Lately, I don't usually write reviews, but KH Cinnamon Donuts definitely deserves it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is the real deal--no frills, just amazing donuts made right. The cinnamon donuts are absolutely next level--fresh, warm, perfectly soft on the inside with just the right amount of sweetness and that classic cinnamon sugar coating that hits every time. What I really appreciated is the consistency. Every donut tastes like it was just made, not sitting around all day. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Service is friendly and quick, and the prices are more than fair--especially for the quality you're getting. This is the kind of spot you want to keep to yourself, but it's too good not to share. This is one of those places where you cannot judge a book by its cover. I don't think I would've stopped by if I hadn't seen good reviews and if my husband hadn't heard good things about it as well. It's not in the greatest area and it's a little hidden away, but the doughnuts are really fresh and pillowy soft! The man working behind the counter (who I'm assuming was the owner) is also so sweet and kind. Completely underrated donut shop. The Donuts are on par with dad's in burbank. But they also have other food and the fresh pressed juice is amazing. Friendly people working the counter. Can easily pay with a credit card too... The retro outside is really cool, I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad to find a classic donut shop that still holds up and is super tasty. My first visit to KH Cinnamon Donut, a great experience! I was in the area for work, my colleagues and I were conducting a training down the street. I do this all over the Western US for my company and purchasing donuts is a part of our best practice. I met one of the owners, a lovely woman who was engaging and clearly loved what she does. She quickly picked 2 dozen assorted donuts for me then bagged up a couple of singles for me. They were terrific! The customers loved them, ate all of them. I left one of her brochures behind, I hope she gets more business from it. Great shop, great food and very nice owners. Just stopped by this afternoon since it was nearby where I was at. Simple sandwiches, but good taste and good price. Got a medium smoothie, also good. This medium looks like a large. I'll take it. Also got a donut. Which was still soft, despite almost being 5pm. So that was a nice tasty surprise. So exceeded expectations for a random stop at a donut shop late in the afternoon. Check out this little hole in the wall donut shop! First, the sign says K-H Cinnamon Donuts (not K A). It does t look like much from the outside. Reminds me of the mom & pop businesses that you find in small town Kansas or Missouri. But...the coffee was rich and the donuts were really fresh. I picked an old school sugar raised twist. Light as air! Im so glad today wasn't a day I decided to "eat clean." A small thing for most that's a big thing for me since I became lactose intolerant...flavored non dairy creamer. Coffee purists may scoff, but for this gal who used to drink her coffee half cream half coffee, the non dairy option is welcome. Here's the bonus...the cashier we got was a delight. When I mentioned how good the coffee was, she said "Then we're your new favorite shop and you'll come all the time now!" Here's the thing...it wasn't a sales ploy. It wasn't a script. She meant it. Second review for this place in two weeks. Why? Because this place is awesome. Today the husband and I got a #7 (egg cheese bacon on a bagel) and a #8 (egg cheese sausage on a bagel) and split them. Both were great. $5.00 for an egg sandwich? YESSSSSS PLEASE! Also tried the cinnamon roll. Took it home, heated it in the microwave for 20 seconds, and enjoyed the deliciousness. I came into this doughnut shop thinking that I'd have a good experience (which I unfortunately did not). I chose the ham n cheese off of their menu selection and took it on the go. I was eating it on my way to work (by the way I'm wearing a tight and sleek ponytail with all of my hair pushed back). Then on my third bite into the sandwich, in between the bite (as I'm pulling away from the sandwich) a dark and coarse hair comes pulling out of the sandwich. I was relying on my breakfast, as anyone who works in the morning, to get my day started. I will never be returning to this doughnut shop and do not recommend anyone does... I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. The over easy eggs are ACTUALLY over easy. The bacon is amazing. The bagels are fresh. And they make a KILLER lunch sandwich too. I'd also recommend the Iced coffee with vanilla creamer. Better than Starbucks. And don't even get me started with the donuts. Amazing. And they're on Uber Eats which is a HUGE bonus because even though I work close by it's hard to leave during the day. I love this place! read more
