This review is for the KFC at 2581 E 120th ave in Thornton. I have ordered the Wednesday Chicken fried steak meal hundreds of times at this place. The new management will no longer let you substitute the cole slaw for mashed potatoes. if you prefer to do a substitution, the KFC at 108th and Washington and the one located at W 136th ave. still allow substitutions. The West 136th location is about the same distance for me. I will start patronizing them now. read more

Ordered a 12 piece and they were "Out of Stock." Imagine not having chicken at a chicken fast food place. Horrible.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. I ordered 3 chicken littles and they had asked us to pull forward to the parking spot 1-3 in front of the store. We had waited there for 20 minutes waiting for our food with nobody coming into the drive through.(mind you there was also only one other person waiting in the drive through before us). When we went inside to ask about our food they had it bagged waiting just talking to each other hanging out. Once we got into my car to eat and they were all cold already! Every time I go to KFC they seem to tell me they don't have chicken. I work late and get off at 830-9p. It has seriously been 8yrs since I came to KFC. Commercials!! Used to be very happy with this KFC. About a month ago, we ordered the full chicken bucket meal. Brought it home and found no utensils, condiments or napkins. Fine. We opened the bucket and saw 3 thighs 1 breast and of course 2 legs and 2 wings. My mother went into complain the next day and they said they will give her a credit next time she came in. We decided today to use our credit. She went in and they told her she would have to pay for the sides. Fine. When we opened the bucket, again, we got 1 breast, 3 thighs, 3 legs and 1 wing. We called and the manager said they must have mistaken a thigh for a breast. Folks, a breast is triangular, the thigh is square. Likely will never be back here again. Unbelievable. read more

My family and I really enjoy KFC, we went through the drive through and we waited 30 minutes just to get to get to the window, we were the 2nd car from the window. This location is and always has been a complete disgrace for a public fast food chain, rude managers, disgusting and dirty, a complete cluster at busy times. This location needs a remodel and a completely new crew, but even then it would take a lot to fix the image. We found this location about 2-3 years ago. It was so good I carved going back. But now...it is obvious a new manager is there. My order is never right going through the drive thru last couple times. Ordered chicken. Got no fork or napkins. How do you eat fried chicken without a napkin? Or mashed potatoes without a fork? My 5 year old grandson ordered fries and I think they were from the day before. He even said, the fries are always hard from that place. Will look for another one to go to. I'd give it zero if I could. I swore I would never go back to this place, but my husband wanted it and said they remodeled, so thought I'd give it a chance. While it was nice inside, it's no wonder this place was empty at 4 on a weekend. Table had a buildup of something that made me avoid it at all costs, they food didn't taste like KFC, the floor was a mess, and the employees were out of control. They were yelling back in forth between the dining area and kitchen. Cheryl probably should stop referring to herself in the third person since "no one is listening to her." 9-11-2021 was disrespected and treated very rudely by whoever the closing manager girl that was working that shift. They missed up my order when I called and told her she was ruder then rude and refused to give me her name. Refused to replace my bucket of chicken that they failed to pack correctly. She hung up on me twice and left the phone off the hook as if it was busy so I couldn't get through. The lights on the store were turned off 45 mins before they were even suppose to be closed. I even had to ask one of the employees that was seating out back, if they were even still opened. Pretty sure all the employees were seating out back. 1st time and WILL NOT be the last. Juanita was the nice lady that serves us and was exceptional. She turned down our tip offer, "I do this because I love it!" We couldn't decide so she suggested and made our experience fast (so important) and pleasurable. This lady gets it is like 2 diffe to planets from the one in Commerce City. I will be back and I will be offering her a job. I am in the service business and a published author in the field and she Gets it. This is so true, you can't teach someone to be that service oriented. They either have it, or they do not. She has it in bulk. I want to start this off with that I also work in customer service and I know customers/people can be rude and annoying But da 5 cars in the drive thru (I was one of the 5) I ordered a famous bowl...took 25 minutes. Didn't get my drink, went in to just get my cup....took another 20 minutes... There were 3 people in line! The couple at the counter were COMPLETELY ignored the whole 20 minutes I was there. The employees also were taking their sweet time, NO one was moving with ANY purpose. I finally walked past everyone and just took a cup off the counter by the register and left. 45 minutes it took to get a very small order. In 45 minutes there were a total of MAYBE, MAYYYBE, 10 orders. Get rid of everyone there, rehire a whole new team, and update the place, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite sometime. I have ordered delivery from this location several times. Food always arrives fresh and hot! Only one time has an order been wrong. I called the store and told them the problem. The employee, Dave that I talked to could not have been nicer. He admitted he was the one who got the order wrong and remedied the situation by telling me next time I order to call the store and they will throw the forgotten items in with the new order. Tonight I took them at their word. The woman who answered the phone was so pleasant, she said she was there the night of the mix up and apologized profusely. Badly run, i have had 3 out of 4 bad experiemces here in the past 2 yrs, out of CHICKEN once, overcooked and dry another (after complaining got free bucket on next trip), last night asked to wait....waited over 7 mins for my drive thru order to be taken, cars piled up behind started leaving), and lastly they must purposely breed extra small chickens because their drumsticks are half the size of king soopers homemade chicken! This by far is the worst off I have ever been to. We ordered a 16 pc extra crispy and got original recipe and all of it was dry and skin was missing. We placed an order at the drive through at this KFC during a time when the store wasn't busy. As a matter of fact, there were no other cars in the drive through at all. We placed a very simple order and the owner was the one filling the order. We had to make another stop before going home. When we did, I looked at the order and it was incorrect. We took the order back to the store and the owner assured us the order was then correct. After we got home, we discovered that the order was still not correct. In addition to the order not being correct the lemonade tasted like bad water. We called and the owner made excuses. This wouldn't have been so bad if this was the first time this happened, however, it wasn't. The time before this visit, the order was also not correct. We told them about the error and they just said that the order wasn't correct, but they hadn't charged for what we ordered and that was the end of that. There was no offer to let us pay the correct amount and get the correct order. Their attitude was just oh well. Again, this was a very simple order. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the KFC. read more

Purchased an eight piece chicken bucket and what did I get? One breast, three thighs, and FOUR wings. All this for $15.00 and change. This is not what I would expect for an eight piece bucket. Don't stop at this place EVER! Place was beyond dirty, walls, windows, trash cans, stuck to the floor while walking to sit down. Soda machine was so sticky of syrup was really bad, This was not even rush time or even busy. Had an A&W hamburger was the only thing that seemed right. To make matters worse, I went on line and filled out how my experience was. So I filled out all the information and told them what was wrong could of type more but just wanted to get out of that gross restaurant. I received a simple reply, not personal or to the fact what was wrong and if they are going to fix it. Then next I received a Voucher for $5.00 with the same writing from the email. WOW, no personal touch or follow up from a HUMAN. Is this how much the owners really care about their business and how it is ran! Oh the service window area to what I can see was so dirty no one takes the time to pickup, use cleaning sanitize or take a mop ( maybe they don't know what all that is ). BUYER BEWARE. Let me start by saying this place doesn't operate well and doesn't deserve the 1 star. This has happened more than once. You are guaranteed to have your order wrong. The staff don't seem organized as there's no coordination at this location. On my last visit they had patrons waiting 40+ minutes. I was willing to wait but after waiting 20 minutes for an order of cheese curds as it's a KFC/A&W I witnessed the prep guy handling food bare hand and wiped his eyes and continue handling food without washing his hands. I wasn't willing to put my health at risk so I requested a refund and also witnessed other folks doing the same.
