I came across some very nice daycares but also pricey. New World is definently reasonable and when I walked in for a tour it felt like the one. It's not as nice as some but it is clean and tidey. The staff made me feel like its going to be fine. It's small and friendly and I like that everyone is hanging out together and they also have cameras and a key pad outside the building. Diana was very nice and easy to talk to which helped me make my decision. Hoping I made a good decision!

We had to move our infant from the place she attended, and I was on guard when touring this place. The staff was patient and answered all my questions. My child has now attended DBS Kids close to three years. At one point, we had some issues but as soon as we talked to a director, they were instantaneously addressed. My favorite part about DBS Kids is how deeply the teachers and teacher aids care for the children and connect. Every teacher we meet when walking in or out of the building knows my child's by name (no matter what age group they work in, they know all the kids' names). She gets lots of hugs, likes going to daycare and is all smiles at pick-up time. I am often amazed at how much she is learning in spite of having some developmental delays due to an underlying medical condition. It is obvious that the teachers interact and talk with the kids. They are intentional in their curriculum and interactions. Finding childcare we can afford was difficult. Finding high quality care we can afford seemed almost impossible until we found DBS Kids. I would recommend DBS Kids to any family.

When we went there they told us $800 a month. As a college kid working to try to give my kid the best this is pretty damn expensive coupled with rent ,groceries , and bills. Out of no where they increased their price to $870 and said they talked to me on the phone telling me this would happen when they didn't. I look at my bank account and $920 is charged. And then they had the audacity to say we're increasing our prices again because our supply. WHAT DO THEY SUPPLY?!?! Parents pay for formula, diapers, wipes, cloths , and snacks. All they buy is toys and watch the babies sit there. They pay their workers $8 a hour and I heard this from one of the works that used to work there not to long ago. The director takes a huge cut of any child signed up. They have roughly 200 kids, with the $870 price that's 174k a MONTH. Just a greedy place that doesn't care about your kids. They half ass learning and teaching also. Not to mention my son has gone home in cloths that weren't his 3x now and somehow they always run out of diapers and wipes in a mater of a week . I would never recommend this school. If you want good care and cheap cost look elsewhere because this day care is purely about greed.

My children went to ELC and they loved it. So did I, because they learned everything they needed to do well when they went to school. They are both doing so well. However, I can say that Rock Solid is about as good as they come. We've had our daughter at a couple different gyms and so far this one is the best. She is 4 -- (so far) she doesn't want to be competitive or pressured to do riskier things, and this is largely why we like Rock Solid because while they are very competitive in some of the programs, they also let the kids have fun. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful with the little ones. You get a sense that they actually enjoy the time they spend with the kids and that is worth alot. Unlike other gyms in Lubbock, the entire building is air conditioned so parents and kiddos can enjoy the time more comfortably. The only thing I don't like about RS is that the sight lines are the greatest. Because of the way the building is oriented, it can be difficult to see everything your little one is doing. Since they rotate around, this is not a huge problem but something that can get on your nerves.
