This place is definitely on my top 5 worst kbbq spot. It might be on the 1st place. 2nd place is Kpot falls church. Meat quality is so basic, no flavor, the sauces are extremely limited. The hot bar is limited as and not great. Anyways, if you don't eat halal then pick another place like Kpot Fairfax or meojka 1.5 I also saw a tub of store bought icecream in their ice-cream. I don't know what that is all about but I hope people are not paying $5 per scoop for generic store bought ice cream. read more

This was our first time trying this new Korean BBQ spot, and we're glad we made a reservation because it already seems to be getting popular fast! Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant has an open layout with booth-style seating, so you get a nice bit of privacy without feeling closed off. Our server, David, was great--super attentive, helped with the cooking, and kept checking in on us even though the place was pretty busy. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and polite. We ordered the premium option for two people, and honestly, it was more than enough food for our party of three. We didn't even finish all the meat, which says a lot! Another plus: with the premium option, you can take leftovers home, unlike the ACE option. The meat quality was excellent and definitely felt like a step up from the ACE option. Caught up with my friend at this new(-ish) KBBQ place inside Fair Oaks Mall. They offer a good variety of meats and side dishes. They offer some cuts and sides that other AYCE places typically don't offer like galbi and popcorn chicken. While the meat quality isn't the best, it is pretty decent for AYCE and the meats are marinaded pretty good. This is another decent KBBQ spot that is worth a visit if you're in the area. read more

Honestly, one of the best Korean bbqs around here. We got the spicy beef and pork bulgogis, the Khan steak, Kalbi beef, soy garlic pork belly and brisket (my least favorite- too fatty and not too flavorful). The ban chan were good as well as the hot bar. Some of the items were luke warm and not as fresh but overall it was better than most places. Service was excellent and the quality and quantity of the meat was perfect. We all left soooo full. read more

I would rate this place 4.5 stars if I could. Very clean place with a classy ambiance. Service was good as well. The AYCE dinner was $38/p (Dec 2025) which was reasonable for the amount of selection and side dishes they offered. We liked how they had corn cheese as an option. We wish though that they served beef belly like other places. The quality of the meat was good- not amazed but definitely better than other overhyped KBBQ places. The sauces were good too. Just a heads up, the military discount of 10% is only applied to the service member and not the entire bill. Would we come back here again? Maybe if we were in the area. However, it didn't IMMEDIATELY stand out to us compared to other AYCE KBBQ spots, but there's nothing wrong with it-- we just prefer another place with more options, same experience, better price. ;) read more

Pleasantly surprised with this new kbbq open in town. The business is still in their soft opening phase setting up the store. Interior is clean with dimly lit lighting and plenty of booth seating. Multiple screens to view kpop music videos from every angle. Also very clean bathroom. I had the AYCE dinner menu on this visit for $38 pp and believe it is fairly priced for the options you can choose from and sides that get unlimited refills. I only opted to try only the beef but I will say that their meat quality is top notch. I always start with brisket and beef bulgogi but their steaks here are great. Also good to mention that I hear the menu is halal beef and chicken which is the same as their Woodbridge location. The service is super fast and the servers are knowledgable. There was not a time that I had to wait to get the next rounds of meats (2 meats of choice at one time). Their corn cheese is yummy but seemed to be heavier on the corn side rather than cheese. The steamed egg is perfectly seasoned. Banchan options are pretty standard to other kbbq spots but I did note that the portions were kind of small (e.g. fish cake and kimchi). read more

My boyfriend and I went to their soft opening and loved it! The restaurant has a huge open space, a bar, projector, TVs, and a really nice dark aesthetic vibe to it. They are still finishing up the first room as you walk in so don't be alarmed if you think they're still under construction - just keep walking in, they are indeed open! Service here is S-tier! (Thank you so much for being so attentive, Brian!) Typically I feel the staff isn't quite up to par yet due to training, etc. during soft openings, but that wasn't the case here and I'm very appreciative of that. We got every single side menu item and would recommend the popcorn chicken, corn cheese, japchae, dumplings and soybean soup! I loveeee steamed eggs and theirs had excellent consistency, but was super bland. I felt like I was just eating the texture. As for meats, I really loved the Khan steak, Galbi, and soy pork spare ribs! We also got the cube steak, butter squid, and brisket which were fine, just not my personal preference. Fun fact: they have tortillas. Yup. Tortillas. I don't know why I find this so amusing, but if you want to make a KBBQ taco you're more than welcome to! (But seriously, it's just tortilla.) Really really enjoyed this experience with my family. The service was quick and attentive yet not overbearing like other spots. We didn't feel rushed and it was all well paced with a smile on their face. The decor is classy yet modern. The music is great although it did repeat while we were there. Bathrooms are clean. The cuts were some of the best meats we've had in the area. The sauces they provide are a perfect balance of flavors. The cafe next door has so much to offer. And the best part? The pricing. Who knew Fair Oaks mall had a korean bbq restaurant?! I didn't. It's huge and very clean/modern looking (even the bathrooms are quite nice). The weekday lunch special is such a good deal, wow. $25 (plus senior discount) for all you can eat korean bbq AND sides. We enjoyed all the meats we ordered (pork belly, brisket, hawaiian bulgogi, soy spare rib) and left completely stuffed. The server was so so attentive and prompt with all the orders. From start to finish this restaurant was the best Korean food experience in VA. Marvelous design and ambiance. The waiter was attentive and quick. My family and I lived in New York for over 2 decades and had trouble finding good Korean food anywhere else. This is the first time in years where I felt I was satisfied. More than actually. The prices, quantity, and quality of the food was incredible. I especially love the banchan (side dishes). Rarely do Korean restaurants have excellent banchan but Khan definitely did! One of the best Korean bbq spots I've been to. I'm not a big meat eater so when I go to kbbq places I like to eat chicken, seafood and sides. They have plently of sides to choose from, I loved their Buldak ramen, spicy rice cakes, steamed egg and corn cheese. The sauces were all delicious. The prices are great for both options. Our server was friendly and the service was fast. The tables are comfortable and they play popular kpop which is enjoyable. After soaking in all the goodness during our first visit (with kids), we had a better idea what to order the second time (without kids). This is a kid friendly place ($13-$15/per kid), offering rice, tortilla & buldak base options, with your choice of protein. The first time with kids, we went with option B. Last night, we went with option A because the bulgogi and brisket were our favorites. We tried many of the sides, all delicious. The sauces are unique and filled with flavor. Best galbi on an ayce menu - Corn Cheese side dish: 7/10 Kind of oily but I like how it comes out on the pan at an ayce - Soybean Soup side dish: 6/10 also oily because they put brisket in it but some could like that! Decided to try this place out with friends and it was surprising. The amount of options offered for the price was a good surprise. The server was very pleasant with us, however, he often forgot certain things ordered and needed reminders. The corn cheese, spicy rice cakes and soy bean soup were among the top options of the night. The corn cheese was similar to meokja and it was so good that I ordered a whole plate to myself. The brisket sadly was not as fatty as other places and was very dry. The cube steak was the best amongst the beef options. Our sides were amply refilled and attended to. It was a bit surprising to see that this place was located inside of a mall, but the overall atmosphere was similar to other kbbq spots. There was K-pop playing in the background but not to the extent that conversation was not able to be had. There were tv screens with music videos playing that correlated with what was being played overhead. They also seemed to have a coffee bar/cafe being added which is different than other places. EASILY THE BEST KBBQ IVE EVER HAD!!! I've been to so many in the DMV area and nowhere else compares. For AYCE, brisket and pork belly never disappoint, and Khan Steak is a must try. Marinated Galbi also makes the price worth it!!!! Their side dishes have a lot of variety and are also really good. Corn cheese is buttered corn with real cheese pull, and NOT some drenched mayo bs like the other places have. Kkot Sal and Saeng Galbi (combo dish, not part of AYCE) are my favorite and THE BEST cuts that are super tender and juicy and will melt in your mouth!! Service is quick, efficient, and kind. This is also the only kbbq around that serves halal meat, which is very inclusive and thoughtful! Love the spacious seating and lighting. Each cut was beautiful with just the right amount of marbling: especially the pork belly and brisket. You can tell Khan takes great pride in sourcing and preparing their ingredients. Made a reservation for a party of 8 in one of the private rooms for my grandmother's 83 birthday since she is a fan of KBBQ. When we arrived to the venue, we were told that there was no private room reservation and they could not accommodate us at one table so we would need to be split up. The location was not full so we asked why this wouldn't be possible. We were told that private room reservations are only made a week in advance. I asked, why was I allowed to make a reservation that was specifically for a private room. The hostess shrugged, and went to lead us to our separate tables. I told her we would not be taking the tables since they were not together but wanted to confirm with the person that took my reservation. That person was Sam Lee, the Assistant Manager, who reiterated it wasn't possible and there was nothing they could do. After a back and forth, he confirmed he had heard me, and offered absolutely nothing in terms of solutions other than apathy and eye rolling for us and our party. It was incredibly disappointing to see the leadership take no accountability for their mistake and basically telling us to take it or leave it. Thankfully, we left it and had a wonderful time at the steakhouse next door. How unfortunate it was that Sam was the manager on site tonight. read more
