Our washer started becoming unbalanced during the cycles no matter how little clothes were in it. I attempted the calibration setting on the machine but it did not help the issue. Being new to the East Cobb area, my husband and I googled appliance repair for our washer and came across KG Appliance. I submitted a request (which was super simple and fast!) on the website on Wednesday night and not expecting to hear back for a couple days. Kyle contacted me the following morning and stated that he would be able to do a house call that same day (Thursday) after his other appointments. He arrived at 4:35 and was able to diagnose that our machine needed new tension rods- which he had in his van! Woke up to a puddle of melting ice from my LG refrigerator. Found Kyle here on Yelp and decided to give him a shot. He was on a job not to far from me and was able to come by fairly quickly. It was my compressor, which apparently is a common thing on LGs. Kyle said he could fix it the next day, but told me to call LG since there was a chance I could still be under the 5 year warranty for this problem. In the meantime, I found a new LG on sale and asked Kyle if it would be worth it to buy new or have him repair. He said buy new, even knowing that it would cost him the repair money. This is why he gets 5 stars!! Kyle is an honest appliance repairman, something hard to find even here on Yelp! In the end, I was still under warranty and LG will handle my issue. A quick follow up on the stove...a story with a happy ending!! Kyle from KG Appliance is a true professional, honest, communicative and super helpful! He diagnosed the issue with our Jenn Aire stove on his initial visit and then, instead of charging us for more follow-up visits, he guided me though a very doable, DIY fix! There were texts, support calls and more, all through which he followed through and was always available. He was amazing and saved us a whole lot of expense as well as our pricey Jenn Air stove. The stove is now as good as new, and at a fraction of the cost! One of our neighbors experienced a similar issue, and ended up replacing his entire stove. I found Kyle through others referrals. He is honest, hardworking, and cares about his work. I am also a small business owner that found the right path is not to be consumed in being the "biggest" or "fastest" to get a job. But to try your hardest to do the job right...even if it requires making a return trip to make sure things are running like they should. Kyle worked on both my washer and dryer. Not sure why the review says I'm in CA; I'm in Marietta, GA. Called yesterday for a quote on my noisy washing machine. Kyle got back to me within 15 minutes, set up an appointment for today, showed up on time and was done in an hour. He gave me a range of things that could be wrong and was right the first time. My OLD dryer quit working - sometimes I could dry a load, other times, the drum would start, then stop immediately.
