Theres another area to have a dance party and for each kids birthday party, they have a birthday candle game where the birthday kid has to throw (a ball) to blow the candles out, super fun! They also have an option for a balloon drop (always the kids favorite). You tell them what theme your kid wants and they decorate a party room with those decorations (part of the package). Tucked into the heart of Tosa, the location is on point. It's no wonder they're regularly busy and have such a welcoming and communal feel. The exterior boasts of beautiful murals, colorful and bright. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere. All of the modern decor, lots of little things to shop for (by local vendors), a handful of tables to sit at and enjoy food/drink, and a friendly face at the register ready to check you in. I brought both my boys, 3.5 and 1.5 years old, and they had a blast. We booked a slot online ahead of time, which was very easy to do and came with a text & email reminder. When we showed up we paid for our entry ($11/kid for an hour) along with a latte for myself. I could not resist, given the drink options sounds darn good. And let me tell ya, the 'born to be wildberry shaken espresso' is something I need in my regular caffeine rotation!! As for the play area, I thought it was great! Plenty of space for kids of all ages. There were structures to climb, costumes to dress up in, blocks to stack, musical instruments to play, trucks & cars galore, and beyond. Oh and comfy couches for the moms/dads/caretakers to get comfy. All in all, a beautiful and safe place for littles to play! Also awesome: they host workshops, classes, storytimes, and other groups for parents and kids to get involved in. The big giant screens playing kid friendly music videos is a nice touch. The pizza is honestly really good, way better than when I was a kid. Stuffed crust is ALWAYS a must for me because I need extra cheese. The staff has always been kind and friendly and quick to action, whenever we have been there. A few of the machines needed a little maintenance and were being worked on but it was a week day and right when they opened which was understandable they got to get maintained sometime/someway. My twins go around to all different games but I love the classics - skee ball, water shooter game, basketball, the Simpsons soccer kick and we really love and always use the Photo Booth when we visit. Definitely a fun spot that gives a little nostalgia with new flair if you go during optimal times when it's not super busy. The guy working there was not at all enthused or pleasant to work with. He barely greeted us, wasn't in the spirit. Also, the video intro that we were asked to observe before our time started very clearly stated that clues would not be used twice, and yet one of the puzzles was only solvable by reusing a clue. When we pointed this out to the guy after, he denied it repeatedly. He refused to acknowledge the error, despite all 6 of us being confident it was in the video. The idea for the room was cool, but there were some executional flaws. And it ended very abruptly on our escape. It didn't feel like there was any closure. Finally, when we escaped our room, the staff made no attempt to come get us in a timely manner. When he did finally come get us, he said "that's it. Thanks guys" and offered us no opportunity to take a photo with the props, didn't tell us our final time, or invite us to come back again. As an escape room aficionado, I expect a higher caliber of service and immersion than my friends and I received during this visit. Will not be returning.
