It's one of my favorite dishes so i recommend this sandwich. Great bread too. Unfortunately, I'm still chasing the high I got from my first sandwich here, not sure if an employee was just having a great day and loaded me up the very first time a few years ago but I haven't had one as good since. The bite that I ate left me sick most of the day. Later that evening my mom went for a slice of the head cheese and it was old, hard, and dry, well past the expiration date. I will notify Sacramento county vector control, because I suspect a good portion of the meat in the case is past the expiration. When checking out, a kind gentleman (possibly the owner) greeted us warmly and even offered a free pint of salsa as a thank-you gift.
