Not sure what they are doing here. It is a Taco Bell KFC. They are not good at either. I can't tell you how the food is because I never received any. We were traveling and placed an order through the KFC app. Arrived at the restaurant and they refused to give us our food as the prices on the KFC app are "not what we charge in the store." Worse - they would NOT refund our money. So they STOLE $40+ and DID NOT GIVE US OUR ORDER. I've never seen such horrible service in my life. If they have an issue with KFC corporate, it's not my problem as the customer. I placed an order, paid for it, and never got the food or my money back. 2 is super generous. The restaurant and bathroom were a mess. They had one girl working counter and drive thru. That's tough. I ordered a 3 pc chicken tender and mashed potatoes. So I thought I had the wrong order initially. The tenders were over cooked or sitting under lamps for a while. They weren't gross but other KFCs have been much better. The mashed and gravy was really just gravy with very little potato. Understaffing makes employees irritable. The manager or owner obviously lived next door. The grounds around restaurant were gross. this lady was so rude she had made a huge scene screaming at us about her not charging our cups and made it seem like we stole the cups, she even had to count a guys chicken to see if they were right when they had them on the table with them. KFC like any successful chain relies on consistency of products to keep its customers coming back. A KFC in Colorado should taste the same as one on New York City. What was being sold here had no connection to KFC anywhere I've ever been. The pieces were fried in what tasted like reused old vegetable oil. There was absolutely no kfc seasoning or flour coating to the pieces. Looked as though the pieces had come straight out of a plastic bag and into the deep fryer. I would equate the taste to that of a crappy truck-stop offering. Absolutely no, repeat no KFC original seasoning/flour coating. None. Only over cooked greasy chicken skin. This is the worst KFC I have ever been to. The food was disgusting, cold, seemed like it had been sitting out for hours. I was almost afraid to eat it for fear of getting food poisoning. Unfortunately it's one of the only food places for miles and I was traveling quite a bit. The staff were extremely rude. Also, no one was wearing a mask. The staff had masks pushed down below their chin. Trash was over flowing. Save your time and deal with the hunger until the next food destination. This location needs to be shut down. First time coming and it was so worth it! Just incredibly beautiful and really neat to see the dunes right up against the snow-capped mountains. A sight that pictures really don't do justice. We came in late April and there were no crowds, the winds were strong on some days, and the temperature ranged in the 50's but we came prepared with supplies and clothes, so we were fine to fully enjoy the park even with the temps and winds. This is somewhere you definitely have to be prepared with clothing and supplies because the nearest stores are in Alamosa, and the temperatures as well as the winds can change drastically throughout the day. We didn't get far trying to climb the Dunes but we still had fun! Would definitely revisit! read more

Tenders were way overcooked and look nothing like the picture on the menu. The new chicken sandwich bun was squished flat. My cookie pkg was IN my mashed potatoes. But the worst part was the filth. Filthy door as we came in.....to the point you hesitated to touch it ; outside windows with possible drinks thrown on them and not cleaned. The floors were dirty ; the drink area with straw wrappers all over and it looked like it hasn't been cleaned; spilled soda puddles on the floor. Don't try it! Bathrooms were sick..... The chicken was dehydrated and old... we ordered a side of coleslaw, and somehow they changed it. I asked the Lady about it and she looked the order up and said we did not order it, and a guy came out of the back to back her up on that. I thought it was weird that they were arguing over a cup of coleslaw, you would have thought I was trying to rob the place but in the long run, maybe it was a blessing in disguise, if the coleslaw was in the same condition as the rest of the food it's probably good that we didn't try it. I had asked for ketchup, and they never got it for us, and ignored us so I saw some right behind the counter, and I took a step towards the bin to try to get some but I was almost attacked !! Very overpriced also and we ended up throwing some of it away because it was just terrible.
