There's always some family friendly cartoon or Disney movie playing on the big screen and plenty of current reading material. Around 18-20 months in, an X-ray showed excellent progress. We were happy with the results and clearly told them we wanted to stop, understanding there might be a few minor imperfections remaining. Instead of respecting our decision, we were repeatedly pushed to continue. From March through August, every appointment became "next month will be the last." Yet every time, there was another reason to push it out. Then came the final straw. On the morning of our August appointment--which was supposed to be the final appointment--they called AGAIN asking to postpone us another month. When I refused, we were told we could come but should expect a very long wait. We arrived only 10-13 minutes late, prepared to wait, and were instead rudely told to leave because we were a "no-show " and the irony is that the office was visibly empty. We had to insist on speaking with management before they finally agreed to complete the treatment--after asking us to pay to finish off. After nearly two years of being reliable patients, never having payment issues, never creating appointment problems, and repeatedly accommodating their scheduling changes, this is how we were treated. We are extremely disappointed and would never recommend this practice. This experience taught us that a good treatment result is not enough. Respect, transparency, listening to patients, and respecting a family's time and decisions matter just as much. My cleaning was done to my liking as they cleaned it in detail and even buffed my teeth. (my last dentist i went to at a different location did not give me a good cleaning) After I got my teeth cleaned i requested if i can get this tooth fixed as a previous doctor who worked on it didn't do a good job and due to the technology they had in the office I was able to do it the same day rather than wait for the mold of the tooth to come a week later. I don't know about you but I am not a fan of coming to the dentist frequently so having it all done in one day is a plus for me. I was given the option to use their one day service of having the mold done or I can choose to wait and have it done then come back. I choose the one day offer and it was the best decision cause now i'm not bothered with food being stuck in between my tooth. Anyhow, needless to say Dr. Cao was awesome along with his dental assistant. It was the best dental service i've received in a long time. I understand that scheduling can be challenging, but it would have been very helpful if the office had informed us in advance that it was their administrative week and the doctor was not on site.
