I went to the counter to see what we needed to do, and the young lady was checking out customers and an older gentleman was also behind the counter with her. A younger man also walked up behind the counter as we were standing there. No one offered any information or assistance as we stood there to the side. I eventually asked her if we needed to do anything specific since we were just standing there to the side and she said "oh, sorry! I thought you were with the large party." She gave us instructions to select our pieces and then have a seat and someone would be with us to do the next step. We selected our items and had a seat. The two gentlemen were still around the counter or back and forth to help other customers with paint, etc. I made eye contact with both of them and they both turned away at several engagements. After about 8-10 minutes of no one coming to our table, my 9 year old looked at me and said, "Mom, I feel like no one wants to help us, and they've seen us sitting here for a while." WOW. An experience I NEVER want my child to have. We put our pieces back carefully, and left. I hate that was her experience especially because she was really looking forward to it, and there aren't many opportunities like this in our area, but I won't bring her back to be ignored.

You simply pick the pottery you want to paint, and the price is listed on the bottom of each piece, which makes it easy to choose. We spent about two hours painting and had a lot of fun with it. I was a little bit confused on what to do so I'll help y'all out: 1) Select the piece you want to paint from the wall. You bring your piece to the counter and pay for the price of this piece (usually found at the bottom) AND an extra $7 on top for the paint. Don't worry, during COVID you're allowed to come back and finish painting at another time without paying an additional fee again. 2) Go to the paint section and write down the paints color you want to use on the sheet of paper. The shown paint is half 1 layer and the other half 3 layers. You can sit down at any table you want and they'll bring the paint to you. (You can always ask for more paint afterwards). 3) When you're finished, give your piece to one of the workers. They'll fire it up for you and be ready in a week or so.

I had a wonderful time painting and chatting here with my friends this past weekend. We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

In my opinion, these kind of experience-based services should prioritize offering sublime customer service but this missed the mark for us. It doesn't make a lot of sense to take down our information just for us to have to actively follow up to get confirmation to pick up products we already paid for. I hope this was just a one off experience.

I purchased Amano shrimp from this store recently. The shrimp were very small/juvenile (around half…read morean inch), but were sold at standard adult pricing. Unfortunately, a couple of them did not survive within a few days of being introduced to a stable, cycled tank. The staff were polite, but I do think clearer separation between juvenile and adult livestock would help customers know what they're getting. I also noticed a few similar reviews mentioning livestock losses, which matches my experience. Overall, the store has a good selection, but I would recommend customers carefully inspect livestock size and condition before purchasing. But one big issue is that they do tend to be more pricey than other areas I've seen which is fair I get that family owned business but still. I don't think I'll be coming back though that's my opinion I personally opt for places like Infinite Aquatics
