A favorite comment from me is, "Pancakes big as your face." or, "Pancakes big as a Baby Moon." However, nobody knows what is a Baby Moon any more. Light, fluffy, delicious with butter. The gal who took our order was friendly and greeted us with a smile, which added a welcoming touch. The two baristas preparing the drinks seemed a bit disoriented and unsure with some of the orders, so I was pleasantly surprised when the drinks came out just right. The ambiance of the café felt a little scattered--it didn't seem like there was a consistent theme--but the space definitely has good bones and the potential to be something special. One small thing I appreciated was that they don't put the lids or straws on your drinks for you. It's a simple but thoughtful touch that I personally prefer. We'll definitely be back.
