    Beef ribs
    Art J.

Well this is an authentic hole in the wall restaurant my neighborhood friend treated me out. I like the fact that they had beef ribs which is hard to find and they cooked it right it wasn't dry because most people say beef ribs is dry this one wasn't dry. I need to come back with the Tacos Carnitas and the lamb ribs too which I never knew existed. Service was ok it's whole in the wall. In regards to what I ordered the lamb was moist and delicious and as I said it wasn't dry the beans was good and compliments the tortillas they gave I think it was corn tortillas and soft shell was hot in the beginning temperature wise but good I never thought I'd be piping hot when they serve it. As for the ambiance what do you expect from hole in the wall I mean there's no fancy loin cloths you pay at the end almost like the informal cafeteria style but when you're on a budget and you got nothing else to eat this is better than nothing. I wouldn't come back when I'm in the mood for hole in the wall food. It's also next to Park packing company that sells fresh meat versus going to your overrated grocery stores for me. It's very cold when you go inside like a freezer so be careful with park packaging next door which I should make a separate Yelp review.

You won't find a well well designed interior, nor cloth napkins with incredible table side service. What you will find is fantastic food, in what feels like an factory cafeteria. The restaurant is part of, Park (meat) Packing, next door. The menu is mainly pork, with several other options available. The specialty is the carnitas, and when you bite into your taco you will understand that perfected their craft. It's one of those things where you kind of nod to yourself and say, 'Yeah....' The ribs are a steal about $6 for a small slab. The prices here are hard to beat, you can easily feed a family for $20. Monday and Tuesday certain tacos are on sale for $0.99 Get in here, loosen your pants a little , stuff your kisser, and delight your your tastebuds without having to lighten your wallet. Dig in, and enjoy #ghostlygourmet

We have been coming here for a few years and they never fail. The carnitas are delicious! You can ask for them by the pound or as a taco dinner. They have so much more to choose from, their menu has a little bit of everything for everyone even the picky peeps. I highly recommend, you won't leave disappointed

My mother ordered food today (Mother's Day 5/10/26/) and we're not pleased with the service we…read morereceived today. My mom orders from here often for family events and work events, however, today they lost our order ticket so our 2pm order wasn't made until we went to pick it up, and we didn't get it until 3pm. We handled that with grace and didn't complain. When they finally got the food to us and put it in the trunk, they spilled the juice from the Italian beef tray in the trunk. Which again, we were very calm and didn't complain about it. When the food got to the house and we started to unpack, we realized that we didn't get the steak sandwich tray we ordered, but a tray of mixed sandwiches. My mother called the restaurant to see how we can fix this, since we didn't need a tray of mixed sandwiches when we ordered the Italian beef and chicken Vesuvio separately as it was. The manager, Ali, basically called my mom a liar, said they checked the trays and we got the correct one. This is clearly not the case. She had horrible customer service skills and even refused to refund the difference for the price for the mixed sandwich trays and steak sandwich trays. As long-time customers we expected better. I've attached screenshots of the receipt and the food we receive. Edit: we spoke to the manager Kara today She was apologetic and made everything right for us.

Order came out pretty quick. How was it? BOMB! This sandwich is amazing! It is messy as hell, but that's half the fun eating it. The steak is tender, the sauce is delicious, and the bread is soft and holds up the whole way through the sandwich. I will crave this sandwich until the next time I am in Chicago. It's perfect!

I've spent a lot of time in Philadelphia and have had many cheesesteaks, so I'm well versed on what…read morea good Philly Cheesesteak should taste like. The quality of the steak and the hoagie roll (has to be fresh and from Philadelphia) being of utmost importance. The first time I had a Charley's cheesesteak (Rosemont Outlet mall location), was due to a recommendation from someone. I'm always hesitant about getting cheesesteaks from random places, because they're just not good. I got the chicken cheesesteak and to my surprise, it was tasty. The chicken was seasoned, bread was good and the fries were crispy. On this particular occasion, I visited the Charley's located on 47th street, in the Lake Park Plaza Shopping Center. This is a strip mall location with other eateries and a laundromat. While there's parking, it can sometimes get crowded, and is always filled with cars. Upon entering, there are a few tables, but the space really isn't setup for dining in . On this occasion I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, fries and a peach lemonade. I do suggest ordering on the mobile app to save time. The mobile app also offers coupons and points earned for purchases made. (A few weeks prior I had a free drink on my account for my birthday. I went in store to order, and had to go back and forth with the counter attendant about if the drink was for a lemonade or a milk shake, as I wanted a milk shake. It was for both, but I wanted a milk shake. All of this would've been avoided if I had ordered online. I hate going back and forth with people, which is why I prefer ordering fast food online- so I don't have to deal with people- but I digress). I had ordered online so didn't have much interaction with the counter attendants, on this occasion. However, my interaction with them was pleasant. The cheesesteaks are pretty good, nice serving size with portions that leave you full. I've also ordered boneless chicken wings in the past, and they, too, were tasty. My favorite cheesesteak on the planet is Max's in North Philadelphia. But when in Chicago, Charley's is my go to for a cheesesteak in the city, for the meantime.

We split the large old School Philly sandwich and a special Kimchi version. I like that they change it up with different flavors. We didn't get any sides or fries with it. The bread is nicely seasoned and toasty, not hard, and the meat and cheese were tasty. We did carryout, they do not have much in the way of dine in. I saw some juices and ice cream, which I will def try when it's warmer out. The staff was professional and friendly. I think there is a tv in there, as it is a 10 or so minute wait for each order. They are in a mini mall so one could wander around, but next time I will order online.

The rumors are true, Chicago hot dogs are the best. order the Chicago style, hot dog and the chili cheese dog with the chili cheese fries. Was a phenomenal meal. The Chicago style hot dog was made of a juicy hot dog topped with relish, diced onions, sliced tomato, and peppers (believe these peppers made the difference). Wasn't expecting much but these hotdog dogs were fantastic. The chili dogs and chili cheese fries were pretty standard. The hotdog itself was very juicy and tasty. But overall pretty standard across the board. Also ordered their famous chocolate cake. Honestly, it was good, but nothing special. We got in late Wednesday, so after a long day of travel, we just opened up the DD app to find something Chicago and quick and easy. I got the 2 Chicago dog meal, Dr Pepper and small fry. Husband got the Italian beef, regular size, sprite and large fry. Price was about $40 before DD fees and tip. When order finally arrived (DD issue!) we noticed no sprite. Driver told us that was a store issue. So we had to venture out and go get my husband something to drink. Our food was cold - DD issue maybe? Not sure. My food was ok - the Chicago dogs were classic, but I also feel like that was the same dog I could get back home at weinersnitzel, for a quarter of the price. My husband said the meat on his sandwich was very lacking, it was only on one half of his sandwich. Not sure if I would try again. Food was overpriced for the quality.
