In my opinion, these kind of experience-based services should prioritize offering sublime customer service but this missed the mark for us. It doesn't make a lot of sense to take down our information just for us to have to actively follow up to get confirmation to pick up products we already paid for. I hope this was just a one off experience.

Amy walked us through the process and then checked on us intermittently to make sure the process was going okay. We had a lot of fun doing something crafty with each other and I would highly recommend it for a work outing or large group social. My only regret is not getting a beer or two while we had the chance! Didn't realize until late that they offered drinks as well. My bowl was ready a few weeks after. And yes, I know it looks like a Turkey.

After our experience, I chose to reach out privately by email rather than just leaving a negative review. My goal wasn't to complain I genuinely hoped the feedback would help improve the experience for future families and visitors. Unfortunately, I never received any response or acknowledgment. What disappointed me most wasn't even the original visit it was realizing afterward that there didn't seem to be any interest in hearing customer feedback. A simple reply, acknowledgment, explanation, or even "thank you for taking the time to share this" would have gone a long way. I understand businesses get busy and not every message can result in a full resolution, but being completely ignored after taking the time to provide detailed, respectful feedback reinforced the same feeling we had during our visit: that customers were more of an afterthought than a priority. They offer a variety of different pottery pieces for you to choose from. You pick your peace, each labeled with their price, and grab your own paint colors. You can take as much time as you'd like to paint your piece and once you're complete you check out at the register. They'll reach out in about a week or so to let you know when your piece is fired so you can pick it up. There were plates, piggy banks, bowls, figurines, coasters, anything you can think of! I chose a mug and it was about $25, but I did choose a rather large mug. Great place for a solo afternoon, event with the kids, or hanging out with some friends.

My friends and I had a great bonding day at Mad Potter. The staff there was really nice and provided us with a great introduction session. All of the materials such as paint and brushes are included in the price. An added bonus is that it's BYOB! It takes a few days for them to glaze your product. Don't expect to receive a text that your item is ready for pick up. Only con is paid parking near the front of the building, however there is a free parking garage that is located within a 5 minutes walk.

I had a wonderful time painting and chatting here with my friends this past weekend. We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.
