I've been a few times now and have found that if you come 30-45 minutes before the show starts you'll find a decent parking spot a few rows back. Come earlier if you want something better. The rows of parking are nice and angled so you can position your car properly. Sound comes in through their FM station and was fairly clear. Just remember that it's a drive-in. You're not going to get amazing sound over your cars FM radio and the projector, while completely fine and visible, is still outside and won't be as sharp as the theater. The experience is definitely worth it though, especially considering you get two new movies. The concessions are okay. This last time I had the Lava Wings. I'm not sure what the lava part was for, they weren't spicy at all. They were good though. They have all the other usual theater things as well. You are supposed to buy a $2 per person "bring your own food" pass when you buy your tickets (if you're brining in your own stuff). Those $2 can be used towards anything in the concessions though, so that is nice. Hopefully this place will stay around for years to come, it's a great thing to do in the area. We were already staying one night at Capitol Reef Resort, and it was super convenient to add it onto my room booking.  We chose the 4 hour hike and our guide was informational and friendly. There were only 4 people and 4 llamas plus our guide at our time slot. Our llamas Hugo and Benny were beautiful and kept us smiling the whole time. My hubby normally does not enjoy hiking but the 4 miles went by pretty quickly! We did get a few short 10-15 minute breaks. Our llama also carried the tables, chairs, food, and drinks for our picnic.  Our guide made us a Caprese sandwich and we got to enjoy the view with some cheesecake after. We got tons of beautiful pictures and videos with our llamas.  This was such a memorable experience and we were so happy to hike with the friendly and well behaved creatures.  When we hiked back to our hotel, we got to say good-byes by feeding the llamas some treats and taking more pictures.  I highly recommend this to anyone who loves llamas!

Capitol Reef is off the beaten path for most travelers, but it's a cool park and the rock formations are fascinating. We stayed at the Capitol Reef Resort (which was also great) and they had signs for llama hikes. What the heck is a llama hike?? My almost 60 year old Mom was a skeptic. I went on Instagram and found the company is rooted in Idaho, but have expanded across the country. I didn't have phone service so I did email contact and tried to use the hotel phone. Within minutes I got a response! This was 15 hours notice and they said we were in. AWESOME. So the llamas come up over the hill and I'm like -- this is amazing already and it only got better from there. Our guide, Jessiny, was so kind, knowledgeable and treated us to a wonderful 2 hour walk/hike in the washes of Capitol Reef, an area hardly traversed. Also, the guide/hike was just us! They do this private reservation thing so it's just your booking and the guide -- what?! All for $180?? What a steal. Let's get to the llamas. My skeptical mother was smitten within minutes. They are these giant, fluffy, adorable creatures that want to cuddle, walk with you and just chill while you walk around the outskirts of Capitol Reef. It's like having a giant camel-like dog by your side. You can put your stuff in their packs and feed them treats. It's the absolute BEST. Our guide was also super cool about making stops, getting water and taking pictures. She was also attuned to our pace and energy levels. The whole experience was outstanding and it made memories forever. Do this while you are here, it was worth every penny. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I miss my llama already.

Without his contribution tv would not have come about. The quaint small and informative museum. The volunteers who run the museum are friendly, full of information, and very knowledgeable about this museum and the surrounding areas. It features information about local celebrities. Such as Ardis Fisher who wrote "Mountain Man". The book was turned into the movie "Jeremiah Johnson". Fun facts about Jefferson County. The first TV tube, early pre-electric era, and early electric-era items are also on display. Many Indian artifacts which were unearthed during the early years of Rigby are here to be seen. It also tells about several doctors that made home visits back in the day. I remember those days when doctors came to your home. 14,000 square feet. There are pictures of the surrounding areas and who used to own what before it was purchased and subdivided. Lots of local history and information. Needless to say, this museum is not very big but it really is a must-see. Plus it is on the way to Heise Hot Springs or Swimming Pool, Rexburg, Jackson Hole Wy., Yellowstone National Park, or Grand Teton National Park. Allow at least 1=2 hour for viewing. Keep in mind, it is split up into eras and rooms. Cost is $1.00 for children and $2.00 per adult. Please keep in mind this is the History of Rigby and Jefferson County. Being from the local area and a retired homeschooler I highly recommend this historic museum. Small museums like these are often overlooked but contain way more than you expect or realize.

HOWEVER, it is worth the time if you have the slightest interest. This is a small, volunteer run museum, feature local pioneer and celebrity history. THE celebrity is Philo Farnsworth, born in Idaho and inventor of the Television. HE is actually extremely interesting and the docents at the museum are experts on all of his work. He was a self taught physicist and engineer AND he invented HUNDREDS of things before his untimely death in 1972. Perhaps even more important, for yours truly in particular, he invented the incubator - saving the lives of millions of future babies, (me!)

It is an old building and has that vintage charm - including the marque. The staff pays attention to the movies and what's happening so if something is wrong they know. There are just curtains that separate the lobby from the theater so they can hear everything that's happening sound wise and are very prompt at fixing it. They have deals in the Starving Student card and all the high school cards. CONS: The bathrooms are old and small. But it's a really old building, too. They have a small lobby so when there's a premier it's kinda crowded in the lobby, BUT there's plenty of room for everyone in the theater (500 seats!), There's no drinking fountain, St. Anthony is only a 15 minute drive from Rexburg and the experience plus the lower cost is much more worth the drive than going to the first run theater (Fat Cats) in Rexburg. They do Superbowl parties there, and other events sometimes too! It's all streamed from an HD projector onto that huge screen.
