I should have trusted my gut feeling. From the moment I walked in, I had a strong feeling that this was not going to be a safe environment and that I was not going to enjoy the experience. However, I believe in giving places a chance, so I still paid the $26+ admission fee to experience it for myself. I left within 20 minutes. First, the front doors were left open, and the facility was packed with people. The space was enormous, but I did not feel any air conditioning whatsoever. It was extremely hot and humid, to the point where I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if someone passed out from the heat. For a facility with this many people, especially young children, the lack of proper ventilation and temperature control is a serious concern. Honestly, I feel like they could have done so much more with the space they have. Most of the facility is occupied by obstacle courses and slides, with a small toddler play area, a go-kart slide, and a claw machine section. More importantly, I believe there should be employees and/or security personnel actively supervising these areas to ensure everyone's safety. The toddler section is clearly designated for toddlers and infants in diapers. However, I witnessed a father allow his child, who appeared to be over 10 years old, to play in that area, where the child was pushing babies and aggressively snatching toys from them. If I had not spoken up, I genuinely do not believe anyone would have intervened. That is absolutely unacceptable. What shocked me even more was that an employee told me they allow children up to 18 years old to play here alongside younger children when using the same section for example the obstacle courses and slides. Are you serious? How is it appropriate to have teenagers and young children playing in the same designated areas? It would be great if someone were actively watching them, but unfortunately, not every parent is willing to supervise their own child. This policy needs to be seriously reconsidered and to at least have someone supervising either an employee and/or security. I have personally witnessed older kids playing recklessly around much younger children, creating situations where someone could easily get hurt. There needs to be a clear age separation and proper enforcement of the rules. The go-kart section was another major disappointment. While the activity itself is a fun idea, it is not being managed properly. There were no employees actively supervising or managing the equipment, leaving everything to a first-come, first-served system. I witnessed multiple instances of children fighting over the go-karts and taking them directly out of other children's hands. This is chaotic, frustrating, and, more importantly, a safety issue. Equipment and activities involving children should not be left completely unmanaged. I also have serious concerns about cleanliness. I did not see any cleaning or disinfecting taking place during my visit. With so many children constantly touching the equipment and playing in shared spaces, regular cleaning and proper sanitation should be a priority. On top of everything else, I had to pay for their socks, only to find that they were made of extremely thin, almost see-through material with no grip on the bottom. They also allow guests to wear their own socks if they already have some. Unfortunately, I also ended up with an abrasion and friction burn from one of the obstacle course structures. That experience only added to my concerns about the facility's safety and maintenance. Overall, I will not be returning. I would never set foot here ever again even if I was invited from someone. This experience left me genuinely concerned about the safety of the children visiting this facility, particularly infants and toddlers who cannot protect themselves from older, more physically capable kids. I strongly hope management takes these concerns seriously, reviews its age restrictions and supervision policies, improves temperature control, and implements consistent cleaning and disinfecting procedures. A facility designed for children should prioritize their safety. This was an extremely stressful experience. I hope other parents are aware of these concerns and exercise caution if they decide to visit. read more

If this place is hot as you come in I'm warning you right now they will give you the go around and say they are fixing it but never truly getting it done! My kids and I walked in there today and instantly felt the heat. We heard a few other customers complaining of the heat and just heard them say the same thing they told us, they are working on it. I feel like everyone that walked in there with the same idea to avoid parks on the hottest day in September should be given a comp day. Update: Since my last review, I've visited Kids Empire three more times. To be fair, I've increased my rating from one star to two. The A/C is noticeably better, so credit where it's due. Unfortunately, the biggest issue is still the lack of supervision. On every visit, I've seen kids ignore the rules with little to no staff intervention. The environment feels chaotic instead of safe and enjoyable. I've also noticed a surprising number of teenagers who don't appear to be there with younger children. Whether that's allowed or not, they often add to the disorder. I encourage anyone reading the reviews to look at both the positive and negative feedback before deciding. After four visits, I still believe Kids Empire has a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to supervision and management. read more

My first time bringing my grandson was about 1 month ago. We are back here again and we definitely love this place. Not only is it so close to home but the prices are so reasonable and just enough of more than a snack. We love it because we get to be a kid again. The staff is wonderful and there is enough seating areas. Never have to worry about it being stuff in here because the AC is always on. There is a little dance room for the kids to have fun and dance around. This place is perfect if you just want to let your kids get tired and have a good time. See you soon!!! read more

We visited for the first time on Labor Day Monday and it was chaotic. There were 4 different birthday parties simultaneously happening. We got in before most of them started but by the time we left the line was out the door with mostly party attendees waiting to check in. Inside was crowded with very little staff on the grounds. No one is monitoring the toddler area (3 years old and younger) and older kids are going into the space and playing roughly. Not sure if this place is normally this understaffed or they did not expect how busy it would be on a holiday with 4 parties going on. I assume they are still working out some kinks but I hope they can improve the experience. read more

This location is huge and is such a fun place for kids! The playground is clean, spacious, and has plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. The staff was friendly and helpful (especially Taylor), and the whole place had a great, welcoming atmosphere. My daughter had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave! I was extremely disappointed with our experience at this play place. It was far too overcrowded, and there appeared to be little to no supervision in the actual play areas. There were older children and teenagers playing in spaces clearly intended for babies and toddlers, which made it difficult for the younger children to play safely. We witnessed children throwing large LEGO blocks at other people, and unfortunately, my own child was hurt by another child during our visit. What was especially concerning was that there didn't seem to be any employees monitoring the play areas, and the parent of the child involved was nowhere to be found. The facility was also not well maintained. The bathrooms were dirty, there was trash on the floors, and the only employees I saw were the three workers at the front, who appeared overwhelmed. I understand that businesses can get busy, but there needs to be better crowd control, cleanliness, and active supervision--especially in a place designed for young children. Unfortunately, we did not feel that our children were safe here and will not be returning. read more

The space is new and clean. I have a toddler (2 years old) and I just feel that the space is definitely targeting older kids, ages between 5-9. There's an area for babies, but older kids also use it so it's challenging. There are no signs of "suggested ages." My biggest issue with this place is the check in part. I've been there during the weekend and it's mayhem. So disorganized and chaotic. I'm sure weekdays are better. read more

My 2-year-old had a great time, but as a parent I wasn't impressed. The AC was TERRIBLE it was hot and muggy, and even the air blowing through the older kids play structure felt warm. My biggest concern was the toddler/diaper-only area. It was full of much older kids, which made it feel unsafe for toddlers. Staff needs to do a better job enforcing the age restrictions, and there was not any staff supervision. It's only been about a week since they opened, and some of the equipment is already damaged, which was disappointing to see. The place has a lot of potential, but if they don't improve the AC, supervise the play areas better, and keep up with maintenance, I can see it going downhill quickly. read more

So much fun even though I'm like 14. I went there for a birthday party and I while I was respectful with the smaller kids, I bolted through that place. Nothing crazy just tried everything and played some hide n seek. Would recommend for all ages. Just make sure when you go down the slide no one's coming up it. Also if you go on the sled slide keep in mind theirs no sign that says you have to give the sled for the next person, so be patient with the kids. Last of all there might be some kiddos getting lost so just ask them if they're okay and stick with them until they find their parents. read more
