This place is absolute disgusting and dirty. They have the worst customer service and management. I highly recommend to never order anything online for pick-up or even go there for that matter because there's a good chance you're not going to get your food or receive a refund so it's pretty much a donation. Lazy thieves, been here several times and it's always a problem and will never go back again or to any kfc for that matter after how corporate handled my situation. Ordered online, $65 order, and then they tell me I cancelled my order so I left with no food but the money was taken out of my bank account and never refunded and had to file a fraud report at my bank.

I stopped in for a quick lunch today with a coworker. I ordered a mashed potato bowl and a small side of cole slaw. Everything was prepared accurately and it tasted great. Even better than the food was the service the lady provided who took my order. She was super friendly and personable. I noticed while eating that she was very fun with all of the customers including the ones who only spoke spanish. It was evident that Spanish was by no means a fluent language of hers but she made the best of it and was sure to accommodate all of the guests.

I ordered a four piece original recipe and got four pcs of BURNT chicken. I understand the pressure that management is under but service bad/old food to carryout or drive through customers is not cool. Nothing worse than getting to destination to find out your food is shit.

I want to support this business in my area, but I would like to see a positive change of cleanliness in the restaurant a clean front of the house will speak volumes on what's going on in the back of the house. Thanks!

No additional notes. * Menu Options: Good amount of options, for the food they specialize in. They offer a weekday lunch special which is very accommodating & a bang for your buck! * My Order: I ordered the lunch special, and I picked the Smoked wings (8 ct.). Which came with fries & I opt'ed for a water as my drink of choice & Spicy BBQ Sauce for a side of sauce. * Food Review: I wish the wings were a little bigger, they reminded me of party wings but the smoke on them were amazing! Some of the wings were a little heavy on the seasoning- good seasoning, just something I noticed. The Spicy BBQ Sauce had a great twang, & perfect amount of heat. Personally wish there was a hint of sweetness, but overall very good. Due to the wait, my wings were a little on the cooled side, my fries were luke warm, but still crispy. Would I visit Again/Recommend this place?: Yes, I'd visit again, But I'll make sure to call ahead to place my order if the waiting time will continue to be that amount of time. I let one of my coworkers try a smoked wing, and she really liked them. I would recommend this spot, & I have no problems letting people know about this place.

They're usually closed the days that I'm in the Upper Marlboro area, but not this time! It's in the same Plaza as the Amish market, so there's plenty of parking. I stepped inside and there were a couple of chairs for waiting along the window. Otherwise, it's a small open space and there are desserts on display, I'm in you to read, and very polite staff behind the counter. I decided to get the blackened salmon and shrimp entree with collard greens and mac and cheese. I got their salts at caramel banana pudding for dessert. I decided to use my insulated bag and wait until I got to my friend's house to eat. I love the shrimp and the salmon. They were seasoned well, but not to a point of tasting too salty, which can happen at a lot of soul food restaurants for me. Unfortunately, despite the good flavor, this was the case with the collard greens, whew. Also, there is turkey in there, so don't get it as a vegetarian option! The mac and cheese was good... Not sure where I would put it in my rankings, but I enjoyed it. That banana pudding.... Whoa. It was the perfect dessert, and I would happily get it again. The salted caramel and banana balance surprisingly well. Their top rankings are well deserved, and I am looking forward to trying their wings and other items next time!

The food looked delicious, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. My only disappointment was that they had run out of potato salad, which was the one thing I was craving! The mango lemonade was good too a little on the sweeter side so you definitely need some ice. The ambiance was okay, and while nothing really stood out about it, the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely go back and try a full platter next time. Overall, based on what I had, I'd say it's worth giving a try!

It's set up like an indoor Farmer's Market, so prepare to pay for each area separately. The actual venue isn't anything special- you can tell the floors are old. At the front of the Market there's a stuffed pretzel section, however they only take cash for this area. Everywhere else I went they accepted credit cards. Looking forward to going back and trying the stuffed pretzels. I also noticed they had a sign for unlimited pancakes on certain days. I would be interested in trying those for sure based on the quality of food I got. The bakery items and meats I bought were thorough.

You grab a ticket to place your order, and things move quickly. Keep in mind there are extra charges for bags and card use. Cash is recommended, though cards are accepted at most stations (except the pretzel and ice cream lines). There is an ATM on-site. Note: The market is only open Thursday-Saturday, so plan ahead!

We placed our entree orders after 25min of being seated. While waiting for about 40min, a severe storm started to form. At this point, we were ready to leave due to the long food wait but decided to get our food to go. Stood at the bar area for an additional 20min for our food. My crab cake platter was missing the side rice. So had to wait additional 10min for that. Mind you this was karaoke night (2nd & 4th Thursdays) about 3 ppl performed. I think the staff was overwhelmed due to the busy crowd. But to wait over an hour for food and STILL had to get it to go is crazy. And on top of that, menu states if you order ahead they charge 15% fee. Ppl probably prefer to take out because service and wait. Please do better because we don't have many local options in upper Marlboro. Updated: Once I got home, I noticed there was no salad dressing for my side salad and no sauce for my crab cake as requested. I was there few weeks ago sat outside and could've gave it 4 stars that day. Different waiter as well.
