You do not need a Costco card to buy liquor here! I do not recommend driving here because it is tucked in the Costco parking lot, but it is a great walk close to the water and a sculpture park. This store is always super clean and is not ever super busy so you can get in and out quickly. They have a large selection with large quantities so it is a great place to stop for a party. I think their prices are fairly low and they do have different promos often. I love their gift bags/boxes, advent calendars, etc. for the holidays. They have tastings almost every afternoon! The staff is very knowledgable and our favorite person is the person with the colored hair, she is so nice! read more

4.5 stars. went here for costco and stumbled upon this shop. This place doesn't have the greatest wine selection, but what they do offer is solid value for some select wines. You can find some Mondavi here for under $10, an Argentenian Malbec for less than $10, and some higher end stuff in the $40-$50 range that is still a good deal. Until a BevMo (http://www.bevmo.com) or something like it pops up around these parts, it's here where I'll find my reasonably priced liquors and wines. KH&H and its pseudo forgettable name often gets mistaken as being part of the Costco lineup. The good news is there is no Costco membership required to enter and the even better news is their selection is as stellar as they come. The staff know their stuff. Call ahead of time and see if there is something they carry and they'll happily quote you over the phone. This may not seem like a big deal, but many local area liquor stores will just tell you to come over without revealing the price. They'll also help you load trays / cases of liquor if needs be and are very good about keeping the lines at a minimum. One would be hard pressed to find cheaper prices than what KH&H is sportin'. Chances are they are $1 or less of a difference compared to your favorite affordable liquor spot. I've been pleased with a lot of the purchases I've made here, which has mainly been in wines, vodkas, tequilas, and rums. There is no beer here, which is a bit of a drag. Lastly, the parking situation is no issue. Sometimes it's hard to find parking at small stores without a lot, but sharing one with Costco ensures that getting in and out of here is a cinch. read more

For those of you from Texas or California, you probably have been to Costcos in NY and other states and wonder where the booze is. Seeing this store attached to a Costco can be a little misleading since it's not run by Costco, however, their prices are VERY competitive. You can usually tell if it's a Costco store if they sell Kirkland branded giant size bottles of vodka, tequila or bourbon. I noticed stuff here for way cheaper than what I could get at my local liquor store. Just be careful though, glass bottles can break and carting the stuff home on the bus and subway gives you many chances to break the bottles of happy juice. read more

Not run by Costco but attached in the same complex, this was a quick and dirty liquor shop that supplied some unusual picks and the classic ones - they often have vendors come in and set up little displays, especially during the holidays. Custom-engraved bottles of alcohol for all! No Costco card needed - but you do have to brave the Costco parking lot. Busy inside and not a clear path to the cashiers, but everyone seemed happy and simple. read more

This liquor store is located inside the Costco facility. Some of the price here is good but some is a bit higher. Their selection is also pretty good. Large selection of wine & decent selection of hard liquor. If you're looking for a bottle of Dom Perignon, the price here is $145.99. Not the best price we found but it's a pretty good price compare to most liquor stores that we went to. You don't need to be a Costco member to shop here. If you're looking for a liquor spot that's as competitive as Trader Joe's but without the trek into the city, then look no further. Deceivingly attached to the Costco in Astoria, this liquor store really isn't run the same. You DON'T need a Costco membership to shop here. They've got their liquor in normal consumable amounts as opposed to the Kirkland house brand handles of various liquors that's typically too much (not for Costco shoppers apparently). I am a customer of the liquor store starting when Costo opened in Enfield several years ago. I am always returning the bottle deposit and yesterday a rude employee told me that he cannot accept the deposit because there was a residue of liquid at the bottom of the bottles. UNBELIVABLE! This is a secret in Queens liquors...best prices, not always what you're looking for, but if you're looking to stock a bar and you're an aspiring cocktail mixer (everyone says bartender or mixologist, I don't wanna be douchey) like me, then this is a nice place. There's honestly a 40 dollar difference in between a fifth of Gentleman Jack and a store I went to in the city...it's like that. GOOD PRICES AT WHOLESALE. The kicker you do not need a cosco card to get into this place. Most people think that you do when you don't. The bigger jack daniels is way cheaper then it is in a regular store. They also have a great wine selection.Great place for a drinker on a budget. The hours aren't all that great on the weekends they close at 6pm I can understand a Sunday closing that early but a Saturday? I bet they would make more money if they closed at 11pm on Saturdays I know I would walk on over if they did. read more

Absolutely in love with this place!! Let it be known, the prices here are so good, you might just have to visit AA, besides the fact that they actually have alcohol tastings while you shop. Interesting bottles that you won't find in many corner liquor shops and amazing prices. Everything from tequila, to wines, to cognac. This place really has a great variety. In the holidays, they bring their gift packs which are usually the same price as the bottle but come with a gift! These make for great Christmas presents that they will be willing to share and will put a smile on anyone's face! Awesome service, great prices! read more

OMG this liquor store is great! Huge selection and cheap prices. I just discovered it the other day since it's next door to Costco and I drunkenly decided to buy a Costco membership on Living Social. Just what a single person living alone in NYC needs, mass quantities of crap! Haha, oh well! I will probably use the Costco as an excuse to come get booze here. Next door to Costco. A Costco membership is not required! Came on a Sunday and left feeling great. Free drinks can always cheer up your day. They had 2 tables on each of the aisles with samples. No frills quick and to the point. They have your basic necessities and great prices. Definitely check it out before you head to Costco, that place is a gives me anxiety. read more

I would not be engaging in hyperbole if I were to say they do indeed have the best prices in town. Yes, at times Trader Joe's wines may have some things you can't find in other places and Lowery and 5 Star Liquors in Woodside rarely disappoints but this place has the best prices in Queens. That being said, the Westbury Liquors shop next to the Glen Cove Costco is at times better. Case in point, large Chivas Regal scotch is $59.99 here whereas you can buy it for $56.99 out in the sticks. read more

If you're a large non-profit government entity, like a school, don't ever go here! They used to be really great with accepting our tax exemption form but are now asking for a tax exemption card. If you've ever worked for a government agency or large corporation getting something like that is impossible. They also have no computer system for customers to create accounts where they can verify tax exemption status. During the whole process of trying to figure out how we could actually purchase the items we needed with this new rule the manager was very rude almost aggressively and impolite.
