I called on my day off around 11am and knew I was asking for a lot, dog grooming that day with no prior appointment. The super nice lady who answered the phone said no problem, come right down. They were prompt, kind and treated my dog nicely (they made me feel like they really liked dogs and it wasn't just a job). The inside was clean and I would return.

I am definitely going to continue to take my dog to get groomed at Kibbles & Klips. Kathy did a great job on my dog! :)

Don't take your dog there. I have a Shih Tzu puppy. When we bought him from a litter he had flees. We took him to be flee dipped here immediately and later found out he had to be re dipped because we still saw flees. Took him back just a day or two later to get rid of the flees, they charged us again when they told my boyfriend they'd do it for free. I picked the puppy up not realizing the arrangement, so they took advantage of me. Needless to say, that didn't work and he had become infested with flees per the vet and got rx for him. Tried to give them another chance so we take the puppy back for standard grooming service ie bath, anal gland, ear cleanse. I asked for a puppy cut which is a low hair scissor cut not with clippers because he was still less than 6 mos old. When the bf went to pick my dog up his hair had been completely removed with clippers and he was bald and it was not even. He looked like a poor abandoned dog. I was pissed! Although my dog is still adorable and cuddly the texture of his hair has been ruined because of them. On top of that when I took the puppy for his series of puppy shots a few days later at the vet, they had to remove hair from his ear that should have been done at the groomers. We paid $45 friggin dollars. I was pissed again. If you have a dog grooming business you should know the needs of the various breeds that enter your business. My bf said all the dog's hair was skinned off when he picked our dog up. I had a Pomeranian with way more hair than this dog. I have never seen such poor quality work. Seems they only know how to do one cut and that's a buzz cut and the cut is jagged at that. I could go on and on. I have not gone back nor did I waste my breath on telling them how pissed I was and still am. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. I beg you not to take your dogs there. Petsmart Northlake has an excellent grooming service. Go there!

I loved this place. I called for a same day appointment and they told me immediately that I could bring my dog. The lady there was very nice and did a great job. Now my cute girl can finally see with her face all clean and she is so fluffy after that bath and her hair brushed. We will definitely come back to Kibbles & Klips.

I have a special needs dog that other groomers wouldn't take but Kathy didn't hesitate.

The…read moreladies at the front desk were all very friendly and the groomer made sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She did SUCH a great job!!! He looks adorable. He's a doodle and had some matting and she was able to shave just where he was matted and leave everything else fairly long (like I asked). Typically when I pick him up from other groomers, he is completely shaved from being matted but not here. He is so soft and fluffy. I also love that they are a stay and play!! So you can drop your dog off at any point, and pick them up at any point during business hours. No late fees, no extra charges!!! I love this- I always hate planning my day around when my dog is going to be ready at other groomers. It seemed like the dogs were just wandering around the grooming area and there was a little area for strictly playing, but it's not like they take them to a separate room or outside, but I still love how they socialize and aren't caged!! It was pricy- at other groomers I have paid $80-$90 for a groom and here it was $105, but that also includes getting to play and socialize for as long as you need, so I think it's worth it!! I will note, they charge a 4% credit card fee if you use one. But they don't if you Venmo or pay cash. We will definitely be back!

I was told he would be ready in 4 hours. I called after 4 hours and they said they were starting him then. After 6 hours he was ready for pick up and then they told me it cost $120!!! I could tell my dog was stressed and he was shaking. I would like to say that the groomer was amazing. She came out and talked to me about what I wanted before dropping him off and called me when he was ready and was so sweet. I think the management is over booking things. If I dropped my dog off at 10am and he isn't ready until 4pm that is ridiculous. I will not be going back .

Absolutely Horrible Experience. Do Not Take Your Dog Here!…read more We took our puppy to Modern Pet Salon for the first time because we heard they use scissors instead of clippers, which we thought would be gentler. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. We specifically asked them multiple times not to cut too much of her hair, especially since she doesn't like it, but they insisted she had too many tangles and needed a full trim. Not only did they ignore our request, but they cut our puppy twice, both on her ears--areas where there was no tangled hair at all. They even called us during the appointment to say she was bleeding. Later, they claimed it was because she had an ear hematoma and that they had just trimmed it. That was a complete lie. We took her to the vet, who confirmed that the injury was a fresh cut from grooming and not from any medical condition. She did not have a hematoma. They hurt her, and then tried to cover it up. They also asked us to use an old sock to cover the wound, which felt incredibly unprofessional and careless. Since then, our puppy has been extremely uncomfortable. She keeps shaking her head, clearly bothered by her ears, and she has been very sad and withdrawn. This is the first and only time something like this has ever happened to her. I'm beyond disappointed. Not only should they have never charged us for this awful experience, but they should not be handling dogs, especially sensitive breeds like doodles, if they can't do so safely and honestly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please protect your pet and take them somewhere else.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating our special request for early pickup. Everything was fine for that visit. The second visit was from a Saturday through Tuesday. We were a little leary of letting our dog join the playtime because we were concerned about large dogs being mixed in with the smaller dogs. But we let them include her in the regular playtimes. When we checked on the cameras, our dog either sat by the attendant or over by a wall away from the other dogs. I don't think she enjoyed the playtime at all. There was one larger dog on camera that looked like it was sort of bullying the other smaller dogs & the attendant did nothing that we could see to correct that situation. After we got her back home, she seemed out of sorts & very skittish for several days. She also had some potty issues after getting back home, and we think she may have gotten slightly dehydrated while she was there.
