I came to know about this place through Groupon where they had a deal for first time customers and I bought a men's haircut . I have set up an appointment by calling them yesterday and planned my day to be there at 5:00 pm. When I got there they denied me service with the Groupon because they "remember" me being there before, which was a lie. Even More amazing is that the lady with whom I had appointment claims to have cut my hair before. When I asked if they could prove me that if I was there, I meant my data on their computer or an appointment made by me before, she says they don't have one and said this " you guys always " try to use the deal from Groupon even after being here before . I've been coming to have Angelina cut my hair for over a year now, and I intend to keep coming back. As a young male in Fairfield county, I refuse to pay upwards of $40.00 for a haircut. Not only does Angelina charge a fair price ($25.00), but she also gives me an amazing value; she is meticulous in cutting my hair, she used a single blade to make sure my edges are perfect, and even included a shampoo, wash and style at the end. I purchased a Groupon and was very disappointed. It was not a great deal. I had an appointment but was kept waiting 30 minutes- no one offered me water or apologized for the wait. My stylist Arturo was very negative in general and didn't part my hair before cutting it. As a result, my haircut is uneven. At the end he rushed me out because he got a walk in. I went in with a groupon and got an ok service. My hair was cut by Veronica and at first it appeared to be a nice haircut. However, when I got home, I realized that the left side was longer than the right side and there were a few hairs that were not cut at all and therefore several inches longer. I proceeded to cut this hair myself. In addition, not only was the right side shorter but a small section of the inside hair (near my neck) was about 2 inches shorter than the rest of the hair - I am not sure what happened here?! I went here once before with a Groupon. Wonderful cut, color and treatment. I went back full price and the water was cold and my sweater was wet around the neck from my the hair washing. They are con artists. I paid for single process color, cut & style. They tried to tell me that single process color means they only touch up your roots and that it would be additional money for full head of color. Then after I disagreed with them they finally told me the extra charge was for long hair. Not sure why I was lied to from the start. Seems to me they are trying to pocket extra cash. They have good customer service, they cut hair nicely but one employ over bleached my hair for the balayage i was doing. What I mean is by the second week the top layer of my hair was damaged the bleach/dye part was all crimped up and short like baby hairs but 10 times worse. Keep in mind this was the first time ever adding chemicals to my hair to dye it. My hair was very healthy and shinny before this. I really regret dying my hair because of this situation. Proceed with caution when entering this salon. They charge you separately for each service, $30 to blow dry your hair when you just spent $110 on highlights, $30 extra for toner ( I never requested). Speak Spanish, but know English, just choose not to use it. read more

I brought a groupon for Veronica's and went there to use it. It is located next to David's Bridal and if you don't know where David's Bridal is you will drive by it and turn around and get there. I arrived on time for the appointment. They took me immediately (no wait) and there were 5 or 6 people in there being worked on. I donate my hair every two years to locks of love so I have the hair stylist put the rubber band in my hair and cut off the ponytail for me to put in the ziploc bag for mailing to Locks of Love. The guy who cut my hair impressed me that he had a tape measure to make sure we were taking off the correct amount of hair. After he did that he asked me what I wanted from the haircut. He washed my hair and then cut it and blew it dry. The cut was one of the better cuts I have gotten and I have gone to more expensive salons and have gotten worse cuts. Kudos to the stylist I would definitely go back for my next haircut. Great Job, Professional, Quick and Reasonably Priced. Best of all it is right down the street from Whole Foods. read more

As a new Mom with a 2 month old baby I wanted to do something for myself to feel "pretty" so I found what I thought to be an amazing groupon opportunity for a haircut, wash, style, color and gloss or highlights (as the description in the groupon said). I made my appointment weeks in advance so I could schedule this mini-makeover a week before I returned to work. However, I get to the business and I was waiting for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me then when I was approached by an employee there was a language barrier. Finally when I was addressed they informed me they wouldn't be ready for another 15 minutes and suggested I go "run an errand" (by this time it was 10:30am, at this point I was waiting for 30 minutes). Then the manager approached me and asked to see my groupon and they said the groupon was only for the haircut, style, wash, color and gloss. However, when I showed them the further description of the groupon it clearly states single process color with gloss or highlights. They wouldn't honor the groupon so I left and the "mini-makeover" I was looking forward to for over a month was not to be. I am very disappointed as I had to make sure I had a babysitter during the time I had allowed for this. I will not be giving this salon my business due to their poor scheduling, lack of quality customer service and rudeness. read more
