Walk-in's are not welcome. Waited for over an hour at least while people were coming in after us and going right back to get cut. We ended up leaving because we didn't plan on waiting for hours. We will find another place. I understand that they are appointments appointments walking in but if you accept walk-in's, you also need to make time for them. Awesome place! My 4 year old son is autistic and it is difficult to find a barber shop that he is comfortable with. The staff here are very patient with him. His favorite stylist is Ms Dina. I have no idea why the low reviews because today was our first time for my 2 boys and they did such a great job - the best haircut they've ever had in their entire life! We made an appointment and got there 15 minutes early. We requested long on top and off the sides and back with a blend and boom..the lady delivered! we go there on a regular basis and see Jess. We love Jess and she does great work with our 3 year old son. Today we came spontaneously, Teresa (I think that's her name) was there all alone. I told her we looking to keep the length and style the hair. She was very rude and agresiv with our son. He never cried during hair cut but she pulled his head down and to every direction without explaining what to expect and he started to cry so bad. He said he wants to stop and go. Of course watching her work I immediately told her to stop and that we are done. The hair cut wasn't done at all but a slight trim behind the ears and the back of the neck which made him cry. Me and my son were so overwhelmed, and to add to that, in the cash register, Teresa charged us $20 for a full hair cut. I told her that we didn't finish to style it since she was so aggressive and my son don't want her to touch him, so why are we charged full price, she claimed that since she trimmed the back, and the ears and was able to cut a piece from the bangs that it's full hair cut. This is The worst experience we ever had, she didn't even realized she hurt the child, she ignored his tears, she didn't finish the cut, but she felt confident to charge full price without an apology. We won't be coming back, and I won't recommend this place. horrible.... read more

Very unpleasant experience here. They charged $20 to cut 1/4 inch of my 1 year olds hair and bangs. Their sign says $10 for bangs. The woman didn't even bother combing it or blow drying for my baby. It would be one thing if she wasn't behaving but my child wasn't even making any fuss. My son also got his hair cut here and there was no blow drying. He left with hair all over his face which the hair dresser could have brushed off for him but didn't. Don't want to pull the race card but other customers were treated far better. Since they were closed on a random Tuesday when I dropped by last I tried again today. Two year old super excited! Place is empty except for the stylist who is doing a lady's highlights. I thought this place was just for kids and have been told they don't do above 14. Whatever no big deal, guess they changed the policy, cool. Been going on and off for ten years and after waiting 30 mins with no response or communication from the stylist ... I won't ever go back. When stylist finally communicates she runs back and disappears into the back for a few more minutes. My toddler now is ready to go and not wanting a haircut. I know it's going to be a battle to get him back into the mode .... and I could have gone ahead but decided not to wage it with this stylist who clearly could NOT have cared less about my kids haircut ( or doing her job) so I decided to scratch it. I should have done more research, but I didn't think I needed a high end salon to trim my 15-month old daughter's bangs. I could have done a better job myself after watching a YouTube tutorial. "Walked in" with my 2 year old for a cut on the Saturday afternoon before Thanksgiving. There were at least 5-6 kids in front of us and while skeptical about the length of a potential wait I decided to roll the dice. He had a blast playing with the toys in the waiting area - to the point where when it was time to get his cut (only 20 minutes later!) he was pretty upset. Amy had nerves of steel and quickly went to work. Despite his best efforts, my sons hysterics didn't shake her and he got the best cut of his life! Can't beat it for $14. Filthy and rude. Jessica and Amy both have cut my kids hair. Not only is the salon FILTHY but the service is even worse. Jessica cut my kids hair the first time we went, not a single word came out of her mouth the entire time I was there. My 15 month old was fidgeting and she rolled her eyes... Disappointed. I saw the pictures on the website and it looked adorable. To my dismay the salon smelled dirty. The two ladies working were super busy. A younger girl greeted us and informed me of a 45 minute wait. The only reason I stayed was because my husband can't come with me during the week and I have toddler twins. The girl that greeted me did a great job on my son's hair but didn't sweep or even wipe out the huge clumps of hair from the previous kids. The seat was actually lined with kid hair. The place is cute and the stylist are great with kids. They know how to work with wiggling squirmy kiddos. Neither women are super approachable but I don't actually care, I'm there for a haircut not a social engagement. Jessica does a fantastic cut. I tell her what I want and she remembers every time. Amy does horrible cuts unless you tell her exactly what you want and what you don't want. She gives all the little boys the same buzz cut unless YOU specify something else. In the womans defense, they aren't super social because they are cutting your childs hair and focusing on that, they are super busy all the time, and most of the people tip really poorly. I've seen many people tip only a few dollars after they spent 20 minutes with your whining crying wiggly kid and you watching every snip over their shoulders. read more

Cute environment but bad haircuts. We've come several times - my son likes it because of the toys, the fun cars to sit in and the movies that are on. The haircuts have been hit and miss. We have always seemed to have fine haircuts with Jessica and haven't always been thrilled when we've had Amy. The cuts with her seem to come out choppy and she seems disinterested and as though she is just rushing. Both my mom, sister, and mother in law commented on the poor haircut - choppy, uneven, etc. This was all AFTER we went back in to make Amy fix it. We are going to try somewhere else next time. If I could give NO stars I would..... please do not bring your children here I gave this place 3 shots and every time they blew it!!! The first time I brought my son here it was a two and a half hour wait with one woman cutting hair unacceptable!!! The second time I brought my son here the woman who cut my sons hair acted like she was on drugs and was all over the place she didn't cut my sons hair the way I asked and again the third and final time I brought him to this facility, I asked the woman to trim my sons hair! My son has beautiful curls in his hair and it was getting too long so I wanted to trim it not even a half inch. The woman took the buzzers to my sons hair and basically cut it all the way to the scalp!!!! What part of trim do hairdressers not understand????? She shaved my sons hair and not only did she shave it but really uneven!!! Please just save yourself the time and aggravation and not go here!!!! We used to think this place was OK, not great haircuts but doable to have the toys and cars to sit in. The last time we went however, we realized my son had lice within a week of his haircut. He didn't have it before going to kids cuts...of course it could be a coincidence but the timing was very suspect. I don't think they clean the combs or scissors between customers. Very disappointed with this business, especially the owner who treated me very rudely today in front of my family and other customers. We have brought my sons here several times because of the cute chairs, and playroom but it's just not worth it anymore. The wait is always horrible as they don't open until 10AM and the lines are always long with only two stylists at a time. Yesterday I made an appointment for the first time for today at 11:30, so we wouldn't have to wait an hour in the shop. I arrived, signed in and WAITED until one of the stylists had finished her client and mentioned that we ( the 11:30 AM appts) were here. The owner literally rolled her eyes, made the nastiest face and looked at the stylist in disgust that I had announced our presence. She is consistently rude and in a bad mood. Don't go here!
