The general manager & his staff here are amazing!the staff are personable and sweet. A lady was cleaning and she didn't get annoyed that I was walking around in there. We ordered on a busy New Year's Eve, and they had our meal to feed 8-10 quickly! I went in with a coupon, and he didn't bat an eye or treat us any differently using it. I'm super happy with the quality of food as well, hot and crispy. Their a&w root beer is a Godsend, it must be from heaven because it is divine! I came here with my Grandma for a quick bite to eat. Nikita (the counter person) had AMAZING work ethic and completely made our experience. She was nice and very helpful. Her patience with difficult customers (the family behind us) was very admirable. Not only was she up front at the counter taking orders, but she was also taking drive thru orders, helping make food and also putting it together in bags. Overall, we had absolutely amazing service. Stay away from this location at Bridgeport Way in Lakewood ,WA, just past the railroad tracks behind the U-Haul place and next to Church's Chicken at all costs. The food was terrible, and the price was too high ($45 for a small meal that would have been 50% less at another fast-food establishment; guess they trying to make up for lost revenue for being closed many times this past month of April 2021). No Covid-19 precautions were in place both in shop nor at register. Gloves and mask were not being used while handling foods and cash/cards. The lobby was closed and it looked like boxes were all over the floor and tables inside the lobby area. I waited for a total of 20 minutes from the time I placed my order till it came to my car after ordering and I was the only one there waiting - while I was waiting I seen 4 other cars come in, make an order, and leave the area before I got my order. I ordered the 10 piece dark meat chicken and the cashier insisted I take the meal deal for $4 more to include for nasty bland biscuits and 2 yucky sides ( have you tasted their awful biscuits and yucky mashed-potatoes? ). Hence, I didn't take the full meal, but did get charged the same price. I ordered, instead, 2 large French Fries ( I Like their fries [better than fries from most other fast food places], but this time around the fries were undercooked and became to mushy early on after the heat wore off). I have found out that this place was closed a few times up to a week perhaps from failing a county inspection; who knows - all I know it will be my final time to visit. My meal was wrong this evening. When I called I was placed on hold for 5 min. When I hung up I called back over the next 5 min on my drive back the KFC. Abrielle the lady at the drive thru (lobby is closed tonight) had nothing but attitude. She complained the whole time about being short staffed. When I told her that her tone was uncalled for I was a customer she got mad and told me not her fault. Then she told me she would correct my meal and slammed the window. She turned around and I could hear her talking shit about me to the other lady in the store. The other lady then throw my missing strips into a box and bag and came to the window throw it at me and said hears your food and slammed the window. I knocked and honked asking for the manager name. The other woman came locked the window and walked away. My uncle 56 with 10yr old mentality loves KFC. We visit this location at least 1 to 2 times a week for him. This was not ok.
