I had my son's 2nd birthday party here. This is our second time at this location. Before we came, the host was calling to say card readers was down and parents need to bring cash. It's like 30 min before the party start time. I requested the side area, I had a fairly large party. For the price, it's great $450-$500. I recommend booking the last party. So you're not rushed to clean etc. Tons of things to do. Cons: My party host went on break and didn't mention anything to us. I was looking for her for over an hour. then I finally asked someone else and they were like oh she's on break. The first time I went staff was very attentive to the children and jungle gym area. This is time not so much. Staff needs some proper training with a stronger leader. Overall, nice place and fun for children. read more

Kids Empire Linden - Indoor Playcenter Near Me - Linden, New Jersey

Came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon with my toddler and infant. Place was busy but there were still some empty tables available so I sat in front of the infant/toddler section. Both my kids had a great time here. My toddler loved going down the slides and riding the motorcycles. We paid $10 for 50 flames (like game credits) and their motorcycle rides cost only 5 flames, and lasts couple minutes. Place was pretty big. The balls in the ball pit were visibly dirty with black spots on some of them. The toddler/infant section is only supposed to be for toddlers/babies still in their diapers but occasionally I see some bigger kids in there. One of them ran fast and knocked into my toddler causing him to cry. There was no attendant there that monitored the area. I had limited interaction with the workers there so can't really comment on the service. Place runs on the warm side so dress light when u come in. Overall, I will be coming back. read more

The staff was very nice and did a great job keeping the bigger children out of the toddler area.

One staff member was extremely rude to the children. I will not describe her in this post to ensure her safety. They need to monitor the behavior of staff members while interacting with the children. When told these are children and she needs to be mindful as to how she speaks to them, her response was "whatever". I then spoke with the manager. She did apologize; however, they really need training or more training. read more

I have had two bad experiences here as far as birthday parties and I highly don't recommend throwing parties here for your kid. For one they lie on the phone about having a private room and they have none. There are only tables no rooms! They over charge. Also one time they tried to kick out a party that was booked from 5-8 because that's when they close but that's wrong because if that's the time that's booked so that's wrong. Following that time for another party they stole candy and just are not professional at all. Yes it's just candy but it's the principal of it this is a kid friendly place you shouldn't take something that's not yours! The caucasian lady at the front counter was very mean, rude & just nasty. (the one with no teeth in her mouth). If you don't like your job then find a new one. I came in after driving 2 hours for a family members birthday party. My child is 1 and small so she wasn't really going to be playing anyway. I just wanted to drop off the gift and show love to the birthday boy. It was nearing the end of the party BUT you are allowed to stay until closing you just can't keep the tables for eating. This lady said I couldn't come in cause the party was about to be over. I explained my child was playing or eating so it was fine and I know that they weren't leaving immediately. ALSO prior to me getting there, my cousin gave our names at the front because my child was paid & accounted for. I then reached out to a family member who had to come and speak with the staff. ( she didn't like this). The other staff then said we could come in because like I had stated previously the policy is that you can stay as long as you want you just have to give up the tables for the next party. She didn't like this at all. While now proceeding to do the waivers and ask for them she mumbled under her breath calling me a B**ch .. Lucky for her I had my child with me and there were many kids around so I didn't say what I really wanted to. It's a nice place however, the staff could be better trained. They are rude and not attentive. They should have someone in the jungle gym area to insure safety. To many kids falling on top of each other. Best to go in the morning not so crowded. Also, they do not have change so don't bring cash. As if the snacks and drinks aren't already over priced you 1.25 snack will turn into $2 if you don't have exact change. Had to potential to be great sad that they can't figure it out. read more

There was a rude and nasty manager checking in several families 1/28/24. So many people had side conversations about her rudeness. One person had the cops called on her when she made a prayer statement. The manager claimed it was a threat. The threat was the negative treatment of several families in front of their children. Another parent attempted to tell the cops about that manager; as they spoke to that lady who prayed. Other posts also mentioned the cops being called. This place will lose business. this place stole my money for a party I reserved in March I booked the party and cancelled it due to a family emergency with in 2 days of booking and paying for it upfront. I advised the location of the need to cancel and was advised I would be refunded this is the day and I have yet to be issued my refund! This is stealing and they don't answer emails and we can't get in contact with anyone the manager even emailed corporate and nothing! this is disgraceful and I will never spend money at this establishment ever again!!!!! Had to have exact change to buy a drink. Too crowded, too hot, too many kids in the maze at one time. No employees inside equipment to promote safety. We were at a party and they brought warm soda and warm water as "refreshments.". As soon as we sang Happy Birthday and began cutting the cake , they wanted us to clean up... I had my 2 year old son Birthday party at the linden location. My son and his cousins and friends had so much fun. The staff were great !!! my host was Robin and let me tell you how great of a person she was. she made our entire experience great! She clearly loves her job and enjoy bringing joy to the families. Took my 2 yr old niece and she had a blast! I also had a great time as it is really fun for a wide age range. I will say they need to work on temp control. Especially for a place where kids are running and doing physical activities, it was HOT! Waaaaay to hot. Kids and parents were sweating.
