You have a ton of fast food burger options on Powell: McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in the Box, A&W, Burgerville... possibly even more. But why would you pay the same or possibly more money for an inferior burger when you can get excellent food at Super Deluxe?? Their cheeseburger combo meal is $12. I'm not sure you can even get a gallon of gas for $12 anymore! Add the always-friendly staff and clean dining area to the equation and it'd be irresponsible to eat elsewhere.

Not great, not terrible Service was kinda slow and the dine-in vibes were filled with asylum lighting Shake was entirely skippable. Was more icy/watery than creamy Fries were stellar. Crispy, well seasoned, no notes Burger was pretty good but the patty itself was kinda dry I'd rather have gone to Midcity Smash, Wendy's, maybe even McDonalds for the right deal. Price wise this place is comparable to a local burger joint so I'm not impressed with the offering. Heard the nuggets were great so maybe that's worth a shot

4/5 burgers. And there's nothing wrong with that. I maintain that In-N-Out is also just a 4/5 burger, but that the spread (if applied liberally) and the price give it the cult following that it has. Super Deluxe pumps out deliciously cooked smashburgers and exceptional chicken nuggets (close to Chik-Fil-A than McNuggets). The fries and the drinks aren't my favorite. It's not a messy burger, and it's also tastes surprisingly clean (i.e. not so heavy on the stomach). The burgers are picture-perfect in a way that reminds me of processed fast food, but the taste is definitely a tier or two above (while the price is closer to the former!).

The worst burger I've ever seen in my life.

I just ordered a burger at the drive-through. It was cold, and it looked like it had a bite taken out of it half of the bottom bun was missing and they threw an extra piece of soggy bread in with the sandwich. I threw it away. It was gross. If the children you have working there, don't know how to make a hamburger maybe you shouldn't hire children. Those boys have no clue what they're doing.

Great burger and fry but it smelled like old cheese (not too bad but very noticeable when you first walk in)Deluxe sauce is pretty good as well I recommend that with fries idk about the other sauces didn't try. 4.5/5 would give 5 if not for smell

Supposedly a plain burger... they messed up, instead of making me a new burger they lazily scraped off the stuff I didn't want.

Best burger in Portland and I will die on that hill. Fries are always crispy, nugs have quality meat.

What is their phone number? We got charged twice for our order.

Couldn't find a phone number anywhere, but they do have a Facebook page with a "Send Message" link. Good luck.

    I believe they do

Are there any gluten free options?

I'm not sure... you may need to call them.

Does the impossible come with vegan cheese or a vegan sauce?

My understanding is that it is American cheese (aka NOT vegan).

Have you done a taste test regular vs impossible? Results?

I had an Impossible burger when they were first released in San Francisco at the release party. First bit was like Wow! tastes like a burger. Then with subsequent bites the artificial flavors became more prevalent and distasteful as well as the… Read more

Do they have gluten free buns?

No, unfortunately last time I went they did not offer a gluten free bun option.

However, my afternoon excursion into Downtown this Saturday was so thoroughly delightful that I felt an absolute duty to share my experience for my premier review. The central district was beautifully bustling for the weekend, yet the establishment maintained an air of effortless hospitality. The staff members were remarkably friendly a quality I find immensely pleasing. I escorted myself to an excellent, highly comfortable seat to survey the room. The waitress promptly presented a refreshing beverage, and we engaged in a brief, lovely conversation. She was entirely charming and attentive. While the menu's selections were somewhat more conservative in scale than I had initially anticipated, it was perfectly curated with solid, classic options. For my luncheon, I selected the Portland Burger. The kitchen executed the order with commendable timing, presenting the dish precisely thirteen minutes later. The presentation was grand an impressively large, substantial burger composed of a beautifully toasted bun, premium meat, and impeccably prepared onion rings. The entire experience was an absolute treat. I am thoroughly enamored with this exciting Downtown find and shall most certainly be returning

Between the genuinely friendly hospitality and the flavor combinations, this spot hits it out of the park and is a must for sandwich lovers. Griddled Mortadella (5/5): An incredibly delicious sandwich that perfectly balances rich, salty, and savory flavors. It comes loaded with a generous portion of grilled mortadella and melted provolone cheese, perfectly moistened with a tangy mustard aioli. The fresh lettuce and bell peppers added a satisfying crunch to every bite. Chefwich - K-Town Steak Sandwich (5/5): A limited-time creation packed into a banh mi roll. It had a generous portion of perfectly tender and sweet bulgogi steak that pairs with their melted jack cheese. The gochujang mayo sauce had a subtle and sweet heat, while the fresh kimchi added crunch and slight acidity to balance the rich meat. Elote Tater Tots (5/5): Definitely a creative side dish. The tots were perfectly fried and topped elote style with cotija cheese, pairing well with the smoky chipotle mayo on the side. Logistics Tip: Street parking is surprisingly easy to find in the surrounding area, even on a busy weekend evening. The restaurant has a spacious layout with plenty of seating options both inside and outside. If you're a first-timer, don't hesitate to ask the staff for suggestions, as they're exceptionally warm, welcoming, and passionate about the menu.

My daughter and I shared the Willamette Reuben and her friend ordered the Italian Flag. We shared the Lardo fries. Oh man, the Reuben was perfection! The flavor of the meat and everything on the sandwich, from texture to flavor--chef's kiss! We heard that the Italian Flag was excellent too. Definitely, you can share a sandwich especially if you're having fries. The fries were delicious--crispy and flavorful on the outside, perfectly hot and mushy on the inside. Yum!

IMO. This BBQ is Kansas City style, so the sauce is a bit sweeter. We got the brisket, the chicken wings, and sides. We couldn't decide if on the sauce for the wings, so we got all 3 on the side. The Alabama white sauce was A+ The brisket was perfectly tender. It had great flavor and marbling. The wings are full wings with the drummette attached. That's the way to do it! They are smoked and then fried. They got the crisp just right. Let's talk about sides! We got the collard greens, coleslaw, and baked beans. They were all FANTASTIC! The coleslaw is a vinegar coleslaw, which I love. It wasn't the sweet mayonnaise style that most people don't enjoy. It was so good! The collard greens were perfectly flavored and tender!
