They've had a very high turnover for teachers in the 4 and 5 class and felt our son was not being prepared academically for kindergarten. Since Ms. Mandee left last year, there has not been consistency. Teachers leave after a few weeks. Ms. Daisy, Ms. Alana and Ms Sarah are wonderful with the children don't get me wrong and they are the glue that are holding this school together. The teachers were very understaffed as far as ratio to students. There were times I would pick up my son and the students are out of control and the teacher would look stressed out or overhelmed. You have the same disorderly children causing ruckus in the class. The last straw was when my son came home with marker on his face and so did three of his other classmates. Where was the supervision? Again, lack of staff.I do not blame the teachers but management for not hiring the needed staff. My son came home one day with a small puncture wound behind his ear from another chiId throwing a toy at his head and bruises because the kids couldnt keep their hands to themselves.I caught this when I was giving him his bath and the area was swollen with dried blood. No incident report was done on this. I felt it was more of a daycare and not a pre k program. When we did the tour, the owner stated that they will be teaching Spanish and sign language. Not the case. Snacks were generic Walmart brands and not the fresh, in house meals promised. Not to mention the tuition was much more expensive than the other schools in the area at over 285 a week.During rainy days, the children would watch movies on a small fire tablet instead of a regular television or having activities to do. Screen time is limited at home. You have 15 -20 kids trying to watch a 9 by 11 inch screen! I would think the owner would invest in a television instead of having 15+ kids watching a fire tablet.During the assessment at another school, the teacher even asked us what was being taught because our son was very behind as far as being prepared for kindergarten. Not a good sign.We were also still charged the 2 weeks for pulling our son out early. !!!Please be careful with these reviews and do your research. While my son was attending, they would hold raffles for tickets for good reviews and reviews from people that have left 5 star reviews for other KA locations!!! .Thankfully, we were able to get him into a great school and we couldnt be happier Academically, my son is excelling and he is happy with his new teachers. I feel much more confident that he is being prepared for kindergarten. My only regret not pulling him out sooner.

A tankless water heater was purchased from 3G Plumbing and installed by them. The water heater…read morefailed city inspection 3 times before approval by the inspector. The inspection required a larger gas meter, several gas regulators, and exhaust vent pipe none of which was initially installed by 3G Plumbing. I later had performance issues with my water heater. In my telephone conversation with the manufacturer I was informed that 3G Plumbing did not install an air intake pipe for venting outside which was the causing the performance issue. The manufacturer would not honor the equipment warranty until the pipe was installed. I contacted a qualified plumbing company that agreed with the manufacturer and made the necessary equipment correction per the installation instructions. Buyer beware. Do not use 3G Plumbing for water heater installation.

I am a resident of Wylie, and I needed observation hours for my bachelor's degree in education. I needed to complete my hours in Wylie because it was summer break, my children were at home, and I also needed to help take care of my elderly mother. I contacted many centers in Wylie and asked if I could complete my observation hours there. Unfortunately, some places did not give me an opportunity after they learned that I am Muslim. Then I contacted Kids Unlimited Early Care and Education and asked if I could observe at their center during July 2026. The Director, Ms. Vanessa Arce, welcomed me and treated me with kindness and respect. She completed my background check, and after everything was approved, she allowed me to complete my observation hours at the center. From my first day there, I felt welcomed. I saw how the teachers cared for the children, how the center was organized, and how much attention was given to creating a safe and positive environment for children. The center even has an indoor playground, which I thought was wonderful for the children. I promised myself that I would write a review so that other people could know about my experience. Ms. Vanessa Arce showed me that kindness and understanding can make a big difference in someone's life. At a time when I was having difficulty finding a place to complete my required hours, she gave me an opportunity and treated me with respect. I would encourage parents to look beyond just the services a childcare center provides. Before choosing a center, I believe it is important to learn about how the center treats families, teachers, children, and the community. We had arrived for our sons first day, they did not know who we were or where he was supposed to be. We were walked around for 10 minutes from room to room until she figured it out. The lady continued to say "we have just signed up so many children lately, hard to keep track of everyone" When we did finally meet his "teacher" for the day it was a very cold experience. No comfort for the child and not welcoming what so ever. We had hoped this was an off day and spoke with their director Rebecca the following day. We were told this is not the normal and apologized and informed us it will get better, they continue to praise and announce that they continue adding more children yet the current children are still not properly cared for. Not enough staff in the rooms, when we show up for drop off there are typically kids wrestling, kids in corners crying and all around it looks like one big mess. The teacher is usually with 20+ kids and it is not enough. Immediately after discussing our issues, it seemed to be a touch better for a couple days as there was a new teacher and she was a lot better. But that did not last long and she was transferred and he got another even colder teacher. Everyday we arrive it's a new teacher, chaos, no consistency, no compassion or caring. When you enter the classroom, the teachers barely even look at you. They really do need to dive deep into their hiring practice. Upon visiting before signup, they spoke a big game and the facilities were all clean, we were excited to the fact our child would be learning while there - this was not the case. He was just recently at Bright Horizons in Plano but we wanted to get him closer. We have never had an experience quite like this and honestly hope no other families have to go through the same experience. We have removed him from Children's Lighthouse and got him immediately into a much better facility.
