The staff is so friendly and helpful (I left my glasses and notebook behind at a meeting and they had everything waiting for me to pickup the next day). I kept finding little hidden gems sprinkled across the grounds and the building. The patio is lit with fairy lights and actually comfortable seating options. On our very first tour/ site visit, we fell in love with this beautiful space and loved how it met all of our needs (i.e. outdoor, approx. 100 guests, and local etc), so we didn't even look at any other venues before deciding our venue. This is a very unique and beautiful hidden gem for an intimate wedding (accommodates up to 150 guests) that includes spaces for ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, and getting ready. You have to essentially rent or bring everything (including bathroom trailer) but that means you have a lot of flexibilities to customize what you like/ want. The owners Laurie and Laurie Ellen (and their in-house day-of planner Katie) are so sweet and helpful in making the planning process and our wedding day as stress free as possible. They offered a date, and I confirmed with them that it was yes. The day of the tour, no one was around. All doors are locked. I went around the building, knocking and trying the doors, but got no response after calling and texting them for 30 minutes. So we left, my fiancé and I took the day off from work, and this is what happened. No callback, no trying to reach us, and no apology. No communication at all.

They also have a restaurant that has really nice ambiance overlooking the golf course. You can even just sit out there and enjoy the complementary water enjoying the view. The only negative about Oso Creek Golf Course is that they do NOT have a driving range. I like to warm up on the driving range before going out on the golf course and unfortunately you can't do that here.

Decently pretty course as well, with a few good water shots. Staff are nice, and pretty laid back. The meh: pace of play was brutal, to the point of being laughable at times. I believe they have golf clubs basically everyday of the week so 3:20 on a Tuesday took just under 5 hours. Literally every hole had a group of at least 4-5. Course is very close together considering it is an executive it's understandable to have errant shots; but pretty much every 2 holes we had a ball drop right near us....on a green. Overall: Marshall could be utilized better, did not see a beverage cart, but again it's an executive course I didn't expect one. Price is relatively cheap for the great course condition. Somewhat challenging for short game but still fun, I'm excited to come back.
