Located in a gas station, but if you know that's where one of the best po boy is located. You order at the counter and the wait time was not long to get the food. The front last was super nice and very helpful in helping me decide what to get. I ended up with the oyster po boy and it was full! You can eat it there or take it out. I would come back for sure.

    Overstuffed Fried Shrimp PoBoy

It wouldn't be a trip to Ocean Springs without a trip to Fayard's for our In-Gas-Station dining experience. This trip be ordered the Shrimp PoBoy to share. Last time we had the Shrimp PoBoy and the roast beef PoBoy, but had way too much food. So we ordered and waited. There were people there when we arrived at 2:00PM and people ordering and taking a way while we ate. Some lady came in and picked up four large PoBoys. Our number was called and we were excited. Our Fayard's PoBoy was ready for pickup. We opened this massive package up and there it was. The best Shrimp PoBoy of the week. As I said we shared the huge thing. We ate and ate. The fried shrimp kept falling out it was so over stuffed. I have come to realized over the last years that the small shrimp actually do better on a PoBoy versus the large ones and this was the case. Everyone's PoBoys looked good around us and everyone seemed very happy. Go ahead visit this place. Eat in or take out. On previous trips we have taken to go and they heat up very well. Highly recommend. Large Shrimp PoBoy $12.99 and big enough for 2 to share. Can't wait until our next trip to OC.

Stop in every time we're down from Atlanta to visit family. Fantastic! Stop in and get it dressed and pressed. You'll be happy.

Great poboys and friendly staff. Love how they keep the small town feel and quality they've always been known for.

The food here is consistently better, and the oysters, especially, just taste fresher here than the other one. However, for whatever reason, the last two times we've been here, we've just had some miserable waitresses. The time before this one, our waitress had been crying and was walking around teary-eyed, but still managed to give us impeccable service. This time, though, was by far the worst service I've ever received in my life. The waitress we had today was just almost rude. There was no smile at all, no awareness, and no patience - just nothing. At times, she would start walking away before we finished talking and would not give us eye contact. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes here, but would highly recommend that she go through another round of training, or maybe find another job that she actually enjoys. If we were tipping just based on service, I would say we received the bare minimum. Being the person my boyfriend is, he refused to give less than a 20% tip, because he knows that restaurant and bar staff are not paid especially well, but I really do feel like some effort has to be made. I haven't felt the need to write a review on Yelp again until now, but the service today was just excruciatingly painful. When I had commented to my boyfriend that maybe she was having a bad day, he even said that there was no reason for her to be taking it out on us. If we did not love the food and this was our first time, we would never come back.

I understand that Mother's…read moreDay (and the sun shinning) brings in a bigger crowd, but given that the restaurant was advertising a Mother's Day brunch AND they didn't even change the menu from their standard brunch menu, that they would be more prepared. We were seated right away (we did call a head of time to give them a heads up about our group size [10], even with the understanding of no reservations and first come first serve). Drinks were ordered and then brought out randomly and just left in the middle of the table, never with the person who ordered. NEVER offered a refill on anything. Not on water, sodas or even alcohol. Food order was placed pretty quickly. Waitress even mentioned that the Beef Debris PoBoy is good in flavor but that it's the most returned and or disappointed menu item when ordered in larger groups (I believe because it's wet). I took her recommendations and ordered 3 side items asking for them all to be together as a meal. Food is delivered and quite a few things were wrong or missing. Burger - missing standard toppings & over cooked to a hockey puck. Several missing items - meals and sides. The food runners were very confused and couldn't even speak when we tried to address the messed up food. Still no drink refills offered and the waitress was gone for so long we couldn't address the missing meals for a while. The food runners never said anything about the issues. Again, I get it, it's Mother's Day, but a suggestion was made (not requested) and then the alternative was incredibly messed up. Little apologies for any of the missing item issues and then the bills were all messy. None of these issues pointed to the kitchen so it's the rare time I don't appreciate an auto gratuity.

First off, they bring the food out in a giant plastic bag like it's evidence from a crime scene. And honestly, it is a crime--how much butter and Cajun seasoning they put in there. The shrimp were so spicy they gave me flashbacks to every bad decision I've ever made, and the sausage? That sausage whispered sweet nothings to me before punching me in the face with flavor. I'm not saying I fell in love, but I definitely Googled "how to legally marry andouille." The corn was hotter than Satan's armpit, and the potatoes were softer than my willpower. I burned my fingertips, tongue, and possibly my soul, but I regret nothing. The staff is friendly in that Southern way where they call you "honey" and tell you you're "lookin' peaky" while piling 7 pounds of shellfish in front of you. If your bib doesn't say "I'm here for a good time, not a long time," you're doing it wrong. Pro tip: don't wear white. Or tight pants. Or any emotional baggage you're not ready to let go of--because the boil will break you down and build you back better. 10/10, would cry happy tears into my crab legs again.

The first thing out of her mouth was did we have a reservation, and not in a nice tone either. We looked at each other and my hubby said no. After some review of their list, we were seated by the hostess who looked a bit embarrassed. I asked for a table overlooking the water, but was quickly told no. Okay, fine. The servers were great and attentive. The quality of the food was very good (kudos to the chef). The manager/owner walked around hugging and smoozing with the other patrons, but never came over to our table to ask if everything was satisfactory, etc. We finished our meal, paid the bill, and left. Again, our server was nice and attentive. Would we go back? Nope. Zig Ziglar has always said you should always have your best person on the phone or at the front desk. They're the face of your business and the first person the customer sees or speaks to. They set the tone and impression of a customer visit. She needs some serious customer service training. We felt put off and honestly, not welcome. I'm glad we tried it, but the first impression when we entered left a very negative impact.
