Kiel and his team had to reschedule twice due to circumstances beyond their control. Each time, Kiel called and notified me with plenty of time in advance of each reschedule. On the day of the service, the men showed up exactly when they said they would and got straight to work. The men surveyed the yards and took every precaution necessary to ensure that my property was protected. He even had safety cones and signs in the street to warn local drivers. With each branch removal, the men carefully guided each limb until it landed safely on the ground, making sure that no shrubs or fences were damaged in the process. After the trees had been removed, the men raked the property, used a leaf blower to remove any additional debris and made sure that every branch, piece of wood, stick and limb were cleaned up. Wow. I could sum up their job with one sentence. There was a tree, it was dead, they removed it safely, and you'd never know it was ever there. However, I'll elaborate a bit. Met Kiel one day for a quote. His quote beat all others I obtained in the area, and Kiel was a sincere and professional gentleman. The workers came by and were very professional and safe. This tree was a dead 80+ spruce jammed between two other spruces and close to my neighbor's house. They took the tree down piece by piece in such a controlled manner. They then ground the stump. Kiel's Tree Service removed one small, one large maple and a very large pin oak from my property on 11/30/17 The crew worked all day taking down these trees. Cleanup was impressive and safety among the workers was carefully followed. several weeks later the crew was back, at my request, to remove a vey large pile of root wood chips. They also reground exposed roots after the cleanup and hauled away the entire lot. The price charged for the original service, and additional work that I requested, was reasonable and about what I expected to pay. Good work by a fine local company. We needed to have five trees removed. Kiel was one of three estimates we received. He was the most knowledgeable and took time to explain the process to us. He was also the only one who told us our town required a permit for this work and applied for it on our behalf. His men came on time and, though some of the trees were difficult to get to, did a great job. The trees and all debris were removed...even from my neighbors' yards. Kiel's Tree Care has been amazing! They've done beautiful and complicated work on our yard, and he SAVED us after Tropical Storm Isaias!
