Okay.... So I went there to get 10 pounds of crawfish to-go for a special birthday. Everybody told me that they'd be super spicy there and so great. Nope. They weren't spicy at all and they were also small. There were also pieces of grass and sticks in the bag. I also ordered a pound of the snow crab legs. I don't know why, but they came with this nasty brown seasoning on them that made your hands pretty nasty. I didn't know why they would need to season them but then I realized that it was to cover up for the nasty taste of the crab. I don't know how old these were, but they were not good. I gave some to my friends to try whom I was eating with, and they all agreed. So it was about $80 spent on bad food. I don't know what the hype is about this place, I found it to be pretty awful. I was truly impressed with the first time eating at this establishment. The staff very helpful with food recommendations and the service was on point during a busy lunch hour. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has various options to include crawfish as a very popular item which comes out very fast. It's a restaurant located off Hwy 61 heading towards Gautier. There are many options for seafood lovers. New location ALERT! Located next to the Marathon in St. Martin, Killer Crab has found the perfect spot. We were craving steamed shrimp so we wanted to check out this new spot. Prices are more than reasonable.Options for crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish. We ordered the 2lb shrimp platter- they ask your preference on if you want it seasoned mild/med/hot, we went with medium but there wasn't really any spice so we would have been fine with hot I think. We waited 20 min and everything came out steaming hot and freshly made, we were super happy that we chose to dine here. I wouldn't say it's the best steamed shrimp I ever had just was lacking a little flavor but it was really good and we will be back. There is an area outside to sit and eat/wait if you wanted. Only thing I would think to add is if they did like fresh draw butter! Go check it out. I think they are closed Mon-Tue but the hours were like Wed-Sat 9-7 and shorter hours on Sunday. read more

Very clean, always busy. Bushwacker cocktail was too thick and too sweet. The food is fine, but I definitely prefer Bozo's in Pascagoula for shrimp--more of a sit-down restaurant feel, and better service. I do like that they will often have King Cakes for sale, and T-shirts--stuff like that. One of the best seafood markets on the Gulf Coast. Crawfish are always flavorful and food well made. We usually buy our live crawfish from here, but opted to dine in today with our family. If you are touring the Gulf Coast and are looking for fresh seafood, this is your place. Today we enjoyed crawfish that weren't overly spicy (yay), poboys and a snow crab platter. The staff seems to be ran by a younger generation, they don't smile, or even act like they enjoy their jobs, but they are always very busy every time we eat here, so I try not to let that make a big difference, especially since the food is good. The restaurant is well maintained on the inside and outside, bathroom was in disarray, but, again, Sunday afternoons during crawfish season is always a nightmare on the coast. read more

Pretty good place to get boiled crawfish. They have a casual restaurant and a very limited fresh fish market. They only had catfish and small flounder and shrimp and crawfish fresh. They had crab, but I think only cooked. There are two separate counters- one in the front for restaurant orders and one in the back for fresh fish. Service was good, but I had to stand in line twice because I didn't know there were separate registers for restaurant and market. read more

Ate here with a friend on a Sunday. When I first walked in the smell of raw seafood didn't have me too excited but then I noticed that it was packed so I waved that thought away. We managed to grab the last open table and happily shared it with another patron who needed a seat. I ordered the 12" shrimp Po'boy, dressed. It was definitely yummy and worth waiting for. It was a little loud with all of the various families talking & eating and we had to wait about a half hour which isn't too bad given the steady march of customers and the fresh ingredients cooked from scratch. I've only been once and had the butterfly shrimp which come with a piece of sausage, a potato, and a piece of corn. We shared an order (1Lb) for lunch and still had shrimp left over. We ordered ours medium spicy, and they were great. Fresh and hot! I didn't read the other reviews, but I'd definitely return. This is order at the counter, and they bring you your food. Got home and unwrapped the sandwich and what came out of the wrapper was the ABSOLUTE most PITIFUL excuse for a fried shrimp po-boy I have ever had the miserable experience to be witness to! First... NOT made the way I wanted! Next, I could have counted the number of shrimp on this miserable excuse for a sandwich on one and a half hands. I found myself looking through the wrapper and the empty bag to see if somehow they had fallen out. They were skimpy with the definition of "fully dressed" in the extreme. You can get a pound of boiled crawfish for only $4 and some change after tax. Shrimp and claws were "rubbery", the breading is so thick it gives and illusion that they're rather large. No one wore masks (employee or patrons). Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I drove an hour to get the "fresh" shrimp they advertised on Facebook only to get there and they are obviously orange and haven't been cooled properly- they sat in a tray with barely any ice. The man selling the shrimp even admitted they were caught days ago. The building itself must have been 80°. I instead ordered a side of crab balls to go. The crab balls were so mushy and full of shells that I threw them out. When I returned home I commented on their Facebook to let people know that the shrimp were not fresh and they DELETED the comment. I commented again and they responded saying "please tell me your not talking about brown shrimp, there are white and brown shrimp. Please know this". My entire family are shrimpers in Louisiana. I know the difference in brown shrimp and improperly iced brown shrimp. Next time maybe they will think twice before degrading their customers online but rest assured I will never be back to find out. Bozos had way better shrimp for a cheaper price. read more

My family and I visited the 2nd weekend in August and their Facebook page advertised "boiled crab all weekend at both locations."(I never could figure out where the other location was. We went to the one on Gautier Vancleave Rd.) They only had one dozen boiled crabs and they were cold and had to be steamed to warm them up. So, they weren't fresh. The shrimp here are also steamed and not boiled which is fine for anyone who likes that. We also were hoping for charbroiled oysters. They were on the menu and the facebook page advertised that they were selling sacks of oysters that same day, but they weren't "doing oyster yet." Whatever that meant. Then the drink machine was out of ice. The restaurant was too small and there wasn't much seating inside so we sat on the patio. It was 93 degrees and there weren't enough fans on the patio. So, when the food came the flies swarmed. We couldn't eat for shewing them off our food so we had to take our food home to eat it. The seasoning on the steamed shrimp wasn't great. One good thing: The waitress was very sweet. read more

I was so excited to try this place. First, the place is small and dirty. Every table in there needed to be wiped down. The trash was overflowing. The restrooms had no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no trash can. They were out of the crab claws that I came for so I tried a crabmeat poboy instead. It wasn't bad. The burger wasn't bad either. The soft shell crab was cooked so wrong that we had to send it back. The sides were very tiny for the price. I'm all about giving places second chances but not likely this time. read more
