I personally don't care much about Jamba Juice. I will tell you why. To me, their juices are way too sour for my liking. They sell smoothies, Açaí bowls, and bites. They also have smoothies add protein bowls, and snacks which is perfect not only for kids but for adults as well. Walked in around 9:15 am and got a very nice greeting from 2 of their employees. It took me a minute to decide what I wanted to get and I went with their Green juice with added Whey protein. Gave me a good boost and energy after a good workout. I also got a smoothie with Strawberry and Mango. It was a bit sweet, but I liked it. Place is nice, big, clean and has parking and a gender neutral restrooms. Will return next time to try their Açaí bowls with some toppings. read more

After all that walking, I needed a little smoothie to pick me up and Jamba Juice did not disappoint. It was such a quick experience. I loved it, especially after all the long lines I had to go through at Universal. I was able to get my green juice with added whey protein and it literally gave me the boost to keep going in for the rest of the day. The staff was super nice and sweet being incredibly helpful. Great juices, smoothies, and, as I found out on this trip, Acai bowls! On my way to the gym, I got an email from Jamba that said they were doing $5 acai bowls that day - what?!? My wife and I headed down there to get some bowls. Inside, the vibe is pretty cool, with a fun mural on the wall. There are always a bunch of people there after or before their workout (the gym's right next door), which was the case for us too. We found out it was the small acai bowl for $5 or the larger one for $7, so we decided to treat ourselves and get the larger size. I had the acai bowl with peanut butter and banana, and she had the traditional one. Both were delish and super fresh. Service was helpful, and the food was out within 4 minutes. Jamba has let me down... The drinks are still good, but they no longer sell kids drinks. Huge bummer because my kids love Jamba, but now they don't sell it. We need to buy a large and split it into two cups, which is okay; they will do it, but then that means both kids need to agree to the same drink, which, believe me, they don't, so it does not work out very well. Do not go to this location or the Encino one. Both are franchise owned and the owner Charlie Landon is terrible. He cares more about protecting his product than making sure customers are satisfied. The manager at the North Hollywood location, Crystal, is just as bad. She is rude, passive aggressive, and clearly unhappy in her role. She operates with the same poor attitude as the GM who openly admitted he trained her. That explains why the customer service is consistently awful. I was also overcharged and when I brought it up Charlie refused to issue a refund because he claimed the product was already used. That is unacceptable. Bottom line: avoid this location and the Encino one if you do not want to deal with horrible service from both Crystal and the GM Charlie Landon. read more

Crystal is amazing! After the Jamba app (which isn't great) mistakenly ordered my drink to the wrong location, she made the same drink and called the other store to request a refund for me. When I stopped in, they had just received several online orders with only one person working at that time. I haven't been to Jamba Juice in years, but since it was hot and I can walk to this place, summer cooling was calling! So Jamba Juice was calling! This location is big, clean, airy, has a few tables where you can enjoy your food and drinks. I got their parmesan pretzel, always solid. My husband tried the Strawberry Surf Rider, kinda on the lemony side, just OK. I got the Carribean Passion, perfect for a hot summer day! Customer service isn't the best here, they gave my husband a pretzel, then they gave me (while my husband was in the restroom which you can access by asking a code) another one, they took it back because it belonged to another customer, bit of a mess. Manager on site 06/28 10:30pm does not know how to do her job . I've gone to countless Jamba juices with the fundraiser card I got from my little brother and she would not enter the discount in to the system kept telling me that I had to go online when out of the dozen of times I've gone to Jamba Juice in Burbank , West Hollywood and here they did not give me any issues all they did was take the card had someone help them enter the code in and poke a hole. And pretty quick and accurate as far as getting orders out.*** Easily over 100+ visits at this particular location, a As I frequent the gym right next to it. My order usually always stays the same. Staff is always very courteous very helpful, even with specific custom orders. And generally not the place where you would tip often or and or frequently, but considering I attend the location so much And personally have worked behind counter service before, I've always try to tip at least a buck or two. Not much but hey... That being said, this particular evening, I forgot my milk from home, and as it's happened before in the past, I came over to Jamba juice to ask to buy a cup of milk. Mind you, I've done this MULTIPLE TIMES in the past. On more than just one occasion. (This location is directly next to the 24 Hour fitness, and a lot of gym goers frequent here and I needed the milk for a protein shake. Irrelevant but felt like that piece of information was needed to clarify why I was asking to buy milk in the first place. Lol) The manager on duty, Kate, was asked by another employee if he could do it, and she quickly and promptly said no without even consideration. Again this threw me off at its been allowed multiple times before, and it's never been a problem, and they usually just charge it for a small juice usually comes out to about three to four dollars. I then asked her personally what's the reasoning and why she couldn't, and her only response in a very short and unfriendly matter, was that I would have to buy a full price smoothie and she would just substitute everything out for milk. Now I don't know about anybody else, but if you work in the food industry, you know a full price smoothie with all its components does not equal to a 10-12oz of milk. She basically was trying to charge me an $8 glass of milk. I kinda laughed and asked if she was serious. I said fine and felt slighted, but thought maybe it was just me. And ultimately just left the store. As I walked out the store, a customer who had ordered right before me was also walking out and said so himself that that was ridiculous and she seems to have an attitude with a lot of people as he also felt slighted as if Kate gave him attitude as well. And whether or not it was attitude or said with a certain tone, customer service inside of the food industry, for the most part, should be met with a smile on your face and if anything comes up with a customer and their requests, it should be done concisely, and amicably. Again, for someone who frequents this location so much, highly surprised at that particular mood/attitude tonight. read more
