When the manager saw us playing euchre, however, she screamed at us from across the bar that euchre was "illegal" and not allowed. She demanded that we stop immediately and made clear that we were not welcome at the establishment. Playing a friendly, non-cash game of cards is not illegal, and the manager said she also would have kicked us out for playing Uno. As a private business, McKay's is free to enforce whatever rules it wants. However, in addition to being forced to leave, the way the manager handled the situation was unnecessarily aggressive and belittling. She could have quietly come to our table and explained the policy, but instead chose to yell at us from across the bar. There are plenty of great businesses in Blo-No worth supporting that do not treat their patrons this way. I will take my future business elsewhere and encourage anyone reading this to do the same.

She apologized again and asked if we just wanted it boxed up to go, to which we said yes. Several minutes later a manager showed up and told us again, that there was a miscommunication and the appetizer was never made and yet to be placed in the oven. At this point, we asked it to be canceled and just asked for boxes and the check. Things happen, and the way they responded to the mistake is the reason I am still giving them 4 stars.
