I watched my best friend suffer through what if this agency had been a person would have been an abusive relationship. One of those relationships were everyone else can see the abuser is a self-serving tease with a knack for demolishing self-esteem and objectivity. As with most staffing firms, they promise a lot, talk themselves and you up at first. They even managed to get my friend a decent first assignment. Seemed promising. The recruiter was prompt and made him feel quite employable and able to move up and into something permanent soon. Well, things really soured. He was suddenly passed from agent to agent. His e-mails were ignored. His statement he needed out of a truly awful temp assignment was given lip service then ignored for weeks. In fact, it seemed more like they were manipulating him to stay in it while telling the company not to consider him for something perm because he did not like it there --- hmmmm, let's take the one thing that might have made him consider staying in the position, benefits and an increased role, and blow it. The kick in the teeth and the one star rating, however, was the treatment he received when he gave notice as he found something else on his own. Suddenly, he received a call and e-mail from his lately mute yes-man that actually had a tone of contempt he had not contacted them first as they supposedly had been working hard to find him something. With all of the lay offs at my -to be unmentioned- office my group really had stuff stacked up. Nothing hard, just the tedious stuff that could be put off, and was. Asked HR about getting someone in on a temp basis, and basically heard squat, but my boss said I could find someone myself. Went with KForce because they placed my roommate at JP Morgan and she's been there for like 3 years now. They sent over this little spark plug right out of school that was lite on experience, but had good skill and was a fast learner. She cranked out all the stuff in 2 months (!!) but since we had her for 3, we had her partner on with some of our audit guys projects. Time and time again they waste my time here in Sunrise FL. At least 3 times a year I get a call and an email from one of their so called professional recruiters. I call back and reply to the email and then nothing. Radio silence. They I do a follow up and nothing, radio silence. The recruiting process is broken and in many ways this is a prime example. Recruiting is sales, sales is relationship building. Almost no so called recruiter understands this concept. Many are just out of school and new to the workplace and can't find a decent job so the irony is, these so called recruiters are supposed to help others find work ? I have also asked them to remove me from their system...They can't even do that! read more

I've work with Kforce before and the person I worked with Scott was great but that was about 3 years ago. When I go to them this year, its horrible. The person I worked with had totally forgot what I want in a job. She would push to send me to job because its a great company, but once I'm in the interview I realize this is nothing like what i ask for. It was a waste of time for the employer and me. Then I would get phone call and emails about totally irrelevant position. she start of the phone conversation with, i know this is not what you want but do you know anyone. Excuses me, but if you know this is not what i want, why call me!!! To prep for my interview, she would simply tell me to read the general interview info and tell me to be confident. she provide nothing for me, no background on my interviewers or the position. she would call me after interview not interest in how i did or my questions, but asking me what questions did they ask me. probably to provide to other candidates. They lack knowledge of the industry. From the 1st time I saw them their information is suspect. I go in there and was told there are plenty of jobs in my industry. Yet every week when I check there is nothing. I get an apology and thats it. And today finally after one year of looking she is going to look in regular Staff Accounting jobs for me. And the big break I was told to sign up for refresher classes or even get recertified in Accounting. If she told me from day one that would have been more helpful. And by the time that's finished in a year or two there will be jobs everywhere. read more

My Kforce recruiter is excellent. He cares just as much for his consultants as he does finding the perfect fit for his client(s). Very professional. Very up to date. Worst place to work for H1b/F1 and foreign consultants I had very bad experience working with kforce for all following reasons - 1) If you are indian like me on f1 or h1b visa, dont get under trap of kforce. There are way better consultant companies like cyberthink, mastech etc. 2) Main and major reason I didnt like kforce is that they are not transparent with employees. They are not telling me how much client is paying them. Also, they dont have fixed percentage like system like 75-25 where employee gets 75%. 3) They tricked me under their terms and conditions. They asked me how much annual salary I want. I asked for 100k. I thoughts its 100k with w2 SALARY. But it was W2 hourly and I had to pay for my benefits n all which was $750/months. When I asked they said they cant change. I asked for client change, they said u have to stay for minimum 6 months etc b****it. Even I didnt get paid for national holidays. 4) Green card. They say they will start after 3 months. But after 3 months, they start process which takes around 12 more months for actually filing I140. For other companies this period is roughly around 7 months. They try to extend as much as possible so that they can earn more from u. So my kind advice will be dont join kforce if you are looking for h1 transfer or green card. read more

I haven't worked for them for over a year but they have cost me thousands of dollars and have such horrible record-keeping, they are screwing up my background check for a new job. After having conversation she asked my name and asked me to hold. i waited for twenty min but she never got back to me so i decided to call her back but she hung up on me. I never actually met anyone from this staffing firm, they actually just called me off my resume and wanted to submit my resume to a company in Worcester, which I was fine with since I was job hunting. (This was about a year ago, so maybe they've changed their process with interviewing). They emailed me a packet of paperwork to fill out and then told me they'd get back to me with a response soon. I never heard back if the company was interested in my resume, so I didn't have a great experience with this. Suggestion to management: share feedback with people that you make phone calls too, it goes a long way. read more

KForce Professional Staffing is far from professional, a Courtney kept calling my current employer looking for a background check with my boss. #1 I never gave anyone at Kforce references to call for a reference check on me or even gave anyone PERMISSION to call #2 I never worked with anyone at KForce (maybe 2 at most emails back and forth) about a job and it never went any further than that because I WASNT interested in the position they were telling me about. Courtney and Samantha Leoni from KForce started calling my office looking for the CFO of my company on Monday and finally by Thursday I asked what the phone call was about and they said they were looking to do a reference check on someone and I asked who and it was MY NAME! Completely blew my mind. Thank god I'm the person who answers the phones for my boss because they were calling my current employer and my boss has no idea that i'm looking for other employment. KForce could've gotten me in big trouble or even fired and questioned about my job search because they are SNEAKY, UNPROFESSIONAL and SHADY business people. There are a million staffing agencies in the Boston area if I were you work with an agency that is honest and more professional not someone who is looking to get ahead by going behind someone's back. read more
