The last three times I went there expecting fresh local fish, when I got home it tasted old. Both speckled trout and a few months ago whole triple tail. The crawfish pie had 6 crawfish and was discarded after one try. I travel about 25 miles to get there but has been disappointing. Our first visit was just before Christmas... actually Christmas Eve, Eve... we shared the daily special which was $15.99. It was several different fried items, Shrimp, oysters, swaii, hush puppies, fries and gumbo. The gumbo is excellent. It was very generous portions. It was delicious, especially the swaii! It isn't a heavy breading and the true flavor of each items flavor is highlighted We also purchased fresh jumbo shrimp and frozen crab cakes, that I prepared at home. We boiled some for shrimp cocktail and prepared the rest for Angel hair pasta with olive oil and garlic. They were large, plump and delicious with a burst of flavor with each bite. The line was fast, selection was great and the staff was professional. We did feel rushed as we were considering what to purchase. We left without buying more because of the pace. It is a busy time of year and we plan on returning to buy salmon amongst other items in the future. read more

Usually we stop in a few times and noticed they usually closed. Restaurant side is called Rosetti's. Please understand it is not a big restaurant; but a nice small cafe. If you want a full dedicated restaurant; you many want to go somewhere else? With that being said, we got our order to go. Has great outdoor covered seating, if weather permits. The seats are hard wood chairs inside and big metal chairs with nice padding on them outside, but good to sit in. The food is excellent! I know it seems small, but tasty! Appears the onion rings are popular. We ordered them, but she told us it just sold out. She recommended the fries are good. So we got the fries instead. The service is excellent. If you dine in, you order at the front and they bring the food to you. The seasoning on the shrimp poboy is excellent! It comes fully dressed (Mayo, lettuce and tomatoes). My taste buds are sensitive. It comes off a bit salty, in my opinion. Others seem to love it cause they ordered it. The roast beef poboy (6") dressed is interesting. Unable to leave a review on their site so ill put it here. If I could shut them down for fraud and lying I would, since that is not an option, my one star will identify as that which I would do. I wanted to purchase 20# of gulf shrimp, I asked the clerk if this was local shrimp, his answer was yes. He asked me if I was traveling, I said yes. He told me that instead of getting the iced shrimp, that he had frozen blocks in the back that would travel. In fact the frozen shrimp is just thawed and that is was was on the line that ppl can buy by the individual amounts. I said ok and gave him my cooler. He packed the 4# frozen blocks, 5 blocks in total and put even more ice on them and I was on my way back home, $128.35 and 700 miles later. After getting home I checked on the shrimp and it was still frozen. What I did notice was, it is NOT local, wild caught gulf shrimp, it IS a product of Ecuador. I'm from Biloxi and I know the difference and can taste the difference. (Sidebar, I ate at a taratontos? And asked if their shrimp po boy was local shrimp, they said yes, the taste said no, it wasnt.) It was late and I was mad. This was Saturday and I had no recourse until Monday, so insult to injury at my dismay and disappointment before I could call and explain my experience. In fairness, they did refund the total cost of the shrimp but I would have rather given the shrimp back because I still don't have what I thought I was getting. I gave up a night in a hotel to buy the $120.35 shrimp. Whoever i talked to at the buisness he explained that they sell thousands of #'s of this shrimp. I feel like thats going to Washington state to buy apples from the orchard and finding out that the apples really came from china. I'm expecting a refund on the difference for the misleading of gender crabs, BUT he didn't!!! What a crab!!! Then I get home and find out they shorted me two! I got ripped twice!! Let me breakdown the reviews on this place. There is a cafe (labeled Bruno's Cafe) on the right side of the building and a retail seafood market on the left. The cafe is nice, the food is fried for the most part (they have a glass case with non-seafood items but I did not try them). I usually get the seafood platter plate which is reasonably priced, portions are huge, and the food is really good, even the french fries. The seating is limited but they do also have an outdoor area. The market has a wide selection of head on in the shell shrimp down to cocktail cooked, you can buy boxes of oysters (100 to a box) for about 35$ if I remember correctly, they were large and fresh. good selection of crab legs, whole and clean fish. I recommend if you are visiting Biloxi and want an easy place to grab some seafood for the trip home, they provide coolers (for a price). read more

Best seafood ever!!! We ask the concierge at our hotel where we can get good seafood and she pointed us to Quality seafood. The seafood selection was extensive and fresh because there was no tell - tale fishy smell Since we are in the south, we felt we had to eat like the locals and did we ever. My daughter and I had no trouble downing 4lbs of craw daddies. They had heat but the sweetness of the meat still came though. The local cafe was close on the weekend but we ask the owners if we can eat at their outside seating area. And a good thing too. I don't think our hotel would have appreciated us bringing back the craw daddies and eating them at their lobby/dining area. When you go here make sure to buy sides of the sweetest corn ever. Mom and husband shared two lbs of shrimp plus andouli sausage and small potatoes. The shrimp were not overly spiced n were jus perfectly steamed. The prices are great. 39 cent per corn and $1 per sausage. We spent less than $50 for four people. If we went to a restaurant, we would have easily spent twice this much. read more

I purchased two dozen steamed blue crabs, various spices and sides, three boxes of salted cod, two large whole flounders, 2# rainbow trout, 2# large shrimp for $80. Great selection of fresh local seafood. I go for the local fish and jumbo lump crab meat. There is always a great selection and the fish I've gotten there was very fresh. It's much better than what you find at any of the local supermarkets. We usually get our shrimp from the shrimp man on Hwy 90 but if we run out of time we get our boiled shrimp from quality. read more

She didn't know there were different kinds some taste good and some don't! She passed me to a guy in the back. I asked what kind of Pacific salmon did he have. He said "Scottish". Absolutely terrible seafood market! I've seen quite a few fish and seafood markets (from Joe Patti's in Pensacola to Big Fisherman's in New Orleans and this one is dead last at the bottom. I bought what was "called" redfish and after finishing the incorrectly filleted fish, noticed it had an unusual texture. After cooking it, the best conclusion I could make was that it was swai or pongo (imitation grouper and redfish from Malaysia or Africa). I decided to give them another try and just purchased what was told to me as "fresh from today Ahi Tuna". One of the worst fillets of fish I have ever seen, removed multiple bones, and after getting it out of the bag could tell it was at least 1-2 days old. Was going to use it for ceviche but didn't even want to risk getting sick so froze them up for steaks for next time. The service is terrible with them looking at you like you are bothering them and seem to have no interest in their jobs whatsoever. I will however, highly recommend the staff and seafood quality over at Desporte And Sons right down the street. Way better quality, honesty and service. They seem to actually enjoy helping their customers and providing true fresh seafood. I wish we had a Joe Patti's out here in MS. read more

Quality Seafood appears to be the largest seafood market in Biloxi. We visited their competitors who were really not much competition. Perhaps that is why they don't put much effort into service as they don't have much competition. Be careful what you buy here. I'm sure it's mostly good, but red the labels. Example, I've had Royal Reds many times, so I bought 12 lbs. here. 6 bags, 2 lbs. each frozen. Didn't notice until later, they are from Argentina! OK then, my mistake. Never seen that before. They do have lots of items for side dishes, gift type items, and a café attached for your visit. read more
