Do not recommend. They turn the lights off with no warning for parents or the kids. The first visit met up with my friend and their kids and shortly after arriving my kids were in the play area for the first time and they turned the lights completely off TERRIFYING my kids. My one child went there again for a field trip (after I assumed a different location therefore a better experience and lights staying on) and once again they were up in the play area and the lights went off again. No warning no nothing. This is reckless and dangerous for the kids to be playing they could fall in one of the holes. read more

A-lot of things for children all ages to do $22 for all day not bad. They also have snack inside but there too expensive for what they are.

Horrible place horrible management. Do not accommodate nor treat special needs children with any decency. Corporate has not responded to a refund which I was told I was going to get since we ended up leaving, in over 4 weeks. Stay away I warn u, go to make believe or any other place! Definitely worth going safe,fun and clean. Giving three stars because we got there at 10 when they were suppose to be open and one of the workers was there waiting. she said they needed to get a key from the manger that was left .... we didn't even get in until 10:45. Maybe need someone a little bit more responsible in charge. read more

The whole place is filthy. They make you take your shoes off and walk on sticky floors covered in garbage. No one cleans anything. No one supervises the kids to make sure they're being safe, and half the equipment is extremely dangerous even when used as directed. Great place if you're looking for a Staph infection though. read more

I never leave reviews but after what I heard other parents saying today I felt like I needed to. Yes a child had an accident in the play area but it's a children's place and things happen. The staff exceeded my expectations on how they handled it. They had it cleaned up in no time. The manager in the black shirt came to us and apologized which wasn't even needed. Don't give your money to a place that discriminates against handicapped children!!!!! I'm literally writing this post behind tears. Today my family and I visited Kids Empire in Great Northern Mall- Ohio for the first time. We went with friends who had already paid to get in with their child. Once we got there I realized that there wasn't anything for my disabled daughter to do. Knowing this, she still wanted to go in as she loves the interactions with other kids and watching her brother play. I was told that we still had to pay the $23 for her to go in regardless if she's playing or not. I was taken aback as she's literally in a wheelchair so wouldn't be taking up any of their space- mind you, you don't have to pay for adults who come in with their children and can easily use/go on the equipment. I asked if this is their normal protocol for handicapped people, she said this was their first encounter. I told the manager, Janelle, to reach out to someone above her to find the proper protocol so it can be a learning experience for them because I wouldn't want another family to go through the same thing. While waiting for her to get the answers my kids were being impatient (friends were already inside playing) so I was going to just pay for both kids to go in. Janelle came back as I was about to swipe my card saying that we had to pay for her regardless anyway. Out of frustration I told her "fine, whatever, but the is Bullshit". I was then told that I wasn't allowed to go in at all and my family and I had to leave. She immediately called mall security to kick us out. Even mall security was baffled in disbelief, but said that it was their place and he had no control over who they allow in. Their blatant ignorance and discrimination against handicapped children blew me away as I've never dealt with that before. My daughter has always been met with grace, especially in our community, so disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how I was made to feel. The fact that she's nonverbal but fully comprehends what's going on broke my heart for my girl. She's smart and aware. It was never about the money, I swear to you. It's the principle. They're new, never had an encounter with a handicapped child coming to their facility and handled it in the most disgusting way possible. read more

we go there today with my disabled daughter who is wheel bound and my son and they wanted us to pay full price for my daughter who can't enjoy the whole experience because it's not handicap accessible.... when we got upset that they are discriminatory towards handicapped children they kicked us out ...believe me they will be hear from our lawyers read more
