I Love love love this store!! The items in the store are either brand new or like new. As I am a grandma to be, I had so much fun shopping in this great store!! I have been there 3 times in the past 2 months and bought amazing things!! My son and daughter in law were very pleased with what I bought them. The prices are very good and you can't beat the quality. And Sara is as nice as can be. No other consignment/thrift store can compare to the quality of merchandise you'll find here. I found it hard to believe the merchandise was used. I will keep this short and cute even though I could go on forever with why one should NOT deal with this business.... The first time I was in the store my 4 year old daughter said to me "Mommy, is that woman a witch?" She was referring to the owner of the store. I immediately reprimanded her and let her know it was not proper to speak in this manner. Fast forward 3 visits later.....now I realize my daughter was right...SHE IS MUCH WORSE THAN A WITCH. She should NOT be in a family oriented business. She is extremely rude and snotty, it is degrading doing business in any way shape or form with this store. I would prefer to donate my items than to be put through the abusive temperament of this woman. read more

Kids n' Kribs is a wonderful little childrens' boutique. The owner Sarah is so nice, and you can tell she loves helping customers find exactly what they need. When selling, be sure to bring items that are "like-new" -- what makes the store successful is that they only accept items in excellent condition, so you can be confident that your consigned items are very likely to be purchased. And as a shopper, you can get a great deal on quality items. The consignment rule is that items will be sold for 50% of the original cost, and you get a percentage of that amount, and while it may not sound like much, I can tell you from experience -- as compared to ebay -- that your items will sell faster with a LOT less work. I dropped off two very nice baby equipment items in November of 2016. Both sold quickly - one in December of 2017, one in January of 2018. I am a snow bird and stopped in to pick up my payment before going back home. The owner said her computer was down, that I'd have to come another time. I got back to FL just before the holidays and stopped today, January 3rd to collect my payment. Though the owner had all the information in her journal, refused to reimburse me, claiming her 12 month policy was in effect despite the fact I'd come in last Spring, nor that one of the items had sold less than 12 months ago, she refused to pay. read more

What a great consignment store! Stumbled upon this one afternoon with grandmother and baby in tow. We left with some great children's book for my munchkin and some great toys in wonderful condition. Grandmother has since returned multiple times. They have a phenomenal selection of clothing in wonderful shape, cribs, strollers, baby carriers, swings and bouncers. The woman working the front was wonderfully helpful, and very welcoming. Baby items can add up, and with babies outgrowing toys and clothing so quickly this is a great place to find some higher priced items at a great deal! read more

The owner is very particular about the items she takes in so that she can offer premium items at very good prices. Everyone I have encountered at this store is unfriendly and cold. It is not a pleasant experience. Still, they do have nice merchandise for sale. The woman who owns the store is rude and very snotty to her consignors but she seems to have a very stressful job--perhaps that's why she is so rude? I felt the same way the first time I was there but then she definitely got better. If you call her out on her snottiness and rudeness and kill her with kindness she kind of comes around. I have taken clothing here several times in the past 2-3 years and each time I go I have a really bad experience with the owner. I always say I'm never going back, but each time I try giving her another chance. She is rude and acts as if she is bothered by you if you bring in anything below her standards (which are not even listed on her website). She acts more like an employee who hates her job then an owner! Even when she tries to be nice it is ingenue. I appreciate that she has high standard, but that does not mean that you have to be rude to your customers. I am a business owner and I believe that no matter what, one should never treat customers with an nasty attitude. Word of mouth is huge for a small business. Brick and mortar businesses are slowly disappearing with online shopping. There are so many easier ways to consign on line. Without excellent customer service to EVERYONE EVERY-TIME that walks through your doors it's only a matter of time before your doors will sadly shut down for good. read more

I am a shopper and a consigner. I absolutely love this store and the ladies who run it. They are such amazing women to be running a business like this for the community. The merchandise on the floor doesn't even look like it has been used at all ! The negative comments on this page are probably people who got mad because they tried to bring in clothing with stains, toys that were broken, and generally anything that was not in like new condition. The women that run this store work hard enough, they do not want to have to do laundry because you brought something in with stains. When I consign and they don't accept something I do not get offended I am pleased that they took what they could take. I love buying great items with my credit! read more

I first went to Kids N' Kribs to buy my daughter a crib 9 years ago. At the time I was unable to afford a high end nursery and buying something gently used was perfect. I loved the store so much that I have continued to buy and consign over the years. What I love about the store is that the clothes are of the highest quality. When I consign I know that it is important to bring in items that could be considered 'like new.' (I am not clear what the negative reviews below are about. Sounds a bit like they brought in items that did not meet condition requirements and are dismayed. I am never offended when we sort though items.) The operators have been running the store since 1982 as a service to the community. There are not many kids consignment stores left and there is a reason this one survives. Quality!! My daughter (who is almost 10) loves going there because she knows that there is always something unique to discover that will meet our needs. Again, this store is a gem! read more

The owner/daughter of the owner is horrific. She talks down to you and your items. I can see politely saying no thank you. I dropped off brand new clothes items with tags on it she went through everything and made nasty comments at it all. She then said I needed to go home and iron them and bring them back and put them on hangers. It was not so much what she said, but how she said it (like I was disgusting). When I said forget it Ill just take them to the thrift store it is not worth it she said, "oh no, i will take them." I dropped off something that sold and she told me my share was $30.00, but it was not the right day to claim the money. I came back several times and it was not the right day. When I came back again she said she had no record of me or my large item and if I didnt save the little paper she gave me with the confirmation number she couldn't help me. Who the heck keeps that little paper. She puts it into the computer so I had no idea I had to keep this thing. She was rude as usual. I have dealt with consignment stores growing up like "Kiss a Kid" and have never dealt with someone like this women or the crazy strict weird rules they have for getting your money or items they accept. read more
