Paul came to check out my refrigerator which I was guessing the compressor died. Coming over he quoted $95 to just come out to diagnose, however if you went with him he would take that price off of the service cost. He quoted that just changing the compressor would be $850 ($95 off from the service charge), and that is if the compressor was provided by LG (Linear Compressor) through the manufacturer warranty which covered 6-10 years if it died. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He stated that he would do all of the calling for the warranty and getting it approved, so that was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, he said if it was not covered under warranty it would be an additional $400. So in total, he could have charged $1250 for a compressor change. Paul definitely charges on the high end of changing compressors, however his work that he provided was good. Note though, I think even though Paul changed my compressor, I think I'll still look for a new fridge just because I don't know when the compressor will die again. I thought the price was a little high, but since he was there and of the raving reviews, I decided to just go with Paul. Paul came through and fixed it on the agreed time and got it all done. I came back from a trip on a Sunday and my wife told me the dishwasher wasn't working. It has a cryptic E13 error. This is a Bosch dishwasher which has a sensor that turns off the dishwasher if there is a leak, ie, there was water accumulating below the tub. Paul is awesome! Last Saturday I hosted the after party for my best friends 40th birthday. I woke up the next a.m. to a completely unattached mullion (the flap between two fridge doors that apparently aids in sealing and cooling the fridge). It was so broken that my Thermador fridge thought the door was open and wasn't cooling the fridge or freezer, and after a certain amount of time thinking it was left open, was even powering down. I reached out last Sunday to an appliance company I'd previously worked with on my vent hood. A week later and I still haven't heard back from them... Monday morning as I was freaking out that I needed to toss my entire fridge and freezer contents, I reached out to Paul at 7:24 a.m. and had a response from Paul by 7:30 a.m. He was at my house by 1 pm that day, communicating prior on his ETA, ordering a part within an hour for a rush delivery and came back Wednesday afternoon. He also removed the broken mullion allowing the fridge to think it was closed and return to not only cooling itself but producing ice. Throughout the process, Paul kept me updated as to whether or not the part shipped out Monday (spoiler it did not), when it was tracking to arrive Wednesday and what time he could come by for installation. To further complicate the situation, I was leaving town Wednesday morning to go meet my mom for a girls trip. Paul seamlessly worked with my neighbor who was going to be around to let him in the house for the repair. Overall, entire experience was 10/10 and while I hopefully won't need a huge repair like that again, I'll be calling Paul for my next applicance issue! read more

I recently had issues with my washing machine and refrigerator. The first issue was regarding acquiring a second opinion on my GE washing machine. I called and spoke to Paul.
