at home so I can pour the gravy all over it. Don't skip the mango pie, it's crispy and gooey! On this occasion I wanted to try the KATSEYE collab. It was delicious! I got the KBBQ sandwich, the chicken was crispy and the sauce was tangy with a soy sauce zing. The freshness of the cilantro, red onions and cucumbers complimented the flavor. Just to be accurate about this review, this is my second time eating at a Jollibee (the first time was in Singapore whre I had the fried chicken). This location of Jollibee is very busy with both dining-in and take-out activity. Since I had the fried chicken before I wanted to try the Angus Deluxe Burger Combo. The price was definitely competitive. I placed the order at the counter and I was given a beeper. About 8 minutes later I was beeped to pick up my order. Room for dining-in was limited due to the good sized crowd. The restaurant was clean and there was lots of staff around helping everyone. Coming back to the burger, it was definitely a good and tasty burger. The two things that caught my attention were the pickles and the bun. The pickles was actually nice, not too sour with a slight sweetness to it. I am not a fan of truly sour pickles. The bun was a little too soft but still tasted great. There was a huge staff working at least 15 to 25 people and while they were working hard, the system was disorganized and slow. I waited 18 minutes for my order, which is way too long for fast food. I was hoping the newly remodeled Jollibee on Tully Road would be an improvement, but unfortunately they still have some problems to work out. First, my order was packed poorly. The lid on the spaghetti wasn't secured tightly enough, so the sauce spilled inside the bag. That's a pretty basic takeout issue that shouldn't happen. Second, the side portions are ridiculously small for the price. The coleslaw was $3.49, and the serving was tiny. For something that's prepared in large batches, the portion simply doesn't justify the price. The biggest problem, though, was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was about 79 degrees inside, with plenty of customers sitting and eating. The air conditioning either wasn't running or wasn't keeping up. After remodeling a restaurant in San Jose, you'd expect the dining room to at least be comfortable. On top of that, they increased the price of their six-piece bucket by $3, I believe. $18.99. That's a significant jump, especially when the portions and overall experience don't justify the higher cost. There were a couple of positives: the bathrooms were clean, and I like the outdoor window pickup area. But overall, today's visit was disappointing. One star today. Hopefully they'll get these issues straightened out now that they've reopened, because this location can do better. One of the few Jollibee locations in the area! Red Ribbon is no longer part of this location. Plenty of parking and now that Red Ribbon is no longer, there is much more seating available inside. This location gets super busy, not only for dine-in but from food delivery service orders. Usually stop in for Spaghetti with Chickenjoy but made a visit to try the new KATSEYE KBBQ menu, where my EYEKONS at? The KBBQ Chicken Sandwich was just OK, the bread was toothsome and the sauce was too salty. The sprinkle of cilantro and red onions and 3 slices of cucumber is a bit laughable. I would recommend giving an option to have the KBBQ sauce on the side. It does have some heat to it and flavor akin to that of bulgogi sauce + trad BBQ. Call me a traditionalist but Jollibee fried chicken is delicious on it's own and doesn't need to be smothered in a sauce ... unless that is gravy. Their fried chicken truly just reminds me of fried chicken skin and has that chicharron quality to it. Fan of sweet Filipino spaghetti? Jollibee has it down perfectly with slices of hot dog and processed "cheese". The gripe I still hold is how overpriced Jollibee is and shrinkflation has taken effect. The Mango Peach pie is way smaller now. Is it just as delicious? But you get so much less. Also, still standing firm in asking for the Banana Langka pie to return, please. We were leaving Saratoga area when I decided to DoorDash from the Tully location (closest to our home). I ordered the 6-piece, a side of spaghetti, a side of fries, and it came with a small container of gravy. Please skip the fries. It was under seasoned and limp. The fried chicken and the gravy however, was delicious. It felt like Thanksgiving. The chicken was fried perfectly and the gravy gave it a boost as it was thick and rich. It's been a few years since I've last had Jollibee's and so far I have to say this location is probably my favorite. The chicken here is so juicy, crispy skin and large portion. I ordered the spicy chicken, not that spicy to me, pretty mild. Also got their spaghetti which was a little too sweet for me, still good size. The rice was good, and went nicely with a side of gravy. The gravy had a nice flavor. I like the gravy with rice and a piece of chicken. Perfect combo. This location is busy, they have dining but also lots of people do take out. The meal itself is pretty affordable compared to other fast food restaurants. Being Filipino this place is a staple for me. Although it's priced much higher these days compared to other chicken spots I still love it. With the quality of their chicken it's worth the drive for me as I'm about 45 minutes away. I always get the chicken joy bucket with white rice and to top it off pineapple drink! I drove all the way to San Jose, CA for a late lunch at Jollibee just to satisfy my cravings from the Philippines. I ordered the spaghetti, Chickenjoy, and lychee iced tea. The spaghetti was a bit disappointing for me because it was dry and lacked the usual Filipino-style sweetness from the banana ketchup sauce that Jollibee is known for. The noodles were cooked just right though, and the hotdogs reminded me of the classic Libby's-style hotdogs. The chicken, for what they're famous for, still did not disappoint -- crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and still very delicious. The lychee iced tea unfortunately tasted mostly like water with barely any lychee flavor. Overall, it was okay and enough to bring back memories of eating Jollibee back in the Philippines. I'm really frustrated with how ordering works here. In the past, I've placed orders hours ahead for pickup, only to have them canceled because you ran out of the item I ordered. This has happened not once, not twice, but repeatedly. Every Saturday after 2 PM, the spicy chicken is already gone. This time it was the Korean BBQ. These flavors are what make Jollibee unique, so when they sell out so early it defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. Today at 5 PM, I tried to place an order online, but the system would not allow me to select spicy or Korean BBQ. I then went in to place the order in person, and there was no sign posted saying those items were unavailable. I waited behind 13 people in line, only to be told at the counter that there was no more Korean BBQ or spicy. That is extremely frustrating and a huge waste of customers' time. If items are unavailable, the system and the store should clearly reflect that before people try to order or wait in line. This experience has been very disappointing. read more

The "triple F". Fast Filipino Food. Despite my being of Filipino decent, this was my very first-time trying Jollibee. The reason really is because there isn't a Jollibee near where I live and we must drive 45 minutes to an hour to get to one. Plus, there are so many non-chain restaurants and delicious places to eat in the Bay Area, that fast food, even Filipino Fast Food, would not be my first choice. However, my stepson tried Jollibee and so we decided to finally give it a shot. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! They are located in a strip mall type location and parking was plentiful. In fact, we got front row parking. This may be however because we were there in an "in-between" dining time that was well over an hour after noon, and way before dinner time. Ordering is easy, but I do recommend that you either order online to pick up or know what you want to order before stepping up to the cashier because you don't want to hold up the line which I can see can easily get long. Once you order, they give you a pager that buzzes when your food is ready which is convenient, should you need to wait outside since the place is relatively small and there is not much standing room available if all the seats happen to be occupied. We ended up ordering a special meal for two people at a good price. It came with two pieces of chicken. The dark meat, which was a drumstick and thigh (either regular or spicy), gravy, pork adobo friend rice, a peach mango pie, and a fountain drink. The drink is self-service. We dined in and although it was busy and packed, we managed to find a table for two. Food was completed relatively quickly. They ran out of ice at the soda machine, which is a bummer considering I don't like drinking soda without ice. However, there are lots of fountain drink choices. Speaking of choices, the menu is rather vast as well. They have chicken sandwiches and even spaghetti! The best part of my meal was the chicken. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. I tried the regular version and the spicy version. The spicy version is not too spicy. The gravy is good. Not watery. The peach mango pie was tasty, but drippy. It seemed like the "fruit" was a puree. You don't get the satisfaction of biting into real chunks of fruit, but the outside of the pie is crispy which I loved. Possibly deep fried in the same grease as the chicken? Not sure. My least favorite thing I ordered was the adobo fried rice. They use minced garlic and garlic processed that way tends to overpower dishes. It is best not to use too much of that garlic but probably due to its size, people are liberal with applying minced garlic to dishes. Unfortunately, I found myself burping garlic hours later which is unpleasant. There were hardly any meat pieces in the fried rice as well. The meat pieces, (likely pork), were literally the size of lint! All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. Workers seemed efficient. The inside and outside of the restaurant wasn't dirty. You might ask, would I return? Maybe. The price is right, affordable for the amount of food you get, and the chicken is good. If I were to return and order it would be to go and just for the chicken and I would make my own rice at home. read more
