While waiting for a pickup at Burbank Airport, I decided to visit The Juice Parlor for a healthy morning snack. Upon entry, I was greeted by a super friendly young woman who welcomed me to the store and walked me through questions I had about the menu offerings. While asking her favorite blended drink, she gave me a few of the most frequently ordered drinks from customers and then told me her personal favorite was the Faster Stronger (Coconut Water, Açaí, Banana, Goji-Berry, Blueberry, Plant Protein, Flaxseed, Cinnamon, Almond Butter). After looking at the colorful menus and taking her recommendations, I decided on the 20-ounce Faster Stronger smoothie. Within minutes, the small place (set up as a counter grab-and-go with a solo table outside) filled up with about half a dozen people ready to order or pick up their drinks. The atmosphere was fast and furious with the buzz of blenders in the air. My drink was prepared within a few minutes. I thanked the hardworking staff and took off, ice cold purple drink in hand. The smoothie itself was a good size for the price ($11.25) and was amazingly blended and perfectly balanced in flavor. Not too sweet, but just right. The combo of the berries with the cinnamon was delicious. I also loved the added plant protein boost. Extremely healthy and tasty! There are many healthy offerings and a ton of seasonal favorites on a rotating chalkboard menu. This storefront also has quite a few parking spaces out front as well as nearby street parking adjacent to the storefront. If you are in North Hollywood near the Burbank Airport, The Juice Parlor is a fantastic place to order healthy and flavorful smoothie, juice and bowl options. The size of this is quite generous making it a good brunch meal. I liked how thick the acai was since they blended it fresh. It did not have an overpowering banana or almond butter taste. I used to love this place, but lately the new staff either seem lazy or just don't know how to do their job. I found several ice cubes in my açaí bowl, and when I gave it another try by ordering a smoothie, the spinach wasn't blended properly. I'm not sure if it's their blender, if they're not measuring ingredients correctly, or if they're not letting it blend long enough. This is a cute little juice bar in the middle of a couple smoke shops in noho. The location is very small and you'll miss it if you don't slow down, it sits right in the corner and parking is a hit or miss. There are a very limited amount of parking spots for around 10 shops. Lots of shops, limited parking. It's a little pricey, I ordered a medium drink and a small drink and it came in around $26 with tax and tip. The juices are good, they were exactly what I ordered, you could taste a little of everything. Service was super friendly and helpful. read more

Dealt with a bad flu this past week, couldn't eat anything and tired of taking medicine so I send hubby to pick up some juice. I've always seen this place because we often get tacos from the same plaza but never got a chance to stopped by. I solely believe the juice brought me back to life. My hubby went with the recommendation from the staff brought it back home to me I took the first sip and I knew it was going to make me feel better. And it definitely did! Can't tell you what the inside looks like because I was laying half dead at home lol but the juice was fresh. A lot of place I have tasted put a lot of water in there but not this place. Decided to come here for a smoothie today. I had the matcha power smoothie and it's pretty good. The prices are pretty high, but the smoothie is good. My only complaint is that the two women working there were not friendly at all. In fact, one of them just straight out seemed annoyed and it just made me uncomfortable. Very disappointed in the juice parlor today. I've ordered COUNTLESS times from them, always through the Yelp app for takeout so I can just swing by and pick it up. Yelp had said they were open and I was able to order for takeout on the app. Like usual it gives an estimated time for pick up. I decide to head there a bit early for parking since the parking lot can sometimes be packed. I waited about 15 mins, was alerted that it was ready... Just to walk up and see they were closed! I ended up having to call grub hub support to cancel my order. Not sure why I was able to order if they were closed, so assuming someone messed up. Just my opinion Location: It is nice, but the parking isn't the greatest. Also for pick up only one person can enter the building and having to wait on the bench is safe, but not the most fun. 3/5 Staff: Very nice, patient, and were very safe. I know that when I went that there were two workers and they worked hard. They made sure to take my order even when making drinks for others and brought my drinks out to me when they finished the order. That being said it took them like 20 mins to make my two drinks. There were not that many orders ahead or after me so this is just a little concerning. 3/5 Price: I mean this is not hard to rate as my other restaurants. The value you get here is minimal. This is overpriced and maybe it is the pandemic affecting the price, but sadly if hurting all of us. 1/5 Food or drinks in this case: Peanut Butter Shake: My dad ordered this and it tasted fine. It had what a normal Peanut Butter Shake would have, but that doesn't mean it was amazing. I think fast food shakes had a similar or better overall taste. 2.5/5 The Healer Juice: So I came here because I thought it would be healthy and I ordered this because it sounded good. Honestly, this was just awful. I know taste buds are different, but this tasted like celery was blended with water. For what I paid this was just the worst vegan or vegetarian item I have ordered. This made me consider going back to eating meat and dairy full time again. I do not recommend and honestly recommend you blend some veggies or fruits for a thicker shake at home. The big benefit you get here is you don't have to clean the blender or juicer after. 0.5/5 Conclusion: The location and staff are fine, but the price, value, and overall product are just not worth it. It may have the stars from other people, but for me, this is a hard pass. I wanted to try their avocado toast, but they don't even serve it anymore. Please reconsider by looking at another vegan location, smoothie shop, or even buying the ingredients at the market. I am sorry if this hurts your feelings but I cannot justify lying to you. Tasty juice in an unassuming spot. One customer at a time allowed inside during COVID. Customer service was okay, I was greeted by one of the three young ladies working there. I went with the After Glow Juice since I'm a fan of ginger and beets. It was good and I appreciated that they threw in an ice cube to cool it down since it was a little warm.
