I love the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger. I ate one of these, when I had a cold and was about to lose my sense of smell and taste (I've always had this when I am under the weather.) Either way, that Killer Burger was the last thing I tasted for a few days and I'll never forget how delicious it was. We will definitely be back, no cold this time! I came back recently, for another one of those Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger. It was outstanding! So happy! I ordered online, came in store to pick up, and had a little issue figuring out which bag was my order. Your staff was incredible and so helpful. Food came out and the fries were crispy and delicious. Enough seasoning on it. The burgers were delicious. I was pretty full from eating the fries. This is a restaurant in a busy area. I actually moved away from Oregon and can't come here as often now, but there have been changes since my prior review. We did a take out order. I got a PB pickle bacon and while I opened the box at home, THEY PUT NO PEANUT BUTTER. How do you forget a core ingredient that's in the name of the burger. I'm realizing how much I do not enjoy the burger without the PB. It's simply too salty. I tried calling them multiple times after and they wouldn't answer the phone. Exceeded our expectations on the burgers and the fries were the best we've eaten in a very long time. My date had the Motley Que and I the Fun Guy. Both were great! In fact, so good my date she this was the most food she'd eaten since the Mexican restaurant we stopped in recently. The fries are thick, not those whimpy type that can be served limp and soggy. I love the peanut butter pickle bacon burger! Oh my oh my, their peanut butter on top of that perfectly grilled patty with the bacon and pickles... so good! My boyfriend ordered the crispy chicken, it was just ok. Personally I wouldn't order it again, it's just not my thing. We also got our burgers cut in half so that we can try each other burgers. Don't forget to ask for the fries seasoning, that's a game changer. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. It was busy in there, a mixture of dine in customers and lots of to go orders. We've been regulars at Killer Burger since they first opened. We absolutely LOVE the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger - truly a great flavor combo with the sweetness of the peanut butter, the tanginess of the pickles, and the crispiness of the bacon... BUT we just went to the Happy Valley location yesterday and the usually delicious soft Franz buns they have always used had been replaced with ones that were much heavier and more "bready." It completely threw off the balance of the burger, and I'm not sure that we will go back again. No one at the restaurant had an explanation for the change. I will be so sad if this is a permanent change and the best burger around is no more. Please tell me this isn't true! Never mind the food or the ambience; the service was subpar, and the employees were unconcerned with the safety of their clientele. We took our daughters into the Killer Burger on Sunnyside last night and after they sat at the kids table for 20 minutes, without warning, the whole damn thing tipped over and came down on them. They were both left sore from the incident and had to go to the bathroom to clean up, with their meals scattered over the front of them. Now, I understand that things happen, but what gets me is the complete lack of concern from employees over the safety of two children. No one even asked if they were OK; they just went about their business as if it were a daily occurrence. The only sign that anyone knew something had happened was when someone came out of the back to ask another employee what the crash was. I had to go to the counter and ask if someone was even concerned or maybe wanted to offer help to clean the mess, or at the very least offer a coupon for the meals that were scattered all over the floor. The attitude of the employees made it feel like customers were just an inconvenience to their day. We won't be going back. A coupon doesn't make up for the trauma of two kids having a large wooden table collapse on them. read more

Haven't been to Killer Burger in quite a while because the locations aren't convenient for me. However, they deliver, so I'm much more likely to venture into areas I don't feel like driving to. I love peanut butter on a burger and really miss it (burger place I used to go closed permanently during Covid). There was lots of flavor and the perfect balance of PB to not completely overpower it. My partner likes spicy so we also went for the Bender. Really tasty, but definitely spicy. I could take maybe a couple bites before I'd need a drink of water. So if you like spicier you'll be happy, but it is not the dulled down version of "spicy" other places carry. I really want to try the Fun Guy sometime soon because it also sounds amazing. I remember liking them in the past, but like I said, just not near them usually anymore. The fries were super good too, almost couldn't stop eating them. It's a lot of food all at once, but they reheat well enough too. We'll for sure get delivery again from here when we want a really good burger. read more

I ordered the fun guy and my cousins ordered the peanut butter pickled bacon and the classic. Also got a kids burger for my nephew. My burger was pretty good until the end. The meat was very charred and the mushrooms were flavorful. The burger was not as juicy as I'd like, but it wasn't bad. The reason I say it was good until the end is because my last 4 bites were straight up eating salt. They probably didn't salt this specific patty evenly but it was unbearable towards the end. I tried the peanut butter burger and wasn't super impressed. My cousin loves it though because she likes peanut butter on her food..? It's a little sweet and savory and peanut buttery....I think I like my burgers very charred and savory so the flavor wasn't for me. The kid's burger was 6.50 and was only a quarter of the size of a normal burger. It came out and my nephew said "wow this is tiny." For 4 bucks more, just get your kid a normal sized burger and take the leftovers home! read more

This location is in a strip mall with lots of parking available. At peak hours it can get pretty full due to all the eating establishments. The decor is a bit different in the sining room. The coolest thing is a lighted tree in the center of the dining room that they change the color on from time to time. Love it! Today it was hot pink! This is the busiest Killer Burger I've been to. Seriously.... at 4 PM on a weekday this place was slammed. But not to worry! They have a staff and system in place to handle it. The gentleman that took my order was very personable and helpful and the rest of the staff appeared to enjoy what they were doing as well. For those of you who have never been to a killer burger... Bacon is the standard here. I ordered the Classic burger which comes with bacon, American cheese, tomato, pickles, onions and special sauce. It was the perfect American classic burger and was cooked to perfection. The fries came along as the side. They were good. I agree with one of the other reviews that some seasoning salt would be excellent on the fries and would take them over the top. All in all this was a great experience and one of the best running burger chain restaurants I've been to. read more

Everyone I've talked to since moving back to PDX has raved about Killer Burger. The wife and I were out running errands when we realized it was too late to go home and cook, and as if a sign from the Heavens, Killer Burger in Happy Valley came into view. What the heck, let's give it a try. The place itself is kind of small, half sports bar and half family friendly restaurant. We were there are out 7pm and the place was pretty full but we found seating and placed our orders. Noise was a little more than I like, but not extreme, We played it safe and ordered the classic burger for each of us, taking a pass on the house sauce and just going traditional with mayo. When the food arrived we were surprised to get thick bacon, juicy burgers and the best fries I've gotten in recent history. After our original Mother's Day plans fell through, we came back for another round, this time with our kids and my mother in law. It was early afternoon, so this time it was much less crowded and they had old classics playing at a much more tolerable level. This time I tried the Jose Mendez, again opting out of the house sauce. This was one of the best spicy burgers I can remember having. Just enough heat to get your attention but not enough to cause discomfort. My daughter got the Red Molly, which she said was a little greasy but it is a burger and all...... All in all, I agree with the hype for the most part.
