Super Deluxe Burger and Fries (exactly like the menu item!)
    David K.

Grabbed a quick bite on the way to a meeting and came away impressed with the food, but less so with the experience getting in and out. Food: Single Deluxe Combo ($12) - 4.5/5: Wow. The burger honestly looked exactly like the ad, which is rare. The patty tasted charbroiled and immediately reminded me of Harvey's from Canada, which brought back a lot of good memories. The toppings were well balanced, savory, and just salty enough. A really solid burger. Fries - 4.5/5: Crinkle cut and fresh. They were cooked just a touch longer than I prefer, but only slightly. Still very good. Drink: Good and not watered down. Straws are by request, which I appreciated. Service: 3/5. I'm not sure if this is meant to be fast food or fast casual, but the wait felt longer than expected. About 2 to 3 minutes waiting for the car ahead of me, then another 4 to 5 minutes for my order. I may just be used to places like McDonald's being much faster. Ambiance: 1/5. The drive thru setup was rough. I could barely get into the lane and had to circle the parking lot. The lot itself was packed, right next to a stoplight, and exiting was stressful with multiple cars trying to get out at the same time. The food was genuinely very good, but the drive thru and parking situation make me hesitate to go back, even though the burger itself was excellent.

The to-go box has FU written on the top in ketchup

My mom ordered her favorite burger from here through grubhub a week ago and received this message on the inside of her to-go box, after we assume she didn't tip as much as they hoped she would. For context my mom is having to file for bankruptcy and move out of her house, so unfortunately she doesn't have a lot of money to offer for a tip. She usually never gets food out or orders in, but when she saw she had a deal from grubhub she thought she would treat herself and order one of her comfort foods during this difficult time. Only to find this absolutely unacceptable message left for her. Luckily she has gotten her money back from grubhub at this point, but I just wanted so share this to warn everyone about how willing this establishment is to jump to disrespect. I'm sure the employees of this establishment a likely not treated well by their ownership, and as someone who has worked in fast food and has been a server for many years I have nothing but respect and empathy for this line of work. But as someone in this industry who had been stiffed hundreds of times, especially people who have the means to tip, or blatantly disrespected by customers, I have never once retaliated like this no matter the circumstances. My mom unfortunately doesn't have the means to tip the best right now, and if she did she absolutely would, but I hope that who ever did this realizes that you should never blindly disrespect someone especially when you don't know their circumstances.

Not great, not terrible Service was kinda slow and the dine-in vibes were filled with asylum lighting Shake was entirely skippable. Was more icy/watery than creamy Fries were stellar. Crispy, well seasoned, no notes Burger was pretty good but the patty itself was kinda dry I'd rather have gone to Midcity Smash, Wendy's, maybe even McDonalds for the right deal. Price wise this place is comparable to a local burger joint so I'm not impressed with the offering. Heard the nuggets were great so maybe that's worth a shot

4/5 burgers. And there's nothing wrong with that. I maintain that In-N-Out is also just a 4/5 burger, but that the spread (if applied liberally) and the price give it the cult following that it has. Super Deluxe pumps out deliciously cooked smashburgers and exceptional chicken nuggets (close to Chik-Fil-A than McNuggets). The fries and the drinks aren't my favorite. It's not a messy burger, and it's also tastes surprisingly clean (i.e. not so heavy on the stomach). The burgers are picture-perfect in a way that reminds me of processed fast food, but the taste is definitely a tier or two above (while the price is closer to the former!).

The worst burger I've ever seen in my life.

I just ordered a burger at the drive-through. It was cold, and it looked like it had a bite taken out of it half of the bottom bun was missing and they threw an extra piece of soggy bread in with the sandwich. I threw it away. It was gross. If the children you have working there, don't know how to make a hamburger maybe you shouldn't hire children. Those boys have no clue what they're doing.

They inhaled their food while I ate half so far

My brother wanted burgers, so he Googled a place nearby, and we popped in. Alot of places don't offer vegan foods or vegetarian, so I was just going to order fries , but to my surprise, they had a vegan burger ! It was yummy, but the fries is what stole the show for me ! ( the bun was too dry , I guess my brother ordered me gluten free bread . Regular bread next time, but it's good they have that as an option for people. My brother says he would definitely come back for a burger and the chicken nuggets, too.

Best burger in Portland and I will die on that hill. Fries are always crispy, nugs have quality meat.

What is their phone number? We got charged twice for our order.

Couldn't find a phone number anywhere, but they do have a Facebook page with a "Send Message" link. Good luck.

    Do they do lettuce wraps?

    I believe they do

Are there any gluten free options?

I'm not sure... you may need to call them.

Does the impossible come with vegan cheese or a vegan sauce?

My understanding is that it is American cheese (aka NOT vegan).

Have you done a taste test regular vs impossible? Results?

I had an Impossible burger when they were first released in San Francisco at the release party. First bit was like Wow! tastes like a burger. Then with subsequent bites the artificial flavors became more prevalent and distasteful as well as the…

Do they have gluten free buns?

No, unfortunately last time I went they did not offer a gluten free bun option.

There's also plenty of seating outside and covered tent seating. It took about 12-15 minutes for the food to be served which was ideal. Both the fish and the prawns were cooked in a red sauce that was delicious! I meant to ask for blue corn tortillas but was so excited to find shrimp & fish tacos that weren't deep-fried that I forgot to ask for them. The regular corn tortillas were excellent, though, so it was not a bad mistake to make. I also had jamaica to drink and let me tell you... it was not made from a mix! It was dark, thirst-quenching, and perfectly made. Most jamaica is super sweet - this was not! I love the flavor of real hibiscus and this did not disappoint.
