MyGym is a great gym for kids, my 2 year old has a blast here. The teachers are so great with the kids and setup creative and fun activities for the kids to do each class; our last class there was an awesome puppet show. The setup of the class and activities has been rearranged almost every week which makes it feel like a different gym each time. There are also open gyms included in the membership where your little one can have free play. All of the parents/caregivers were very friendly, seems like a great community. The structure of the class so far has been: a little free play, circle time with songs and warm up exercises, learning to do a new "gymnastic exercise" with your little one and trying it a couple times, free play while they set up a fun activity that each child gets one turn to do, they set up swings (enough for most), maybe one more setup activity, books laid out for story time, then a goodbye song. Considering everything that is included in the membership, I think it is a great value. I canceled my membership after a month because my son got sick twice in 3 weeks, but there is a minimum 2 months you must pay. I was told they had a strict sick policy which is why I joined, but unfortunately they do not enforce it as we saw a ton of sick kids and parents each open gym and class. This may be fine for many, but just not for us since my son is not in school yet and had only been sick 2-3x in his life before this. They do a great job of keeping the location clean, and sanitize after each open gym and class, but not as beneficial if many kids in the class are sick. I may try the class another year when getting sick frequently isn't as big of a deal for us. read more

We were members for about two years until my daughter got into a level that I couldn't easily make with work. I'm about to have my son start once he's a bit bigger, and no doubt we'll be going with him for a couple years, too. My daughter LOVED going to My Gym and especially loved Miss Cassie, who is just magic with the littles. But really their entire staff is outstanding and so fun with the kids. My daughter went from being super uncoordinated to being so much more athletic and safer with her abilities, too. Our daughter unabashedly loves this place. I will be sad when she ages out. I thought this would be a fun short term class, but over months the instructors have kept it fresh and interesting and she still loves to go. They offer an hour long "ninja" class that includes warm up, circle time, free play, and obstacle course type exercises that challenge balance, agility, coordination, and grip and core strength, among other things. These abilities are also explained clearly, in a developmentally appropriate way, to the children. The teaching is upbeat and encouraging in tone. There is always supervision and good teacher/student ratio even as class size fluctuates. If you need to go into the child play area as an adult - bring socks! read more

This review is based solely on my experience for the birthday party for my two boys I had recently celebrated. I cannot say enough kind words about this place . The two hosts I apologize I forgot their name since it was a few weeks ago were so accommodating and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. I wanted something seamless and stress free since I have four little ones . I wanted to set things up but they took it upon themselves to set up clean throughout the end. I was so relieved. Just an updated review, a few years later with baby #2! My 16 month old is very active, and has been walking for 6 months now. MyGym is perfect for him!! They are clean, friendly, kind, and keep it moving nonstop! My baby has the absolute best time here, it's so good for his development. My 4 year old also loves it still!! Came here for the first time for a kids birthday party. Oh what a fun experience it was. Surprised how small it is compare to others but don't let that deter you. This place offers lots of fun activities for your kiddos to keep busy and entertained. Their party package is highly recommended. The instructors were all so nice and handled all the crazy running kiddos well Love how you can bring your own food and drinks here for your party guests. I have attended as a guest at a party and now as a customer. The adult and kids had a great time at our second birthday celebration for our son. The state did fantastic last night and with the location being so close to costco (and allowing outside food/drinks), it makes it easy to set up and plan. You have 15 mins for set up but with the staff members helping, it is enough time. You get a two hour timeframe but with the age group we had (between 1-10), it was a good enough time and allowed everyone to be in a safe/enclosed area. read more

So many fun activities! My girl loves it here. She works on motor skills and gets to socialize with babies her age. At first I was al little hesitant because it looks like it for toddlers when you walk in but the staff is incredible. They create activities and cater to the age level your child is at. They provided activities for my 10 month old and made me feel comfortable taking my baby here. They remembered her name and it made it extra special. Definitely recommend! We're so grateful to pick My Gym for our 5 year old birthday celebration! The place is super clean, the staff are very accommodating, warm, friendly, and super helpful! We love this place!! We joined a class a couple years ago and had an amazing time. My daughter was only 8 months and it was amazing how many activities they had for her age! We also visited more recently for a birthday party for a friend turning 3, it was 2 hours of non-stop fun! Now we have enrolled my daughter in their winter camp and we are super excited! It sounds like so much fun! The teachers have always been welcoming and kind and super friendly with the kiddos. I like how this gym is geared more towards younger children, especially toddlers. We recently started taking our daughter to My Gym after hearing about it from a neighbor. What a great find! And something our COVID-era baby desperately needed to help get socialized :) Good sized space, all covered with foam padding. Equipment spread out throughout the gym including trampolines, bars, balancing beam, basketball hoops, etc. Classes are divvied up based on age groups and developmental skills with appropriate activities planned for each session. Through these sessions, our kiddo has definitely built up more confidence. She was the one crying on the swings, but now goes down a zipline all smiles! They have open gym times when there aren't scheduled sessions, which is a great bonus. Their instructors are warm, welcoming, and invested in the children. We held my sons second birthday here. The online reservation was easy and the event coordinator called to ensure my questions were answered. I received several emails to ensure all guests had policy information as well as tips for the party itself. Two people helped us set up when we arrived. All the children enjoyed the event. I just wanted to give these guys a shout for the great job they've been doing during these challenging times. We've been sending our toddlers here for a while now, but even more so recently since taking them out of preschool when Covid hit. I'll admit that I was a little apprehensive about sending them back to any group activities, but the guy's here have done a great job in implementing safety measures and practicing cleanliness and good hygiene. Most of all, my kids love it. We've had them in for various different classes, from open gym sessions to preschool prep. And no matter how many times a week they go, they can't wait to go back. That's just a testament to the effort these teachers put in to create new ways to challenge and engage our kids. There are other kids that are in her age group that she gets to observe and "socialize" with. She loves playing with all the obstacle courses and toys. We just finished Summer Camp at My Gym for my 3-year-old, who will now transition into full-time preschool. I'm so happy to have found My Gym back when he was just a year old. We tried it out using the first free class (make sure you take advantage of this!), and I loved it and I think signed him up for it right then and there. I felt it was a safe and clean place for my energetic boy to learn to walk, tumble, jump, etc. all while in a well-padded environment. We signed up for Waddlers then graduated to Gymsters, both of which are 50 minutes long and require parent involvement. Then the pandemic hit and My Gym adjusted and adapted with online classes. As my boy had little tolerance for online learning, we unfortunately had to stop. The online classes were really fun though, with Mr. Neil, Miss Nicole, and Miss Kristen teaching and playing with the kids through the screen. I thought they did such a great job at that, and what was even better, was that it gave us a chance to check out some other classes where he was able to learn some letters of the alphabet in what I think was early preschool prep. In June of this year, I decided to look into their Summer Camp program and after inquiring, was told that I still had some credits to use from the time they were shut down. No way I'm going to miss out on that, so I signed up for the 10-day flex pass, and I ended up taking him a couple of times a week for about 5-6 weeks, which got us through the summer. It was wonderful to be able to drop him off for 3 hours (for my sanity) and know that he was learning and having fun while doing so. The teachers there are so helpful, caring, compassionate, and they really connect with all the students. I was worried my guy was going to be the youngest in camp (it goes up to age 8), but he seemed to get along well and was able to follow along with the other kids with some help from the teachers. They never pressured him to do anything he didn't want to, but he got just the right amount of encouragement. I really feel that because of the foundation he got at My Gym when he was younger, it helped him with coordination, developmental motor skills, and interaction with other kids. This transitioned to when we went to the playground, and now he is jumping all over the place. It makes me laugh when I think back to when he was younger, and I asked Mr. Neil, "When will he be able to jump with both feet?" Mr. Neil was like, "Don't worry, it'll happen." And now I'm paying for it, because he jumps off everything, no matter how high it is. lol If you're hesitant, just sign up for the free class to check it out, there's no pressure! It was clean before pandemic, it's even cleaner now, if that's possible, and the only thing that's not available is the ball pit (my son asks about it every time he goes). They change up the room every week, so it is always something different and new and fun to explore for the little ones. The activities and stories they have are fun and amazing and I would write down the songs they used and add to my Spotify list. We will have some credits left, so I might try to sign him up for a weekend class just so we can see the teachers again. We just love it so much! read more

Tried out an introductory Gymsters class for 18m - 2.5y. From the minute you walk in, you feel like you're home. The director, Neil was warm and welcoming as were the other mums. The class was well organized and a good mix of structured circle time and free play. The instructor, Nicole was professional and fun. Great music, energy and vibes. FYI - Socks required for adults. Very well organized activities that vary each time we go. We are on a weekly schedule. The teachers are engaging and try to encourage without pressuring the kids to play. They also give positive feedback and remind kids of the rules of play and taking turns. Mr Neil is natural with kids and provides entertaining commentary even for the parents watching. read more

We started this class a little over a month ago. Although the teachers were nice and tied to make it fun, it was not a good fit for my child. Each week the children work on a new gymnastic skill, however they only get to practice this skill two times, the rest of the time they are just sitting and watching the other children practice the skill. Then the skill does not return because the next week they are working on a completely different skill. So there is really no opportunity for the children to get better at any of the skills they are introduced to. They also have a lot of free time, but if I am spending all this money for a class I would much rather they are learning something, vs. just playing on the indoor jungle gym. I could easily take them to the park with similar equipment (slides, money bars) for free. The program is also not sensory friendly, they play very loud music throughout the class that was extremely distracting and made it hard to hear what the teachers were asking the children to do. Again the teachers are very nice, but not a great use of my money. My child did not like the class and we have canceled the classes. I will be looking for another class that is a little more active and skill based for my child. read more

There is no other place I'd bring my little chickadee for an amazing gym experience than My Gum in Tustin. The entire staff is incredible - Neal, Kristin, Nicole, and everyone else. So knowledgeable, so patient and easy going with all of the kids. We can't wait for our weekly classes because it's such a fun adventure each and every time. The gym has always been very well sanitized and clean, but during the pandemic they have really maintained an extra clean and safe environment for the kids, their parents, and the staff. Our baby girl has benefited so much from interacting with other littles her size, expending extra energy climbing and jumping, and being in a healthy safe environment outside of our home. Went here for a 6 year olds birthday party. Super fun for the kids and the staff are great. One major thing that they need to improve is the seating for the adults while the kids are playing. There was not enough seats for everyone so some people had to stand around for hours, not cool. Also the bathrooms are literally positioned right in front of the standing areas, weird and uncomfortable. I hope you don't have to take a dump because that would be embarrassing. I ended up sitting in my car for the last 15 minutes of the party because it was so uncomfortable waiting for it to end. read more
