Sliced and pickled pigs ear and chicharrones. The collard greens and Hazy IPA are from Urban Roots. So this made for a perfect take out!

So don't overlook this little market and lunchroom, it is authentic Mexican in North Highlands Cali.

The following week I showed the picture to the clerk of the bakery, and he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I showed the picture of the cashier and he said that there weren't barcodes on the bagel so it's hard to package them ( who barcode bagels). I emailed customer service and the manager seven days ago and have yet to hear back. Bel-Air used to have the greatest customer service. Used to. The combined age of the two clerks I talked to was under 45. Kids these days don't care. When I work grocery in the 70s, we would've replaced a bagels free of charge. I hope management sees this review and reacts to it because they sure didn't to my email

Some of my favorite things from Bel Air is the deli dept. with their salads and combo meals, the bakery and the sale they have on snacks. I came recently and the Triscuit brand was on sale for $2.49 when you buy 2 or more! That's a steal! The only downside at this location was the poor customer experience I encountered in the deli department when the person behind the counter was not helpful with ordering some items. But overall, this is one location I frequent. I'd continue to come here again and I always look for deals on the pastries and salads. Their lines even in the self-check out can just be a little longer than usual.

I purchased clearance food items that I later realized -- without even opening them -- were clearly not fresh and not safe to eat. This is especially serious to me because I have children, and I rely on stores to sell food that is safe for families. What makes this worse is that I was told in the store that these products were "safe" and that employees buy them themselves. When I returned to request a refund, one associate initially said it would be accepted. However, the same employee who originally reassured me suddenly refused, became visibly upset, and told me "it's the law" that they cannot take the items back. That statement is misleading -- stores cannot avoid responsibility for selling food that is not safe for consumption. On top of that, during the same visit I was overcharged for other items compared to the posted prices, which added to my frustration and concern about how this business operates. This was not just poor customer service -- it raises serious concerns about food safety and consumer rights. I strongly recommend that others carefully inspect any items before purchasing here and double-check prices at checkout.

Their young cashier-girl assured me: " Yes, we do! We have truck deliveries twice per week, Monday and Thursday". Guess what...I completely wasted that 14-mile-drive: they had only 1(one) ice cream. Can't she count till 1(one)?

Just like today I walked in, asked for the customer service, the lady at the florist she was very helpful, she called for the customer service for me. I was standing there for a while and then the old lady walked in to the office and she even said anything to me, not say hi, not anything and just got disappeared in the office. I waved my hand to the lady at the florist again just to let her know that if you guys too busy I can come another time. And she was surprised that the lady doesn't help me yet and she came knocked on the office, then the old lady came out. Since then, I've been able to find one almost every time I stop in after work, so thank you for listening. Unfortunately, you've now created a much bigger problem. As an introvert, I intentionally use self checkout because I want to scan my groceries, pay and leave. I don't want to stand in a regular checkout line making small talk. Self checkout lets me get in and out quickly and comfortably. Today I discovered that every self checkout register is now card only. If I'm paying with cash, I have no choice but to go through a cashier. That completely defeats the purpose of self checkout for me. Please bring back at least one self checkout register that accepts cash. Not everyone wants to use a card every time, and not everyone wants to go through a staffed checkout. I've shopped at Raley's for many years because it's always been my favorite grocery store, but this change is a deal breaker. I won't be shopping here again unless cash is accepted at self checkout. It's genuinely disappointing to lose a store I've always enjoyed over something that never needed to be changed in the first place.
