I wear a 16 shirt, but there is multiple sizes within a 16 to fit a different body types(which i was unaware of) that you wont find that at nordstrom rack, let alone a shirt that hasnt been tried on by 1000 people already. anyway, i walk into men district and Joshua was Super Knowledgeable with sizing, and even gave me a nice deal on 2 shirts w free socks. all under $100. I will likely try a business shop vs home shop next time. I called multiple times and arranged for a fitting to alter two jackets. First Don said he was available the next day and to call back. I did and arranged to stop by, kept asking for the address, and finally he gave it to me, but called back later and ask I stop by later that day. When I tried again in the afternoon, he gave me an address and said his sister is helping him and will meet with me. Went to the home and the man introduced himself as Don so I was so confused. He said a business partner is sending him leadals, maybe that is Don? The woman (Loan) was very sweet who did my alterations. Anyway, whoever I ended up being sent to was ok but it wasnt Don and cant find her listing to leave a review there. Leaving this here so others are aware they may be sent elsewhere instead of Don. The alterations for 2 jackets were ok. One jacket was perfect but the other was looser and not quite as tailored. Price was cheaper than standard so I was not too upset, you get what you pay for.

They got our outfits tailored, washed, and pressed before our wedding portraits and then cleaned and pressed again before our actual wedding day. Karen was patient with us and helped us make the best decisions about how to wash our clothes without shrinking anything too much. We go to Magic Touch for our regular clothes too but it's just so nice to be able to get to know the business people in our community on different levels. But the truth is I am so impressed with Magic Touch Cleaners and their ability to remove stains that others haven't, I thought the least I can do in return (besides pay them), is to put in a good word. They are definitely not the least expensive and their hours can be maddening, but then name one thing that hasn't been worth the expensive or inconvenience? I have never been disappointed by their work And as some of you know, I can be a savage critic. ORIGINAL HEM (4 stars)…read more - Affordable pricing - About 1week turn around - Quality job - Pay at pick-up Over the phone I was quoted, $15 for alteration and $18 for "hem". Location is easy to find but street parking can be challenging. Upon arrival, you sign the sign-in sheet with name and number. I brought in a $110 pair of jeans needing alteration. I haven't worn baggy clothes since the 90s. But it's "in trend" again and didn't want the bottom of my pants dragging on the floor. They have a tiny corner they made into a "dressing" area and they did the measuring for me. It needed to be shortened but to keep the original bottoms in which they called "hem". Hem was vague and I had to communicate "original bottoms/hem" in the event someone re-reads "hem" incorrectly. She then puts on the receipt $15 which is regular alteration price and I had again to verify "this is for original bottoms" and she said yes and I had to re-correct her on her own pricing to $18 so there is no miscommunication of what service I need done and what I'm paying for. She couldn't log my service into the computer because it was down so she wrote me a paper order. A week later, I lost that paper order assumed they have a copy of that because I got the pink slip which is the carbon copy of the original. She didn't. They never logged my order in whenever their computer came back on. They didn't remember me. I had to explain what was altered, tried to show them I signed the log-in sheet with my name and number (seems useless, looks like they don't even archive that), and had to describe the pair of jeans. Luckily they found it but I think that was a bit disorderly. I checked the quality and it was great. Original bottoms aka hem was achieved! Will be back for more alterations on my baggy clothes.
