This coffee shop is one of my go-to spots in Spokane. I usually order a couple of drinks: my standard 32-ounce iced latte with oat milk and a 32-ounce iced matcha latte, also with oat milk. Visiting Spokane and gave this stand a try on the way to Hoopfest! We ordered an iced mocha and an iced chai tea latte, both were good. I went here a few weeks back and had to go back because my order was wrong. Asked for a quad shot Americano black and a mocha. The first time they only made a mocha and forgot the Americano. I asked them for my Americano and they gave me mocha instead. It was about 11-12 dollars for both coffees. When I got back home I realized they gave me the wrong order. I was told it was miscommunication and it felt like it was my fault for not speaking up. read more

White Dog has blessed the North side with their coffee! I used to frequent one of their locations in Spokane Valley and I'm thrilled to have them off Northwest Blvd now. The coffee is delish, their signature drinks have something for everyone, the girls are always sweet and their prices aren't bad. My go to drinks switch between The Corey w/ caramel and hemp milk or The Deep Fried Oreo with an extra shot. Definitely go give White Dog a try!! read more

Love this stand by my house. Used to be Jitters but new local owners from south hill. Stand named after their dog. I really enjoy the coffee great quality and the Baristas are very friendly. Black Dog Coffee is a vast improvement from the former establishment. They offer two types of coffee roasts to choose from, a light roast Northern European blend and espresso roast. I prefer a lighter roasted (than espresso) for my drink as more of the bean's flavor is present and the taste is much smoother. The baristas are are wonderful and their drinks are well made. I go to the location in the Valley off of Pines. I absolutely love White Dog. The girls that work there are so friendly, make my day every time I visit. They have worked with me to make my favorite drinks and adjust flavorings to my liking. They are also wearing masks which is important to my family. I was appauled when I was told my total for one 16oz. drink was over $8.00 and that did not include the tip. $9.00 total after tip for one 16oz. drink.This is an outrage. This place is insanely over priced. I normally get an americano. They will charge you for cream. And even more for extra cream. I payed $10 for two coffees. Keep in mind that my americano was $2.50 to begin with. Coffee isn't that great either and wasn't made how I wanted. Won't come here again. read more

Some staff currently at the south hill location lack customer service skills GREATLY... I don't appreciate eyes being rolled when I ask for certain drinks or food off the menu or being treated like less using the walk up window. It's unfortunate because the owner's and a lot of the staff are great at their job other girls currently working there should learn how to be friendly and helpful like the rest! read more

To say I am disappointed is quite an understatement. I cannot seem to find the correct location on Sprague, so I am going to post here. Corey and Tori bought out my favorite coffee stand in the Spokane Valley, Pilot's Coffee, I believe back in March of 2021. We got very little notice (about 1 week) from the WONDERFUL owners Scott and Savannah, that their lives were moving in a different direction, and that White Dog would be taking over the stand. I was ecstatic at first, because I knew that White Dog was a local company that has done very well in Spokane. The stand was closed for renovations from the end of March, through the middle of May, reopening around May 15th of 2021. Part of the take over for Pilots to becoming White Dog, was that they had promised to still honor the punch cards for Pilots, especially since closing was on such short notice (again, about 1 weeks notice before closing). I was an incredibly loyal customer at Pilots, and I always saved my cards for a "rainy day" so to speak. Less than a week after they opened the new stand on Sprague, we were informed that we could no longer use punch cards, with absolutely no information as to why the change was made, or why they would not be honored, only stating that they were costing them too much money. This was on the 22nd of May, so only 1 week after opening. Most people in my same situation, would never have been able to use saved cards in time, thus, literally throwing our money away for being a loyal customer, with a promise made by the new owners. I was told simply that I could not use them, and that the owner would get back in contact with me. It has been 2 months now, and the new owners STILL have not contacted me (the girls had given them my number and ways to contact me, but no reach out), to tell me why the change was made, nor why they would make a promise that was never intended to be kept. I had gone back a few times, because I LOVE the girls that stayed from Pilots, and on one return, I was informed that they were still taking cards from some customers, but that I "had too many, and it was losing money for the company" thus making me feel like I was an isolated case, and my business was no longer worth it. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication, as well as their unkept word. I was excited to still have a coffee stand close that I could be a regular at, but I will literally continue to go out of my way to take my business elsewhere. Too bad my money isn't worth it to the business, and that being a loyal customer has no meaning. read more
