My husband went for supper tonight at 6:30, supper time. He ordered a bucket of chicken, thighs, and legs. There were no legs available, and not enough thighs for a bucket. They filled in with breasts, which we hate. The thighs were so brown and overcooked as to be almost inedible. This was a horrible "dining experience" and not worth the price. This first time I came to this particular KFC I ordered 2 famous bowls,the order took about 10 mins to be completed. Once completed It was missing corn. The second time the guy at the front counter didn't greet or even care to take my order. looked at me like I was taking his order and as if it's my job to greet him. They are slow in service most of the time. The few times I have been there there was a poor little woman on the cash register - who looked to be in her 80s - trying her best to keep up. Wow, what s bad restaurant. Did not open when they advertise, no one waited on me once they let me in the door. Drink price is more then what is advertised on the board. Outside grounds is fifty. Not sure if this is s franchise but the KFC needs to look this place over. read more

Costumer service here is absolutely trash. They always take forever to give you your food everytime.

The inside needs repairing and cleaning, the food was okay but the buffet looked old and unsanitary.

Restaurant was dirty and smelled like mildew, took forever to get food. Kitchen was blaring rap music. Won't be back!

Just stopped in for a late lunch. What a treat. "Granny" was very nice, store was clean and everyone was working constructively. I had the buffet which was a great deal! DO NOT EAT HERE! It's not worth the chance of getting sick from eating this food. I've lived in Shelbyville 4 yrs right down the road from this KFC. I avoided it after my wife warned me of what she heard (dirty etc.) - one day I decided to grab some wings for my son and I. Later we were both sick. This was last year. Then my sister brought home food from there. I literally ate 2 cookies thinking cookies would be fine (they aren't chicken)- woke up and had to go puke my guts out. Service was awful our order came out and was wrong so went to ask staff about it they were hateful and rude and didn't make it right.

On Friday 26-July-2019 approximately 1:00 p.m., we paid $23.50 to eat a stale, dried-out, rubbery cheeto sandwich, 1 spoon of peaches, 2 pieces of crispy chicken, 2 spoons of peas, and 3 watery tasteless fountain drinks. We had been at Guist Creek Lake and this KFC was the first restaurant we found which would allow all three of us to eat what we liked. My husband hoped to have mashed potatoes and gravy and an original recipe chicken breast. I hoped to have apple cobbler and coleslaw, and our son wanted a delicious fresh cheeto sandwich. None of us ate what we thought we were going to get, and the price was ridiculous. The cashier told me we could get what we wanted much cheaper just by ordering 2 buffets and a sandwich. But every time we approached the buffet, there was nothing in the warming trays, flies were all over everything, and almost everybody in the restaurant was asking when they would put out more food. The girl said, "I don't know." We stayed an hour, and were very disappointed, they never offered to put out anything else in the trays. The tables had not been cleaned, floors not swept, and the fountain drinks had no carbonation or taste. This was the worst KFC I have ever been to, and we will never return there! read more

Third time I've been here in the last couple weeks. Everytime I've come I had to wait at least 10 minutes for food. (2 times by drive-thru and once inside) This time they have no hot wings ready, last time they gave me the wrong sides and the first two trips they were out of extra crispy drums. KFC BAD in Shelbyville, KY. I recently tried twice to eat at the KFC in Shelbyville, KY on 03/15/2014. Twice I had to leave due to the Horrible Service, Crew, and Management/Franchisee Greed. The first time I tried was going through Drive Thru at 2:15 pm. I placed a simple order...12 pc Meal, Breats and Thighs ONLY, Extra Crispy. Crew could not decide if the normal divy of breasts were 4 or 3 pieces...and then could not comrehend Breast and Thighs ONLY, then said they charge $1 more per breast piece, but I could not get an answer on how many normally came with the meal. After 10 min in Drive Thru, I told them Nevermind and pulled out...with 4 vehicles behind me waiting to be served. I called the store and asked for a Store Mgr. I was told by the Ast. Mgr, Raphael Delgado, that the store manager was not available until Monday. I told him the issue, and as he let a BIG sigh, and stated that "they were very Busy and had a new girl in Drivethru"...then silence....so after what seemed a min, I asked for his named and hung up. The 2nd time, 8:40 pm...same night, and I went inside to place the SAME ORDER.....after standing at the cashier for 10 min, one of the crew finally asked if I had been waited on. I said no and proceeded to place my order...then the girl (no name tag), stated that it came with legs, thighs, wings, and breasts. I re-iterated Breast and Thighs ONLY....then was told it normally came with 3 breasts..and then was told that each additional breast would be $1.59 more because they are with a NEW FRANCHISEE and he "Charges More than everyone else". I said Nevermind. At this Point.....I willl NEVER be back to the KFC in Shelbyville, KY and Probably will QUIT KFC ALL TOGETHER. The Service, Management, and Franchisee Greed has become a DISGRACE to the icon Colonel Harlan Sanders and the Commonwealth of KY. I am ashamed to have the KENTUCKY name associated with this company name, owned by the Corporation, Yum Brands. read more

at kfc today/3/16, ordered and paid for a side of white gravey, then clerk said she could not sellme white gravey, even though they had plenty. she said she had to talk to the manager, a man camr to the window and said they could not sell me white gravey. no explanation, even though I could see the gravey!! this is the most ridiculous stance I have ever encountered in a restaurant, having the product but refusing to sell it to the consumer. I demanded my money back and went to another fast food place, this utter lack of concern for the customer is ignorant on their part, will NEVER go there again read more
