I should have left then. she never gave me a total. finally got to the window and asked if she heard the no pickles on my son's sandwich. First of all let me say, I love KFC but I don't eat it often and save it for a treat! So what went wrong? Several months ago I saved up my calories all day long in anticipation of eating KFC. My husband was out of town on a business trip and I made plans to eat the KFC buffet. I arrived at the restaurant to find signs that the dine-in was closed but the drive-thru was open. O.K. I'm going to settle for two thighs and a biscuit to take home. NO, I'm not going to get that even as the drive-thru was closed due to painters trucks in the way. Fast forward to last week. I had worked hard all day long and was running late on dinner plans. My husband and I were in the car together and he suggested KFC to bring home for dinner. Now that happens about once every two years so I jumped at the suggestion. We arrived at KFC, entered the inside and joined the long line. Problem one - one cashier who didn't have a clue what she was doing. Problem two -As the line inched forward someone from the back came out and announced they were all out of Crispy Chicken breasts so anyone ordering Extra Crispy would have to agree to legs and thighs. That wouldn't have been a problem for me but my husband only eats breasts. So we decided to order original. The line was still moving extremely slow but we finally reached the front. We ordered our chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of coleslaw to go. Problem three - We sat at a table and waited and waited. We observed the buffet problem with no chicken being put out and none to be had by diners. We witnessed PHYSICAL FIGHTING and arguing in the back between employees. We witnessed the Police arrive to handle the employee scuffle. Finally our food was ready. We picked it up and left for home. Problem four - Once home we found that our coleslaw side was only 1/2 of a small container. Then came the chicken, two breasts, one thigh. one leg, three wings. WHAT - we were short one piece and had a wing substituted for another. PROBLEM FIVE - I want my other thigh and leg. This location may have been updated and redecorated both inside and out but the service stinks! Haven't had KFC in years and this is an interesting place. I have never seen a KFC with a buffet before. I guess during certain times you can get some kind of all you can eat buffet? The first time I came here I ordered a meal for my family. Personally I got a Georgia Gold chicken little to go cup. I got home and it was a chicken strip go cup and I had no sauce to dip it in. So I called and they put me in a replacement book. I come today and apparently they don't sell the GG Chicken Little Go Cup anymore and when I told them that I was just here a few weeks ago and ordered it and was on the replacement books, the lady got smart with me and told me how I need to come to the window and not order at the Drive-thru and everything I did wrong. This is probably the worst fast food restaurant in Shelbyville Kentucky ! The staff are very rude, in a hurry and doesn't care about needs or to make sure the order is right. Complaining to the manager doesn't help as she as well is rude and laughs everything off. The store is dirty , buffet items are cold and not attended too. Soda machines are out of carbonation every time I go. Sauces and silverware are never stocked and bathrooms are always disgusting. He was very generous with making sure we had everything we needed and very apologetic about having to wait in line longer than anticipated.
